Andrew Ti welcomes Team Tiger Awesome’s Nick Mundy to talk about feeling good from getting paid to write dick jokes, a recent racist incident that happened in his hometown of Houston, Texas, and to answer a white teacher’s question of engaging in a conversation with his peers involving Chris Rock’s “N-words vs. Black People” routine. Let us solve racism with your questions by calling (323) 389-RACE.

Merry Christmas! CJ and the Team Tiger Awesome crew (Nick Mundy, Clint Gage, and Michael Truly) celebrate the holidays with a watchalong of the Hulk Hogan Christmas classic *cough cough* “Santa With Muscles!” And of course this is filled with numerous side convos about Star Wars, KISS, “That 70s Show,” Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, and ideas for new TV shows. And see if you can figure out the plot of the movie by the time it’s over!
**TRULY FROM 2019** A LONG LOST EPISODE reintroduced to the feed three years later. I'm not even sure what it's about as it's only titled episode one - Olympics. Oh sure I could go back and listen but this is the very first episode from three years ago so I'm sure the audio quality would make my ears bleed. Let's see if I can remember correctly. We probably talked 'beef buddies' I think Truly wanted to fight Ryan Lochte because of honor. Seems like we would've made up some pretty great olympic sports to replace the ones we didn't like if we didn't that's a real missed opportunity. We probably had some Jericho facts in here as well.
It's a rerun this week but it's definitely a classic in that it features fan favorite THE BOY. It's time to live out your wildest fantasy... characters! It's got hot talk on all your favorite matches including a Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar match that dropped the jaws of the TTA boys. The Entrance of Bray Wyatt's fiend that might just make Mundy a fan of supernatural wrestling. And of course mention of Finn Balor's visible seam in his white wrestling Also included in these reviews are 1000 times more references to The Boss - Bruce Springsteen, late 90's heartthrobs like Breckin Meyer and Six Flags Magic Mountain rides than any other SummerSlam review is going to give you and that's a Team Tiger Awesome guarantee. Team Tiger Awesome famously devours as much print media as possible every morning and if what they find doesn't shock and dismay them, they pitch each other movies based on the headlines. Here are three such pitches: Taken, plucked and ripped from very real very current events. A violent war over a precious resource! Love at 30,000 feet! And an unlikely detective! All headlines, all ripped, all the times. Oh, and Nick hears about Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats for the first time and his mind is completely blown. It's almost charming? Tittens, we’re not going to lie to you. The boys are exhausted. Team Tiger Awesome has just wrapped production on Project Island and are currently sleeping it off. And though the boys may be back in town, and some would say let’s hear it for these very same boys, still others claim they will change from boyz to men at some point. Either way, it’s January and we’re talking about Boys of Summer here, so we’re re-airing one of our all-time favorites. www.patreon.com/TeamTigerAwesome Also, get your BRAND NEW TTA shirt and Mug @ https://teespring.com/stores/teamtigerawesome Talk to us: Twitter: @TTAwesome Instagram: Teamtigerawesome Facebook.com/Teamtigerawesome Originally aired in April of 2017, here’s our podcast boss making up some legit great sounding bands. Clint's got some good-time 70's feel goodery and secret murder mystery. Mundy assembles an asexual new-pop gender-free Orlando group. Jericho brings an artistically pure East German sound that the listener really has to earn. And Truly let's his island lifestyle envy show with a Caribbean ska ensemble. Plus Bonus Tracks: We get all the terrible band names Jericho has played under in the past before ending up in hard rocking Fozzy and we try to answer did Mr. Blues Traveler actually play the Harmonica or was it just a fatty wheeze? Plus New Genres of Music to find at your abandoned Sam Goody that's now inhabited by rats and ghosts: -Camaro/Lake Rock -Straight Orlando Soul -Island Ska -East German Techno-metal
Danielle Radford from Screen Junkies and Team Tiger Awesome’s Nick Mundy and Michael Truly join Chris Jericho for another crazy watchalong. This time it’s the 80s teen slasher flick “Sleep Away Camp 2: Unhappy Campers,” which features one of Chris’ favorite movie deaths! And like previous watchalongs, this one covers everything from Billy Corgan to Paul Stanley’s chest hair to a Jim Ross impression to Bruce Springsteen and Charlie Sheen. There are also a handful of wrestling stories from Chris’ time in Smokey Mountain Wrestling and WWE, and a couple of shoutouts to Anvil!
But not, like, a BAD clip show. It's a Patreon clip show! And even then it's only because of the babies! Damn your eyes, there are babies everywhere! Two thirds of Team Tiger Awesome have welcomed newborn Titten cubs in the last 10 days. In addition to being totes cute, these kids have thrown a real monkey wrench into the well oiled machinery of our podcast schedule. So this week, we're leaning on a tried and true trope lazy writers call "a clip show." We're dipping into our Patreon, sneaking our greedy little hands behind the paywall, and including some of the segments, bits and what-have-you's we've been doing over there. For a 3 dollar donation at patreon.com/TeamTigerAwesome, you'll get great and silly things like the smorgasbord you're hearing now, plus watchalongs and an extra Tittenbits worth of show every week. But for now, enjoy the following tomfoolery! - Truly's Dinosaurin' Episode 1, an episode by episode commentary of ABC Family's hit "Dinosaurs" - WCW Mundy Nitro, where Nick and special guest Mike Carlson quickly cede the floor to HHH and JR - Bottom's Up with a Rear Admiral, where Clint reads a proctologists memoir published in 1969 - And don't forget the Scroll of Heroes! - And some other things!
Not sure if you heard but it's the holiday season and all of our favorite holiday movies are getting terrible sequels and prequels! Or so say the crotchety old men of Team Tiger Awesome while shaking their fists in the air at passing cars. But are there some Christmas movies that just shouldn't get their own shared universe? Well, Clint Nick and Truly discuss five such films and then try their best to cash in on that sweet Hollywood cash, by pitching sequels and prequels to them. All this and the debut of our Scroll of Heroes. Celebrating the most heroic of Tittens. Did you make the scroll? Find out! It's a big day for the DVD Bunker, today's cohost is an inspiration of mine, a hilarious writer and online personality and one third of the amazing Team Tiger Awesome podcast. We are proud to welcome Nick Mundy! In a first for the show Nick brought a movie i didn't already own, two actually, we're talking about the Hot Shots! franchise. We see where these movies fall in the pantheon of parody movies and if they earn my patented "Good Buy" I will be contractually obligated to purchase them...its the law of the internet.
This week Team Tiger Awesome shares the entire pitch of a movie they developed with an actual production company and actually went out to pitch it to actual Hollywood! Caveat number 1, this was like 10 years ago. Caveat number 2, the guys still very much love this idea. So buckle up for some neon, high wasted bikinis, matching Trans Ams and a surprise appearance by a mythical mountain beast, because HERE COMES SKIQUEL! Chris Jericho went to a super-secret location in LA recently (Nick Mundy’s house) to do a watch-along of “KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park” with the Team Tiger Awesome crew. Okay, so it was just Nick Mundy and Michael Truly. Clint Gage was a no-show with very good reason as you’ll discover when Jericho reads a letter penned by Clint explaining his absence. So anyway, Jericho, Mundy & Truly watched the movie start to finish and provided running commentary, more confusion, some explanation, and tons of nonsense for your listening pleasure! And the convo was not just limited to KISS, KISS music, KISS merch, KISS acting, KISS concerts, and KISS’ absence from the first 27 minutes of the film – they also discussed Scooby Doo, wrestling, Vince McMahon, the movie's cast, and Chinese food.
It's officially a tradition! Team Tiger Awesome spends their Independence Day writing steamy fiction for the second year in a row. Thanks to audience prompts for American Historical Figures, Movie Villains and Fictional Places, the guys craft decadent smut about John D. Rockefeller, Olympic hero Mike Eruzione and John Wilkes Booth. Find out who their banging and where in this hot, hot, HOT episode of the Team Tiger Awesome Show! What if your all time favorite movies got the realistic sequels they were just begging for? Like a taut legal thriller in the world of Jurassic Park? John Mclane being treated for PTSD? Roger Rabbit 's march on Washington and the fallout of Love, Actually. Well that's what we're serving up this episode along with another 'Tales from the Trail' as Truly describes the horrifying thing he saw waving at him while driving his car this week- a singular pair of wet tighty whiteys. So white and wet they weren't even flapping in the breeze. Also, person who reads the show notes- get ready to go #TittenPrime every week with an even deeper dive into Team Tiger Awesome. Gaffes cut from the main show, additional fuck arounds and extended bits that are too weird for the main show but catnip for the ultimate Tittens who want to laugh. More info to come. We're talking brunch, y'all. This week Team Tiger Awesome aim to spice up the old tired formats of the Winter Olympiad, while still maintaining some dignity. How much food should be involved in our new Olympics? And to what meal should that food belong? Brunch probably? Listen as Destin, FL transplant Timmy Pierson tries his hand at 3 all new, all death-defying Olympic events. Also, thanks to Westwood One's crack analytics team, we discovered some of you are listening to our show on Zunes in Finland, so... what's up with that?
Spoiler alert! There are absolutely NO spoilers about Star Wars in this special Star Wars episode of TIJ! There's barely any talk about Star Wars either! What you will get are tons of hilarious, irrelevant side stories and tangents about everything from Mike Meyers to Alice Cooper to the Love Guru to Cal Ripken Jr to Eli Roth and The Polar Express. And in between the complete chaos, you might hear what TTA & Y2J THINK is gonna happen in future Star Wars movies, what they WISH would happen, and how they really feel about digital death puppets.
The guys are leaving the TTA Hole and heading back to school this week, as they discuss the pros and cons of their favorite movie schools. How do you avoid getting killed at Hogwarts? Is everybody already dead at Ridell High from Grease? What's the likelihood of dying if your'e a Teen Wolf? All of these questions are answered along with many more. Team Tiger Awesome also discusses how NOT to be an asshole during jury duty, unfortunate run-ins with court ordered psychiatrists, the shape math of 311, Steve Harvey's memo to his crew and just how old Nick thinks Team Tigers audience really is. Spoiler alert: he thinks you're 11.
It's the Second Annual Summer Movie Preview with Team Tiger Awesome, but the question remains, do ANY of this Summer's most anticipated, potential blockbusters ACTUALLY get reviewed? Odds are 50-50 that you'll hear anything useful about "The Mummy," "Spiderman," "Wonder Woman," "Alien Covenant," "Baywatch," "The War Of The Planet Of The Apes" or "Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2." But what you WILL hear is plenty of useless trivia about Kick Axe, Tom Cruise, Brendan Frasier, Margot Kidder, and the true nature of Peter Parker. There are also a couple of crazy stories involving Mickey Rourke, Mundy and The Rock, and celebrity golf with Josh Duhamel.
It's all sequels these days, dagnabbit!" Or so say the crotchety old men of Team Tiger Awesome while shaking their fists in the air at passing cars. But are there some movies that just shouldn't get sequels? Clint Nick and Truly discuss 6 such films and then try their best to cash in on that sweet Hollywood cash, by pitching sequels to them. Also, thanks to Clint being a rude boy to his guests, TTA also announces plans for Tuff Boi Rose, a delicate, balanced and tough pink wine.
Raven and Busby fondly remember the late, great Don Rickles and recount odd friend pairings (Mongo and Juvi, anyone?). Also, Raven receives vindication from the fans (and Piers Morgan) on the head transplant story from last week while Busby tries to find the weakness in Team Tiger Awesome's comedy armor. Elsewhere on the show: Mongo pounds Moet! Meng saves the day! Busby pilfers Piper's kilt! Raven casts Kristen Stewart! Also...did Raven rib Billy Jack Haynes? Was Abe Vigoda ever a child? And did Busby actually watch OAK ISLAND??? Send in your comments and questions to fanmail@theraveneffect.com and you might get your letter read on the show!
Don Callis from KILLING THE TOWN (also on the Jericho Network) joins Raven and Busby (thats Chad) on the podcast this week to chat about Busby's beef with Team Tiger Awesome, Chris Jericho's high school sports career and the genius of Keanu Reeves. Elsewhere on the show: Kenny Rogers Roasters! Gordon Solie scolds Oliver Humperdink! Don puts over (then buries) THE MAGICIANS! Also...why didn't Billy Robinson retaliate? What is Garfield's gender? And the burning question -- does Don watch OAK ISLAND??? Send in your comments and questions to fanmail@theraveneffect.com and you might get your letter read on the show!

As Clint and Truly discover Nick to be more concussed from a recent car accident than he'd been letting on, Team Tiger Awesome gets into the grizzly business of the reboot. Or are they just sequels? Either way, Home Alone is getting the dark and gritty Murder House treatment whether Macauley Culkin wants it or not. Everything from Police Academy to Philadelphia and yes, even Blade, is getting a reboot on this weeks episode. They also taste test some Crystal Pepsi, alienate the Ford Mustang driving population of our fan base and ponder a biopic of one of fast food's most iconic weirdos.
On a very special Christmas edition of the Team Tiger Awesome show: the very best Christmas icons of all time battle it out to be known as the ultimate in a knock-down, jam-fist, slug-out, ball-stomp, rip roaring, tip-tizzing bracket. The following questions are also posed and answered (albeit sometimes poorly: Is Kevin Mcallister's murder aptitude such that he could destroy a mythical being such as Santa Claus? How is Tim Allen's the Santa Clause legally binding and what precedent does it set if I slip in a walmart? Is the Grinch a terrorist? Does Mundy know his own name? A solid gold guarantee you've never heard Jim Caviezel said more times in one hour.
The Team Tiger Awesome boys get ready for Thanksgiving the only way they know how by discussing about Truly's ham licking addiction and shitting on every holiday they think is worse than Thanksgiving. The guys also fight for your right to have a mustache and not be called a pervert... even though it's probably true. And finally, they tell Mother what for!
In today's episode, Team Tiger Awesome celebrate the birth of their friend and boss, Chris Jericho. They try to figure out what to get the man who has everything and naturally, that leads to a discussion on who would be the best murderer? Would it be Clint, Truly or Mundy? You tell us! Finally, the guys discuss the best punches, ball kicks and murders in movies and television. It's a very cathartic conversation about scum-sucking bad guys in movies paying for their crimes via dick punches and has absolutely nothing to do with current events in the news.
In today's episode, Cracked.com and Last Week Tonight's Daniel O'Brien, author of the book 'How to Fight Presidents,' joins us to create our ideal fictional President of the United States. We discuss the important attributes that make a great president, including their scandals, who would play them in a movie, which band would sue them for using one of their hit songs at a rally and many more. We also do a deep dive into Daniel's podcasting wardrobe and discover that he has beef with Team Tiger Awesome.
In today's episode, Team Tiger Awesome celebrate their favorite holiday, Hanksoween. Yes, Hanksoween! That time of year where you gather with your friends, family and bosom buddies, make some strawberry margaRita Wilsons, and celebrate everything that is Tom Hanks, America's Sweetheart. We also discuss our favorite era of Tom Hanks, which of his movies are "Colin" or "Chet," and most finally, Truly has unearthed some Tom Hanks raps that he wrote for his biggest films that we can now celebrate as our new Hanksoween Carols.
Team Tiger Awesome trade in their nasty, old junk for some tasty, expensive, body-positive treasure. Mundy discovers that he's not bad at impromptu-hip-hop-cheer-rap... then quickly discovers that he's very bad at it. Then, the guys expertly breakdown the hottest villains in the genre horror and then rank them to find the very best for the singular purpose of informing you, the fans, what the scariest and sexiest costume this Hallow's Eve will be. Also, the guys get political and discuss the alarming clown problem affecting this great nation of ours and what we can do to stop them. #ClownMundy.
Team Tiger Awesome settles their beef with AJ Styles! A lot of beef has been thrown around in these first few episodes, but finally a Beef Buddy has settled the hash! Then, the guys talk about the time in their lives when they'd most like to kick their own asses. Not to be confused with the time they want Sam Beckett to Quantum Leap into to fix some stuff, we're talking about the time they want to literally beat some sense into themselves assuming time travel is a possibility. They also try out some 30 second promo spots to advertise the show on the rest of the Podcast One network. Other topics include Nick's desperate need for things to be a competition, how Monster Truck announcer voice is the same as High End Strip Club announcer voice, The Phantom Menace, frosted tips, funeral sandals, professional laser tag regret and a lot more. Well, maybe not A LOT more, but definitely SOME more. We can't list all of it here, man.
Team Tiger Awesome return to TIJ for "Who's Hot and Who's Not" and let's see if you can match the hashtag with their "hot" choices: #VerySymmetrical. #SweetArms. #SmellsLikeGarbage. #DenzelGretzky. Don't worry... the conversation digresses per usual and it won't take long for the rest of this to make complete sense: #WhatIsAChode (it's a regional thing in case you were wondering); #CocaineBang; #DrJohnsonsOpus; and #SuperDelegate.
The Team Tiger Awesome Show starring Nick Mundy, Clint Gage, and Michael Truly offers a sneak preview mini-episode to show what's coming when they officially launch Sunday, August 21, 2016.
Team Tiger Awesome - Nick Mundy, Clint Gage & Michael Truly - return to TIJ to do a Summer Movie Preview... and that means one thing - sheer ridiculousness (and possibly NO relevant information about any upcoming movies like "Captain America: Civil War," "Ghostbusters," and "Suicide Squad"). What you will get is plenty of discussion about chodes & taints, the sex symbol status of Jeff Goldblum, Superhero anatomy, Will Smith's bratty kids, dick jokes, and nearly endless debate about Mundy's mediocrity and the merits of "Weekend At Bernie's." Thank god this podcast is free or you might actually ask for your money back...
Team Tiger Awesome return to talk about one of the most anticipated superhero movies of the year, "Batman V Superman," and as you can imagine, the conversation skids off the rails pretty fast! Who played the best Batman? The best Superman? And what do they think about Ben Affleck in the cape & mask? They're breaking down the Batman voice, Superman's ultimate kryptonite, the various new superheroes rumored to be introduced in the new film, the merits of Aquaman, Michael Keaton, and Marlon Brando, and they are debating the most important question of all - does The Joker have genitals?
Team Tiger Awesome is in the house! Clint Gage, Michael Truly, and Nick Mundy - the three comic geniuses behind Y2J's new Comedy Central web series "Nothing To Report." Wanna hear how you shoot 6 episodes in 3 nights in the director's frontyard? Plus, hilarious hijinks from the set, and a true behind-the-scenes look at what it took to get it done... and the answer to this pressing question: "why isn't Nick Mundy's BFF The Rock in the series?" Hmmmmm...
Funny man Nick Mundy joins the Freshly Baked Crackers for a very special episode. Nick's new Taylor Swift/Game of Thrones mashup is discussed as well as his work on Conan, Extreme Makeover, and the film Kill Me Now . Nick also talks in depth about his comedy group Team Tiger Awesome and their upcoming Comedy Central online series "Nothing To Report" with Chris Jericho. This episode is brought to you by Wolftracks T-Shirts and Design.
The hat-wearing dudes of Team Tiger Awesome drop in for what turns out to be the most offensive episode we've ever recorded. Featuring terrible Leno impressions, a decent Bullwinkle impression, and an unshot segment from Movie 43 centered entirely around vaginas. Guests: Clint Gage (Funny or Die Presents, CollegeHumor), Nick Mundy (Conan, Happy Endings), Michael Truly (Funny or Die Presents, Cracked). Hosted by Justin Michael and Jacob Reed.
