Misunderstandings around payment terms, timelines or delivery can cause misaligned expectations and painful back-and-forths. Today I'm chatting with Cian Brennan, CEO of Quantum Contract Solutions, to talk about improving understanding when it comes to the business side of construction. An award-winning entrepreneur, Cian has been working on the client side of construction for almost two decades. With unique insight into what's really going on in the construction industry, he has a deep understanding about the risks people face when entering building contracts, and how they can best protect themselves. Cian Brennan is the CEO of a company called Quantum Contract Solutions. Cian was on the Dark Side, which is the Client Side of Construction, for almost two decades. Over this time he saw hundreds and hundreds of Construction Companies being bullied contractually, losing money and going out of business. In 2019, after becoming deeply concerned with the state of the Industry and having inside knowledge of how the clients manage Contractors, Cian started Quantum to help Construction Contractors. Fast forward to today, Cian has won a 40 under 40 award, a Best of Business Award for innovation and outstanding growth and a finalist for entrepreneur of the year in the CEO Magazine and business news newspaper.
