The political context was November and the U.S. Senate race: pressure on Jews uneasy about Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, and tempted by Republican Mike Rogers. El-Sayed's Israel record, and his “hurt people hurt people” line after the March 2026 terrorist attack on Temple Israel outside Detroit, already alarmed many Jewish Democrats.Nessel went further. Invoking Queen Esther, she suggested Jews may have to “sacrifice the comfort, safety and security and even the very future of our own people” to save humanity. She asked what good it is to defend Israel “if the planet upon which it rests is no longer inhabitable,” then: “Come November, what do your Jewish values tell you to do?”Esther risked herself to save the Jewish people. She did not risk the Jewish people to keep a party coalition intact.For too many Jews, Democratic affiliation has replaced Judaism as a civilization - Torah, peoplehood, history, Eretz Yisrael, continuity - with a universalist politics branded as tikkun olam. Caring for humanity is Jewish. Sacrificing Jewish survival is not. It seems impossible that there could be an ignored elephant at a Republican Midterm Convention. But there was nary a word from the main stage yesterday about the threat that is increasingly evident in the state of Texas and across the land. That's even more bizarre given the GOP's political opposition is directly intensifying that threat by the Democrats' embrace of sharia-supremacism promoted by the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as its Democratic Socialist allies. The impact of Charlie Kirk's murder one year ago today, is evident in the GOP convention's silence thus far on what he identified as the mortal threat of our time – namely, “Islam is not compatible with Western civilization.” The Republican convention has another chance today to make the choice of freedom over slavery at the hands of the Red- Green axis a voting issue this fall. It's truly providential that this week's Republican Midterm Convention is being held on the eve of 9/11's 25th anniversary and in Dallas, a metroplex sharia-supremacists have assiduously targeted ever since.                 It's a perfect time and place for Republican leaders nationwide to stand for freedom and oppose the enslavement Democrats' jihadists and their Marxist allies have in mind for all of us. Some, however, want the GOP to stay silent on sharia to court Muslim votes and money.                                  That's a delusional formula for: patriotic voters staying home; a Democrat blow-out in the midterms; and a further emboldening of the Red-Green axis to believe they'll succeed in taking down our country, guaranteeing a redoubling of their efforts. Thanks to the tenacious leadership of two members of the Texas State Board of Education, schools across the country will teach freedom, instead of the agenda of the Red-Green axis.  In recent months, Julie Pickren and Brandon Hall helped stave off successive efforts by teachers unions and other radical leftists and their sharia-supremacist allies to require not only Texan students, but those in more than 20 other states, to be subjected to anti-American social studies curriculums, instead. Yesterday, a bipartisan majority of the U.S. House of Representatives adopted a resolution denouncing socialism in all its forms, including the so-called “Democratic Socialists of America.” As it happens, the House vote coincided with the release of a letter sent to President Trump by nearly fifty legislators and leaders of patriotic grassroots organizations. The signatories observed that DSA Communists are not the only enemy within we now confront. The radical left is actively collaborating with sharia-supremacists in what might be called “election jihad.” The common program of this metastasizing “Red-Green axis” is to destroy our constitutional Republic and enslave its people. So, our letter calls on Mr. Trump and the Republican Party to use their Midterm Convention next week in Dallas to offer voters a defining, national and winning choice of “freedom over slavery” in this fall's elections. Although a Marxist-jihadist is the mayor of New York City, another is Michigan Democrats' candidate for the U.S. Senate and the communist Democratic Socialists of America and Muslim Brotherhood's CAIR are clearly partnering, we're being told there's no such thing as the “Red-Green axis.”  In fact, despite differences over who ultimately will run the world, the radical left and sharia-supremacists share an immediate objective: Destroying the United States that stands in their way, from within and as quickly as possible. Today, a country that shouldn't actually be in NATO will be hosting its summit. The cause of freedom was advanced last week in Texas. In the course of five exhausting days of public testimony, line-by-line deliberations and voting, that state's top educational board approved pro-American, pro-freedom required reading lists, curriculums and standards.  In what can only be described as non-kinetic trench warfare, a majority of the Texas State Board of Education, led by two of its most valiant patriots, Julie Pickren and Brandon Hall,   worked through hundreds of amendments offered by Democratic members that would have restored cultural Marxist and sharia-supremacist indoctrination in that state – and some twenty others whose schools track with Texan textbooks. The Red-Green axis is particularly incensed that the SBOE has directed the inclusion of the Bible in public pedagogy for the first time since the 1960s. Let's pray this important corrective survives the inevitable court challenges and other skullduggery.  This is Frank Gaffney.

A new force is evident in electoral politics in America. It's the Red-Green axis and its implications for the country are ominous.  The axis is personified by Zorhan Mamdani, who won the New York City mayor's race last year.  Of particular concern in this year's election cycle are the combined efforts of Democratic Socialists of America and Muslim Brotherhood front groups putting boots on the ground, bloc-voting and bringing financial and political muscle to bear.  The result has been the election of radical leftists, some of whom are sharia-supremacist Muslims, as the Democratic nominees in various races across the country, including ones that effectively assure they will win in November.
