I have had times where I am spending my friday nights instead of at a party or at a bar, pumping weights at the gym, and people just not getting it.” “It has been really difficult the last few months as I have my last semester in college. My friends are applying for internships and are getting jobs and building their resumes and are doing all of the things that you are suppose to do and I am asking myself if I need to be doing these things. Over the years I have accepted that its just not my path and its not where my passion resides.” “A lot of people think that to be an online entrepreneur all you have to do is post some photos of the day and you are done and that’s the easy way out. But the reality is a lot more that goes into it. [one day] I just sat there and said ‘I can’t live life like this anymore.’ It wasn’t fun, I wasn’t healthy, I wasn’t going out anymore.... and then things changed when I got into weight lifting....” “Learning to let the little things go is going to be a challenge but a worthy endeavor as it will give more time (and energy) to deal with the things that do make a difference.” “The difference between guilt and shame is powerful. Guilt is when you do something and you feel bad about the act. Shame is when you do something you feel bad about who you are about a person.... shame is what breaks us down as people... it is what prevents us from connecting and being vulnerable and opening ourselves up to others.... so separating that line and realizing that you can feel guilty but not shame has been a huge thing for me.” “My grandmother would always tell me that ‘life is not all about work and projects that it is about fun and dream time.’... to have someone who encouraged me to have fun and to do things... I really needed that in my life.” __ You can find more information about Kendall by going to: IG: @kendy_wendy Her Amazing Website: -> shemattersmvmt.org __ Join the Movement. www.thestrongerselfmovement.com And Together We Can Pursue Our #StrongerSelf __ Music by: BVRNOUT & KROMATIKS - Follow Your Heart ft. I was a people pleasure... the idea of people not liking me scared me.... I was always scared of thought of someone saying something bad about me and it really chained me down earlier in life.... then I shifted my mindset” “I was working 9 to 5, wasn’t a fan of it, and I was a consumer of social media content at work... and I was finally like ‘hey what these people do to be able to work for themselves really isn’t super miraculous and I feel as though I can do this.” “I truly believe that if you can get your mind right about something everything will come before you.” __ You can connect and find out more about what Brian is up to on IG, Twitter, FB, and YouTube via @BrianDecosta __ Join the Movement. www.thestrongerselfmovement.com And Together We Can Pursue Our #StrongerSelf __ Music by: BVRNOUT & KROMATIKS - Follow Your Heart ft.
