Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. ONE MORE WIN is all it will take for Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga this season after beating Mainz 05 by a convincing score of 3-0. Chelsea also beat Everton 1-0 in an important English Premiere League match. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to join the community and stay tuned with how the season shapes up. We kick this episode off by discussing Chelsea's big time EPL 1-0 win over Everton. It wasn't the most interesting match but a win is a win at this crucial point in the season. We break down Enzo Maresca's prematch comments, his lineup/tactics, match highlights, and player performances. Nicolas Jackson scored the lone goal of the match and was assisted by Enzo Fernandez. Chelsea was setup a bit differently in this match and we talk about what they should look like going forward for the remainder of the season. We break down Chelsea's remaining EPL and Conference League matches and what we're looking for out of them. Next up is Bayern Munich beating Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga 3-0. It was an overall great performance from the Bavarians but a win for Bayer Leverkusen over FC Augsburg means that the league will not be decided today. Bayern Munich needs one more win in their remaining three matches to clinch the league title. This could happen as early as next week away at RB Leipzig. We take a look at today's match by talking about both teams under Bo Henriksen and Vincent Kompany so far this season, lineups, tactics, match highlights, and player performances. Leroy Sane, Michael Olise, and Eric Dier scored for Bayern Munich with Olise and Konrad Laimer picking up assists. The dark stain on an otherwise great day was a wrongly award yellow card to Harry Kane. This being Kane's 5th yellow card of the season (and no reset rule like other leagues have) means that Kane will miss next weeks potentially title clinching matchup with a suspension. We talk about how special Jonas Urbig has been so far filling in for an injured Manuel Neuer with another clean sheet and we talk in more detail how players like Dier, Laimer, and Olise have really stepped up in key moments this season. Finally, this match was special was it saw the league debut for Jonah Kusi-Asare as well as Thomas Muller's 500th Bundesliga appearance. Being knocked out of the UCL in the Quarterfinals, the Bundesliga is Bayern's last hope at silverware before the FIFA Club World Cup this summer. Chelsea showed some fight and a fiery spirit to beat Fulham at the buzzer 2-1 after playing most of the match down 1-0. Jim provides his analysis of this match in special fashion. Jim provides an analysis of the match including Enzo Maresca's lineup, tactics, match highlights, and player performances. Reece James got the start again today as captain, Tyrique George scored the first goal to breathe some life into Chelsea before Pedro Neto had an incredible banger of a goal assisted by Enzo Fernandez to seal the match. Welcome back to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. We've got an exciting VIDEO episode for you here covering all the latest club football matches and news. Man oh man has there been a lot of news lately. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to stay up to date with all of the latest coverage and to join this growing community of football fans. Danny kicks this one off by delivering the most impassioned breakdown of his career covering Bayern Munich while sick with a cold. Call it his flu game. Bayern Munich beat an in-form FC Augsburg 3-1 in a fun Bundesliga battle under the Friday night lights. But at what cost? Bayern Munich lost Jamal Musiala for the season with a hamstring tear, adding to the list of crucial players who are injured. It looks like Bayern will be desperate for the services of cast aside club LEGEND Thomas Muller after all. Don't worry, Danny sheds some light on this situation as well with his thoughts on how bad of a look it is for Bayern. Back to the match, we offer a full breakdown of Vincent Kompany's lineup, tactics, player performances, all of the match highlights, and even match awards for the key players. Jamal Musiala scored the first goal for Bayern Munich before getting hurt with a nice turnaround shot when Leroy Sane found him with a beautiful ball into the box. Harry Kane drew a second yellow card on a risky challenge from Zesiger sending Augsburg down to ten men before scoring the go ahead goal with a perfect assist from Michael Olise. The final goal of the match was awarded as a goal to Leroy Sane before being changed to an own goal for Matisma on Augsburg. Danny closes things off by looking ahead to the Champions League Quarter Final showdown with Inter as well as Der Klassiker with Dortmund in the Bundesliga. Lots of fun & difficult matches coming up without key injured players. Jim comes through by breaking down Chelsea's fun and exciting 1-0 over Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premiere League. Enzo Fernandez scored the only goal of the this rollercoaster match assisted by Cole Palmer. Jim reviews Enzo Maresca's lineup, tactics, all of the match highlights, and individual player performances. Jim provides an update on Chelsea's season as whole and how he feels about it as well as where they stand in the EPL table and the UEFA Conference League going forward. Chelsea players Brentford next in the EPL and then faces off against Legia in the Conference League Quarter Finals. Subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay updated! Our poor record at Stamford Bridge continued on Thursday evening, as a second-half header from Enzo Fernandez consigned us to defeat in west London. Going into the game with just one win in Chelsea's enclosure during the Premier League era, we were unable to improve on that form and suffered a fourth straight reverse against the Blues, Fernandez scoring the only goal of the game five minutes after the interval. Pape Matar Sarr had a goal ruled out by VAR shortly after coming off the bench in the 64th minute, adjudged to have committed a foul in the build-up on Chelsea midfielder Moses Caicedo, who himself had one disallowed by the video assistant for offside, while Heung-Min Son was denied a late equaliser by a save from Robert Sanchez. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show for Episode 75. And be sure to head over to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to subscribe over there. Join this blossoming community, be here for the subscriber giveaways and for all of the incoming coverage as the season heats up We kick things off by breaking down the crazy 125th anniversary stinker that Bayern Munich put up losing to VfL Bochum 2-3 in a rollercoaster Bundesliga match that had a little bit of everything. We review Vincent Kompany's lineup, tactics, player performances, and all of the match highlights. The starting XI entirely consisted of Bayern's bench players as Kompany finally embraced rotation in order to rest the starters for the upcoming knock out Champions League matches. Bayer started the match great with a pair of goals from Raphael Guerreiro, assisted by Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller. However, things took a turn for the worst with a missed penalty by Serge Gnabry and a red card from Joao Palhinha taking Bayern down to 10 men. Bochum then scored three unanswered goals and won the match. We attempt to hand out empty match awards before previewing the second leg of Bayern Munich's round of 16 UCL tie with Bayer Leverkusen. We offer up predictions for the big match and close out this Bayern section by providing a quick update on the Joshua Kimmich contract situation. Finally some good news as we break down Chelsea's 1-0 win over Leicester City in the English Premiere League. We discuss Enzo Maresca's lineup, coaching tactics, the match highlights, and individual player performances. The lone goal of the match was scored by Marc Cucurella and was assisted by Enzo Fernandez. After looking at Chelsea's style of play as of late, we dive deeper into Chelsea's future and upcoming matches to preview what's in store and offer some predictions. Chelsea now sits at 4th place in the EPL table with the return leg against Copenhagen in the UEFA conference league coming up as well as Arsenal on the EPL on the horizon. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show for Episode 71. We're back breaking down the weekend matches with another video episode! Head over to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to take this one in. Don't forget to subscribe for more, join the community, and be part of this massive giveaway. The weekend started off with another poor Chelsea performance, losing to Aston Villa 2-1 in the English Premiere League. We breakdown this match by reviewing Enzo Maresca's altered lineup and tactics, as well as all the match highlights and player performances. The match started off strong for Chelsea with an awesome goal by Enzo Fernandez curtesy of Pedro Neto doing some incredible work streaking down the sidelines. After this things went downhill fast for the blues. We discuss all of Chelsea's woes of late and try to figure out where the blame lies and what the manager, leadership, and players need to do going forward. Chelsea has a crucial stretch of matches that they need to win incoming in the EPL and the Conference League. It all starts with South Hampton on Tuesday in the EPL. Bayern Munich, on the other hand, had a much needed dominating performance thrashing Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0 in the Bundesliga. Vincent Kompany and the boys really showed up in a massive league match for this one without some key players missing due to injury. We review the lineup, tactics, match highlights, player performances, and even hand out match awards. While Polly the cat was slightly off with her predictions, we expect her to be a star before long. Bayern Munich saw goals come from Michael Olise, Hiroki Ito, Jamal Musiala, and Serge Gnabry with assists from Leroy Sane and Kingsley Coman. We take a look at the Champions League Round of 16 and discuss Bayern's incoming blockbuster matchup with Bayer Leverkusen once again and their next Bundesliga match versus Stuttgart. We cap this episode off with some smooth jazz. Subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay updated! Thanks for listening. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea program. In this addition of the show we breakdown the weekend matches. In the Bundesliga Bayern Munich lost to Mainz 1-2 and in the English Premiere League Chelsea beat Brentford 2-1. We start things off by looking at Bayern Munich's lackluster 1-2 defeat on the road to Mainz 05. Mainz came with a better energy and a great pressing plan. We look at all the tactics, lineups, match highlights, lowlights, and individual player performances. Leroy Sane scored the lone goal for Bayern. It was tough to consider match awards for this one as everyone looked groggy & there were no standout performances, we were just able to highlight a couple individuals for this one. Vincent Kompany and Bayern looks now to get healthy and to close the hinrunde strong against top team RB Leipzig. Chelsea had a more pleasant day at the office beating Brentford 2-1 in the EPL. We review this match including lineups, coaching tactics, individual player performances, and match highlights. Marc Cucurella and Nicolas Jackson scored for the blue with Noni Madueke and Enzo Fernandez bagging assists. This one was also difficult to include match awards for as everyone on Chelsea did their job to secure these three points and there weren't any standout performances. Once again we highlight some key players. Enzo Maresca's system is humming as Chelsea finds themselves closing in on Liverpool and sitting firmly at second place in the table. Next up is Shamrock Rovers in the conference league and Everton in the EPL. Stay tuned. Subscribe to the YouTube channel for more! Thanks for listening. James is joined by Chelsea fan Gary Mantle and Brentford fan Tom Medd to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Sunday's Gameweek 16 meeting at Stamford Bridge. Are Chelsea now serious title contenders following Sunday's victory at White Hart Lane or are there too many concerns around aspects of their defence? Can Brentford turn any of their incredible home form into success on the road or is the disparity in home v away results explained away by the quality of opponents faced? Plus, FPL discussion includes whether man of the moment Cole Palmer should be captained this weekend, the appeal of enabler Enzo Fernandez, if Robert Sanchez and Levi Colwill are safe from further rotation and whether it's time to finally say goodbye for FPL managers who have held Brentford's players such as Mark Flekken, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa. In this one we breakdown Bayern Munich's bizarre 0-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB Pokal Round of 16 and Chelsea's awesome 5-1 thrashing of Southhampton in the English Premiere League. We kick off the show by reviewing another early and gut-wrenching German Cup loss for the Bavarians. We discuss everything from Vincent Kompany and Xabi Alonso's coaching tactics, lineups, player performances, officiating, and yes match highlights including Manuel Neuer's perplexing ill-timed challenge and subsequent red card that altered the match as well as Bayern's spirited effort to claw their way back into the match. We even try to hand out weak match awards for this one. The lone goal of the match came from Leverkusen's Nathan Tella with an assist from Alejandro Grimaldo. So where does Bayern go from here? First things first, a battle with Heidenheim on 12/7 and then to fae off against Shakhtar in the Champions League on 12/10. We brighten up the mood by breaking down Chelsea crushing Southhampton 5-1. We look into Enzo Maresca's coaching tactics, lineups, player performances, and all the highlights from the match. As always we award match awards for this one as well. Chelsea's goals were scored by Axel Disasi, Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Jadon Sancho. Assists were dished out by Enzo Fernandez, Noni, Joao Felix, Cristo, and Malo Gusto. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea for a midweek European football reaction episode. This one kicks off with a review of Bayern Munich's much needed Champions League victory over Benfica at the Allianz Arena 1-0. We review lineups, coaching tactics, player performances, match highlights and hand out player awards. Jamal Musiala scored Bayern's only goal of the match assisted by Harry Kane from a nice ball put in by Leroy Sane. Next, we preview Bayern's next match on 11/9/24 in the Bundesliga against St. Pauli and their overall upcoming schedule. We turn over to Chelsea to talk about their massive 8-0 crushing of FC Noah in the UEFA Conference League. Jim goes as far as to revisit ancient biblical scripture and provide updates including a match with this level of domination. As always we review key match moments, tactics, individual player performances, and give out our match awards. In this one we saw goals from Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Axel Disasi, Joao Felix, Mykhaylo Mudryk, and Christopher Nkunku. Assists can from Enzo Fernandez, Nkunku, and Disasi. To cap things off we even include an official statement from FC Noah curtesy of Noah Rasmussen, one of the world's finest Noahs. Now Chelsea gears up for a blockbuster English Premiere League match vs. Arsenal on 11/10. Stay tuned for full coverage of all upcoming matches. Thanks for watching and listening. The Truth: Is Moises Caicedo Becoming a £100m Player?

It's time for The Truth!Sam Tighe and Dougie Critchley take a deep dive on a transfer that stunned many observers last summer, when Chelsea spent £115, a British record fee, to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion. Caicedo had been one of the Premier League's revelations the season before, but it took a while for him to get his feet under the table at Stamford Bridge. Many were quick to write the transfer off as another piece of business where Todd Boehly had spent way too much money on a player who was performing well at the time, but since 2024 began, Caicedo has begun to show exactly why Chelsea were desperate to gazump Liverpool for the Ecuadorian's signature. We discuss his impact on Enzo Maresca's resurgent Chelsea side, and what has changed for the Blues to get the best out of Caicedo since the turn of the year, as well as examining his sometime midfield partner Enzo Fernandez, and wondering if that partnership might be one that ends sooner rather than later with Romeo Lavia now staking his claim for a starting spot alongside Caicedo. Is Moises Caicedo on a trajectory to be one of the best midfielders on the planet, or is the fee still too high for a player who doesn't seem to have all that many goals in his locker, even if he's brilliant at everything else? The Truth is somewhere in the middle...  And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?
