The TNT Crimes & Consequences podcast is an absolute gem in the true crime genre. From the very first episode, I was hooked on the dynamic between hosts Tonya and Talia. Their banter, chemistry, and side comments add an extra layer of entertainment to each case they cover. The creative usage of expletives, especially by Talia, keeps the podcast edgy and authentic. It's as if they're your best friends from Michigan, sharing gruesome stories over drinks at a local bar.

What sets this podcast apart is the respectful approach Tonya and Talia take towards the victims and their families. They always make sure to honor their memories while providing listeners with all the necessary details of each case. The hosts' authenticity shines through in every episode, making them relatable and trustworthy sources for true crime information.

While some may criticize the occasional lack of preparation or proper pronunciation on the part of Tonya and Talia, I believe it adds to the organic feel of the podcast. These women are not professional broadcasters or full-time podcasters – they have careers as lawyers and families to manage alongside their passion for true crime. Despite these constraints, their episodes are never plagiarized, and they always bring something new to cases that have been covered extensively before.

In conclusion, the TNT Crimes & Consequences podcast is a must-listen for any true crime enthusiast. With their storytelling abilities, commitment to respecting victims, and genuine personalities shining through, Tonya and Talia have created a podcast that stands out from the rest. Whether you're a fan of their f-bombs or appreciate their unique perspectives on well-known cases, this podcast will keep you entertained and informed for hours on end. Keep up the great work!

In EP267, we examine the deeply unsettling case of Cary Stayner, the Yosemite Killer. On the surface, Cary seemed quiet--reserved, even overlooked. But behind that silence was a storm of inner torment, obsession, and darkness. What makes his story even more chilling is the irony: Cary Stayner, was the brother of Steven Stayner (who we discussed in EP266), a national hero who survived a childhood abduction. While the world watched one brother's trauma unfold in the headlines, the other battled invisible demons--ones that would eventually erupt in brutal violence. This is not just the story of a killer- it's the story of unresolved trauma, twisted fantasies, and the shadow legacy of a family marked by tragedy.SOURCES: 1) Sund details frantic hunt for wife, daughter: Father-husband testifies during Stayner's preliminary hearing into slayings of 3 Yosemite visitors2) CBS News: The Yosemite Murders -- in photos3)Crime Library: Cary Stayner and the Yosemite Murders4) CBS Sacramento: 25 years later: FBI agent shares how he got Cary Stayner to confess to Yosemite killings5) SF Gate: Overshadowed All His Life / Low-key Cary Stayner took back seat to kidnapped brother6) 20/20 Episode: Evil in Eden
