The Your Sorority Journey podcast is a fantastic resource for anyone involved in the sorority community. Cassie, the host, has a genuine passion for helping women make the most of their sorority experiences and her episodes address a range of topics that are relatable and helpful. As a leader in my own sorority, I have found this podcast to be incredibly inspiring and informative. Each episode seems to address exactly what I have been struggling with that week, and it has helped guide me to become the best woman, sister, friend, and leader that I can be. This podcast has reignited my passion for my sorority and pushed me to grow beyond what I thought was possible.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is how relatable it is. Cassie does an excellent job of bringing on guests who share their personal experiences and insights, making each episode feel grounded and relevant. The conversations are diverse and cover various aspects of the sorority journey, from joining as a new member to navigating leadership roles to life as an alumnae. It's refreshing to hear real stories from real women who have gone through similar experiences.

Another great aspect of this podcast is Cassie's ability to inspire others. Her heart is clearly devoted to empowering women in the sorority community, whether they are considering joining or already involved in leadership roles. She shares her expertise and provides guidance that can be applied both within and outside of a sorority context. It's clear that she genuinely wants all women to get the most out of their sorority experiences.

On the downside, there isn't much negative feedback about this podcast. There isn't anything specifically negative about this podcast. Some listeners might prefer more structured or scripted episodes rather than casual conversations, but that comes down to personal preference.

In conclusion, The Your Sorority Journey podcast is an amazing resource for anyone involved in or interested in the sorority community. Cassie's passion, relatability, and ability to inspire make each episode engaging and informative. Whether you're a current member or an alumnae, this podcast has something valuable to offer. So let's talk about how instead of comparing yourself to one another or treating a sister like your competition, you can be proud of who you are and who she is, too. CURRENT OFFICERS: Let's go back in time for a moment. You've just been elected into your officer role and you're sitting in your scheduled officer transitions meeting. How did you feel leaving that meeting? Overwhelmed? Stressed? More questions than you started with? This is an all too common experience with our newly elected officers. It's time we break the cycle by reflecting intentionally, understanding what was accomplished, and breaking down what you actually do to be communicated to others BEFORE your successor is even elected. Knowing how things went, what works well, and the areas of your position that have room to grow can shape how you communicate what is needed for the role with interested sister & the chapter in elections!

In this episode, Emily & I discuss the necessary role that calling out strengths we see in our sisters plays in the effectiveness of our elections. We cannot assume that sisters will just apply for positions or be passionate about opportunities to contribute to the chapter. As current officers with influence in the chapter, it is our responsibility to empower emerging leaders in their skillset with a suggestion of where those skills will be best suited in the chapter. Be sure to listen to our insight on how to go about these conversations with your future leaders! You have more influence in the direction of your chapter after your term ends than you might think

It is either highly sought after to have the experience living with sisters in your facility or members are finding every potential opportunity to be excused from the live-in requirement. Let's talk about how starting this year, you can change the narrative around the live in experience to excite and incentivize future sisters to be a part of this special element of sorority. We invited Lindsey Clemensen, Her Sorority Journey's previous executive assistant and current regional property manager for Tri Delta (also one of Cassie's besties), on the podcast to share nuances of the housing experience from a national organization's vantage point and steps you can take as a member or officer to revitalize living in!
