Hear no evil. See no evil. Speak no evil. Well, we're a podcast, so no dice on that last one. On this week's episode of What They Hype?!, Micah and Laura are dodging monkeys and monitor lizards, as they dive deep into Season 3 of the hit HBO TV series, The White Lotus. Join them as they explore the intricate dynamics and relationships of the hotel's guests and its staff. Micah and Laura discuss popular fan theories around who the floating body belongs to and who (or what) pulled the trigger. Is a tsunami headed for the Ratliff family? Will politics forever divide our girls Jaclyn, Kate and Laurie? Will Rick be able to resolve his traumatic past? And how safe is Belinda after blowing up "Gary's" spot? Sophie's got a new/old guy in the mix, and it's Rick the D*ck… But he ain't no Danny. So here's the deal - Sophie's become a regular part of Rick's Wednesday night gym routine. She's like a workout accessory, except with a whole lot more moaning and groaning. This dude is all about the physicality, throwing Sophie around like a rag-doll in every position you can imagine. Talk about a full-body workout, right? Hold your horses though, because she's starting to get a little bored with his lack of creativity. But there's a twist in this tale, Sophie confronts Rick about a secret he's been keeping. Will Rick fess up to it? Part two of the Avengers Academy and the Runaways. We left on a cliffhanger where betrayal was afoot, and they were in a dinosaur dimension. What will happen? What will occur? Will Rick decide that he should somehow talk about something completely different. So last night I was in a local poker tournament. This was the final game between our club and one from across town. We had the top nine winners from both clubs playing for a little bit of money, and a whole lot of bragging rights. Guess who came in second place. Now what does that have to do with somebody getting their arm bitten off? Nothing. Not a thing. Ok, maybe we could say that I was biting off more than I could chew, but I made it farther than a lot of people....last night, that was 14 people. But I digress. Yes, I am flying high after the evening. I do not feel upset that I did not get first. That other player was much better than me. But they were cool, and we were having a great time. Actually, the entire evening was pleasant. You would think that two rival clubs would start unleashing their powers at each other, but no, we all got along well. It is nice when a group of people get together and realize that they have more in common then they realize. At first, I thought that this was going to be a very tortured metaphor. Like I was trying to pry open a dinosaurs mouth, but now that I am in the thick of it, I feel that this is a better comparison than I originally thought. Last night was about two groups of people coming together. All and all, a good night. Everyone had fun, and much mirth was had. The only shrinking that occurred was to some players chip stacks. Luckily, Dr Hank Pym was on my side and was helping enlarge my money. OK..Now I am torturing the metaphor. I should give a shout out to our host for the evening. While they did not make it to the final tournament roster (because I took them out in the league finals....sorry), they still offered the use of their garage, and cooked the dinner for the evening. His own take on a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Dang, they were very tasty. An amazing chef, a good friend, and a nice guy. And during the tournament, nobodies mother was killed by a robot, but I am sure there was one or two "Yo momma" jokes. Talking Through Warning Signs! On this episode 85 of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle joins Mark and me, as we talk through The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 3, which is titled Warning Signs. It was written by Corey Reed and directed by Dan Liu. We all loved this one and are still happy with the direction the show is going this season. Except… NO!!!! Only two episodes left for our favorite character!!! Are these warning signs for the end of Rick??? It’s hard to believe, but in just two episodes, we’ll be discussing the final episode of Rick Grimes!!! I am not looking forward to saying goodbye to my favorite character, but I appreciate knowing he’s leaving ahead of time. I know I would have been really, really upset if they had killed off his character out of the blue, much like how I was upset with a couple of deaths in Fear the Walking Dead Season 4. That said, Rick Grimes IS The Walking Dead, much more than Madison or Nick WERE Fear, so Rick’s death, assuming he dies, will be much more traumatic, even knowing about it. More Richonne Family!!! It seems doomed, but Rick wants to expand the family and have a child with Michonne. While I would love for this to happen, knowing that Rick is not long for this show makes that very bittersweet. It would be great if Rick could live on in a son or daughter, but not getting to see them together is sad. Oceanside’s Vigilante Justice!!! We learn at the end of the episode that it’s the Oceanside that’s been killing Saviors. Was Arat reformed? Did she deserve to die? In some ways, absolutely. In other ways, she appeared to be beyond her evil ways, but the Oceansiders had reasons for wanting her dead, like the rest of the Saviors involved in the deaths of their men and boys. Forcing warring factions to live together without a way for them to heal and get beyond the past is doomed to fail, and I think that’s what we’re seeing here. It’s worth mentioning that we COMPLETELY missed that Maggie and Daryl were carrying the missing ethanol at the end of the episode, even AFTER playing Steve’s message that mentions it. Oops! Note to self: Make sure you listen to voicemails BEFORE you play them!!! Move over Anne… Jadis is back!!! A or B??? We learn more about the helicopter and see that it is tied to the trading of people. So Gabriel is not a B? What’s a B? What’s an A? Do I care? I think I do, actually. I personally thought the helicopter was from the Commonwealth… remember Georgie and the twins? However, it seems fairly clear I was wrong about that, and the helicopter belongs to another group entirely. I am disappointed in Anne’s turn back to the dark side, but Gabriel should have known better. Still, I guess he had affection for her and was blinded (no pun intended) into thinking that his new girlfriend is, actually, a good person. Will Rick leave via the helicopter? We will know soon enough, but I think it’s a strong possibility. Ratings are even… As you can see from these rating and viewer charts, created by me, you’ll see that the 18-49 rating hit an all-new low at 1.93, slightly below 1.98 last week, but the total viewers were up a tad from 4.947 to 5.037 million viewers. Ratings should go up the next two episodes.

Will Rick and company negotiate the use of their weapons or has Rick decided, like Negan, that might makes right and better the thug you dont know instead of the one you do, or something like that. Nothing will stop them from finding out what could be buried on Oak Island, who concealed it there and where “X” marks the spot. This year also holds several extraordinary milestones for the Oak Island team. It's been 50 years since an article about the Money Pit appeared in Reader's Digest, which not only sparked the imaginations of the young Lagina brothers, but also compelled Dan Blankenship to devote his life to solving this great mystery. It is also the 50th anniversary of the Restall tragedy, which claimed four of the six lives lost in search of the Oak Island treasure. Will Rick, Marty and their partners unearth a vast, hidden treasure? Or like the many who have come before them, will they only find more obstacles–or worse—proof that a deadly curse really does protect Oak Island's secrets?
On this week's episode of We Talk Dead on the HMC we review The Walking Dead Season 7, Ep 707 "Sing Me a Song". After Jesus tucks and rolls out of the moving truck, Carl stays on board to venture behind enemy lines into the Saviors compound. After some some savior ass kicking, he is greeted by his ol pal Negan. Unfortunately the giant factory he's about to tour ain't Wonkaland and he gets a lot more than he bargained for -- and we get a song (thanks Carl, you are our Sunshine too). Meanwhile back at Alexandria, Rick and Aaron have gone out foraging for Negan's tribute, Rosita browbeats Eugene into making her a single bullet, Gabriel shows his loyalty to Rick as Spencer tries to recruit him for a coup and Michonne is busy building a walker road block to trap a savior. Lots going on to the lead up of the midseason finale including getting to see Carl's empty eye socket and Negan cradle Judith on the porch. Will Rick and the Gang ever be able to beat Negan? Will we ever get to see that cool tiger again? Will the gang ever be back together!? Listen up and stay tuned for our midseason finale coverage.
