Andy and Brendan! went live on YouTube as play wrapped up to recap an... eventful... Thursday at Quail Hollow. They discuss the supergroup of Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and Rory McIlroy's struggles both on and off the course, the ongoing debate over the "fairness" of mudballs, and take a look at a different leaderboard than we've been used to at recent major championships. They also hit on Phil Mickelson tying his worst-ever round at a PGA Championship, some more major disappointment for Joaquin Niemann, and were still live as Viktor Hovland, Justin Thomas, and Bryson DeChambeau wrapped up their Thursdays. The Regions Tradition is briefly covered after Richard Green's record-breaking round at Greystone.

Send us a textThree things you'd have to believe to find Karen Read guilty of murder!Have you ever wondered how in excess of 8 people, drove directly past the spot where the Commonwealth said John O'Keefe was lying in the snow? Brian Higgins a highly trained ATF, testified he pulled out and his jeeps's lights would have fully illuminated that very area, yet no body? C'mon.Jen Mcabe's infamous 2:27am "Hos long to die in the cold" google search. During a Daubert hearing, Richard Green revealed that cell phone forensics found that Jen had made 4,560 google searches over the life of the phone, yet only one search had ever been deleted, the "hos long to die in cold" search. Read that again, that search happened and it happened at 2:27am. This is issue settled. In order to find Karen guilty of 2nd degree murder you'd have to believe that Jen Mcabe did "Butt Dial" John 7 times with none of the calls going to voicemail. You'd also have to believe Boston Police Sgt. Brian Albert "Butt Dialed" ATF agent Brian Higgins AND Higgins "Butt Dialed" back!! All the infamous butt dials occurred within an hour of John's homicide. You'd have to ask what are the odds of this happening? The defense expert covered that in recent court documents. The odds of all those butt dials occurring within an hour of the murder and none of the calls going to voicemail is equivalent to winning the Powerball lottery three times in a row!!C'mom man!NBC News 10-https://bit.ly/434XcsNBoston Herald-Howie Carr- https://bit.ly/3EI9P2DAtty. In today's motions hearing for the Karen Read case, the court addressed several key issues ahead of her retrial scheduled for April. A significant development was Judge Beverly Cannone's decision to allow testimony from defense expert Richard Green. Green's analysis challenges the prosecution's timeline, suggesting that a Google search for "how long to die in the cold" was conducted at approximately 2:30 a.m., earlier than the prosecution's claim of 6:23 a.m. This discrepancy could be pivotal in establishing the sequence of events leading to the death of Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe. Additionally, the hearing focused on missing video footage from the Canton Police Department, which the defense argues is crucial evidence. The absence of this footage has raised questions about potential evidence mishandling or suppression. The court also addressed various pre-trial motions, including discussions about expert testimonies and evidentiary matters, as both sides prepare for the upcoming trial. These developments underscore the complexities of the case as it moves toward retrial. Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? As Karen Read's highly anticipated murder retrial approaches, a judge ruled Friday that there is no need for a special hearing to determine whether defense-hired cell phone expert Richard Green can testify. Norfolk Superior Court Judge Beverly Cannone made the decision after hearing arguments from both the prosecution and defense, setting the stage for a critical ruling on Green's role in the case. Read, 44, is accused of striking her boyfriend, Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe, with her SUV and leaving him to die in a snowbank on January 29, 2022, after a night of drinking. She has pleaded not guilty, claiming she is the victim of a law-enforcement cover-up and that O'Keefe was fatally beaten inside a nearby Canton home before his body was left outside. Prosecutors had pushed for a hearing to examine Green's credentials and methodology, with special prosecutor Hank Brennan arguing that Green's claims were unreliable and “lack any evidentiary support.” Defense attorney Robert Alessi pushed back, arguing that Green is qualified and used five forensic tools to reach his conclusions. Karen read-Defense attorney Robert Alessi.MP4 With Read's retrial set to begin in April, the case is once again drawing national attention. Just weeks before the retrial, Investigation Discovery will air A Body in the Snow: The Trial of Karen Read, a three-night docuseries offering “unprecedented access” to Read, her legal team, and key figures in the case. The series, which will delve into the investigation and trial proceedings, will premiere on March 17 and 18 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a one-hour finale on March 19 at 9 p.m. It will also be available to stream on Max. With tensions high and the battle over forensic evidence heating up, Read is set to return to court on April 1 as both sides prepare for a fierce legal showdown. While Cannone ruled that a special hearing was unnecessary, she has not yet decided whether Green's testimony will be allowed at trial. Green, a digital forensics expert, previously testified that Jennifer McCabe—who was with Read the night of O'Keefe's death—googled “hos long to die in cold” around 2:30 a.m. The prosecution has maintained that McCabe only made the search hours later, at Read's request, after O'Keefe's body was discovered. Green also stated that McCabe had deleted call records, a claim that could prove crucial to Read's third-party culprit defense. The prosecution also sought to block another defense expert, Dr. Marie Russell, from testifying, but Cannone rejected that effort after two lengthy hearings. Russell has testified that wounds found on O'Keefe's arm were consistent with dog bites, contradicting the prosecution's claim that he was struck by Read's vehicle. The legal wrangling over expert witnesses is far from over. On Thursday, Cannone is expected to hear arguments on whether two FBI and DOJ accident reconstructionists, Andrew Rentschler and Daniel Wolfe, can testify in Read's retrial. Rentschler previously testified that O'Keefe's injuries were not consistent with being hit by a car, a key claim that challenges the state's case against Read. Prosecutor Brennan has argued that Read's defense team will not be able to meet discovery obligations under Rule 14, citing the “history and complexity” of the experts' employment. The outcome of Thursday's hearing could have significant implications for the retrial, as the defense continues to challenge the prosecution's forensic evidence and investigative methods. Adding to the heightened public interest, Investigation Discovery is set to premiere A Body in the Snow: The Trial of Karen Read, a three-night docuseries offering behind-the-scenes access to Read, her attorneys, and key figures in the case. The series will air March 17 and 18 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a one-hour finale on March 19 at 9 p.m. It will also be available for streaming on Max. The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court's recent decision has far-reaching implications for the Karen Read case and similar trials involving digital evidence. The court upheld David Cronin Jr.'s conviction for possession of child sex abuse materials, affirming that testimony on data extracted with Cellebrite software could be admitted without the witness being an expert. Cronin's appeal rested on claims that Police Officer Michael McLaughlin, who testified on the Cellebrite report from Cronin's phone, was not qualified to do so as an expert. McLaughlin admitted he lacked technical expertise but explained that Cellebrite's software presented data in a layperson-friendly format. The court concluded that McLaughlin's testimony “required no scientific, technical, or specialized knowledge,” making it admissible as lay testimony. However, the court also found parts of his testimony, such as claims about Cellebrite's reliability, ventured into expert territory but ruled that this did not unfairly influence the trial's outcome. This decision is particularly relevant to the Karen Read case, where Cellebrite plays a pivotal role. Read, accused of causing the death of her boyfriend, John O'Keefe, is building her defense around allegations that a prosecution witness, Jennifer McCabe, conducted suspicious Google searches. According to Read's expert, Richard Green, McCabe searched phrases like “how long to die in cold” at 2:27 a.m., hours before O'Keefe's body was found. Green, who reviewed Cellebrite data from McCabe's phone, testified that the searches were in a “deleted state” and that several phone calls had been erased. However, prosecutors argue Green's findings are flawed, citing their own Cellebrite expert, Ian Whiffin, who found no evidence of such searches or deletions. Additionally, Cellebrite software updates introduced after Read's initial trial have reportedly invalidated the 2:27 a.m. timestamp central to Green's claims. Prosecutors noted that Cellebrite's new software update prevents manipulation of timestamp data and removes unreliable timestamps from Safari searches. When McCabe's phone was re-analyzed with the updated version, the searches were shown to have occurred at 6:24 a.m., closer to when O'Keefe was found, and without evidence of deletion. The defense's reliance on Green's earlier analysis has led prosecutors to file a motion to bar him from testifying, asserting that his opinions are “completely discredited” by both Cellebrite and their own expert. They argue that presenting Green's findings in court risks confusing jurors with inaccurate information. A hearing to determine the admissibility of Green's testimony is scheduled for Jan. 31, a critical juncture in Read's case as her team seeks to challenge the prosecution's narrative. This latest legal development underscores the complexities of using Cellebrite software in criminal cases. As digital forensics evolves, courts continue to grapple with how best to evaluate and admit such evidence, setting significant precedents for future trials. #DigitalForensics #KarenReadCase #Cellebrite #LegalPrecedent #Massachusetts #CourtRuling #ExpertTestimony Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? At long last, "Champions Tour Minute" leads this Monday episode, as Andy and Brendan pepper PJ with questions about his weekend at the Charles Schwab Cup Championship at Phoenix Country Club. PJ shares stories from the ground about his interactions with Richard Green and Bernhard Langer, his investigative journalism regarding the sales of Buzzballz, and explains his walk through an inflatable colon as part of the event's fan village. Andy and Brendan enjoy the reports on cart usage, including Darren Clarke's tricked-out steering wheel, and recap the incredible finish to the actual tournament. Football talk is front and center during Swag Sports Minute, as PJ ventured off to Jets at Cardinals on Sunday afternoon in Phoenix, abandoning his post at the Schwab Cup, only to leave at halftime with the Jets down 24-6. Andy's Bears aren't doing any better - Caleb Williams was sacked nine times by the lowly Patriots in another multi-score loss. Andy and Brendan then recap the Lotte Championship, which a listener actually watched at Lottie's in Chicago, before touching on Paul Waring's win at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. This episode wraps with some discussion about the World Wide Technology Championship, won by Austin Eckroat, with some Tosti Tales and a questionable disqualification handed down by the PGA Tour.
Each month we hear a faith building devotional from one of our C3 Church Global Team and Regional Directors. Our November devotional is from our ‘C3 Reach Regional Director, and Lead Pastor of C3 Ryde, Ps Richard Green. Taking us through a study of Philippians 4, Ps Richard reminds us that true leadership in the church isn't about avoiding difficult conversations or always agreeing. It's about: • Loving your congregation deeply • Finding common ground in Christ • Being both strong AND gentle Remember, it's okay to have disagreements. What matters is how we navigate them with Christ at the centre. As leaders, we're called to navigate the delicate balance between progress and joy in faith. ‘If we build people and build them well, if we value and develop people, the church will flourish.' - Richard Green Are you focusing on both progress AND joy in your faith journey? Andy and Brendan start this Monday episode riding high from big college football wins over the weekend despite a lack of NFL success on Sunday afternoon. The two begin by unpacking the SGS Leaderboard of the Year at the BMW PGA Championship overseas, with a Billy Horschel-Rory McIlroy playoff to finish off what was another great tournament on the DP World Tour. They discuss the playoff itself, Billy's winning weekend, Rory's play coming down the stretch, and whether "The Great" Manassero has what it takes to get it done on the Euro Tour. The episode then takes a slight turn towards this week's Presidents Cup, as Billy Horschel has now won yet another tournament following the selection of a U.S. team. Next, Andy and Brendan hit on Lydia Ko and the LPGA Queen City Championship, keeping her incredible season going with another win. The premier Champions Tour gambling podcast then tries to justify a poor week of picks for the PURE Insurance Championship, as Brendan put the cooler on Richard Green's hot streak, Andy didn't put in the necessary research for a win, and Producer PJ couldn't find anywhere to bet on Steven Alker in Las Vegas. After some U.S. Mid-Am talk about 2016 SEC Baseball Player of the Year Boomer White and the debut of the "Presidents Cup Fact of the Day," Andy and Brendan celebrate a true underdog story, the Ironheads finally reaching a podium after multiple upsets at the LIV Team Championship in Dallas.

In this episode of "Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski," defense attorney Bob Motta discusses the ongoing trial of Karen Read and presents his theory that John O'Keefe's death might have been an accident. Motta suggests that O'Keefe, possibly intoxicated, slipped and fell, leading to his injuries, rather than being struck by Read's vehicle. He criticizes the prosecution's reliance on the taillight theory and the overall handling of the case, including the lack of solid evidence and the performance of their expert witnesses. Motta emphasizes that the prosecution has not proven intent for second-degree murder and doubts the likelihood of a conviction. He also addresses the questionable credibility of microscopic taillight evidence and expresses skepticism about the state's case. - Bob Motta suggests John O'Keefe's death might have been an accidental slip and fall. - Criticism of the prosecution's reliance on the taillight theory. - Prosecution's expert witnesses, particularly Trooper Paul, provided unconvincing testimony. - Lack of evidence proving intent for second-degree murder. - Doubts about the credibility and significance of microscopic taillight evidence. - Emphasis on the prosecution's failure to prove their case. - Defense plans to present their own experts, including Richard Green, to challenge the state's case. ### Hashtags #KarenRead #JohnOKeefe #Trial #DefenseDiaries #HiddenKillers #BobMotta #Investigation Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE?
