It's sometimes nice to see "new people" being put in the main event, but not this time. Balls Mahoney ends up going one-on-one with Rob Van Dam to close the show and it was NOT GOOD. A SHOULD BE main event ECW Title match is actually near the middle of the card. It also goes from Taz defending against Masato Tanaka to a Three Way Dance when Mike Awesome gets involved...AND WINS! This will open the door to a HUGE controversy for ECW that involves WCW and the WWF as Taz is on his way out and, unbeknownst to anyone, so is Mike Awesome. On September 19th, 1999 ECW blew the hinges off of the doors at the Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park, Illinois!
