By giving students shorter experiences (gigternships) in various fields, they can better learn what they like and don't like. New lawyers can get gigternships while they wait to get their first job (something temp agencies don't offer!) You can get a gigternship even if you are not yet in law school! The legal profession is known as one of the hardest on a person's mental health. A person who has never suffered from anxiety in the past may very well have anxiety attacks in law school. So what happens when a person who has already been diagnosed with a mental health problem, such as bipolar depression do when they enter the legal field?
