Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) joins me to recap the Q2 financial results from the Las Chispas Mine in Mexico. The discussion covers the Company's record revenues of US$72 million and mine operating earnings of $41.5 million, noting a 51% operating margin. We delve into the impact of the generally higher silver prices, the deferred tax assets in Mexican pesos, and the significant difference between net earnings and free cash flow. We also discuss the strategy of balancing cash and bullion holdings, with treasury assets increasing by 34% to $122 million and subsequent to the end of Q2 $7.6million worth of bullion was purchased. Moreover, the discussion highlights shareholder sentiments, and future guidance improvements in terms of mining rates and cost efficiencies. Chris provides clarity on potential M&A activities and elaborates on SilverCrest's capital flexibility and opportunities. Click here to visit the SilverCrest Metals website.
Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) joins us to discuss the Company's position in the silver industry, its high-margin status at the Las Chispas mine, and the broader implications of rising silver prices for producing companies. With silver back over $31 /oz, we discuss how this impacts operating margins across the sector and what investors can expect in the coming quarters. Chris provides insights into SilverCrest's strategy of holding metals, managing inflation impacts, and the balance between expanding organically versus investing in new projects. Additionally, we touch on the potential growth from exploration and regional opportunities, as well as the implications of the recent Mexican elections on mining investments. Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals ("SilverCrest" or the "Company") (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) joins us to recap the Q4 and year-end financial results from the Las Chispas Mine, in Mexico, released on March 11th. The Company beat guidance on 2023 sales and all-in sustaining costs ("AISC") as well as an increase of $54.4million in treasury assets. We have Chris share his thoughts on the pop in share price on the back of the financial results and ask about a possible short squeeze. We then focus on the balance sheet strength, with treasury assets of $105.2 million ($86.0 million cash and $19.2 million in bullion). We ask how the Company will manage the cash and build bullion on the balance sheet. The Company is committed to building the bullion holdings and leading the sector and other producers to do this as well. Since costs are such a focus for investors in the sector we focus on the AISC, reported at $12.58 per oz AgEq sold which beat the low end of the 2023 guidance range of $12.75 to $13.75 per oz AgEq sold. As costs are rising industry wide we focus on the 2024 guidance and how the Company is controlling cost increases. We wrap up with a comment on the exploration plans for this year at the Las Chispas Project. Also listen to the prior interview with Chris where we focused on the 2024 guidance - click here to listen. Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals ("SilverCrest" or the "Company") (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) joins me to discuss the Company's 2024 guidance on silver and gold production, costs and exploration. See the table below, from the February 20th news release, that details the guidance ranges for this year at the Company's Las Chispas Project in Mexico. I ask Chris how the costs, on the all-in sustaining cost (AISC) front, compare to the numbers outlined in the Company's Technical Report, released last year. I also have Chris compare the costs across the silver producers. We discuss how the Company is working to control costs throughout this year and into next year. On the growth front I ask about the ongoing underground development and exploration budget of between $12-14million for the year. We all know costs have continued to rise throughout the entire mining sector. Chris outlines how SilverCrest is focused on the balance sheet, continuing to hold bullion and separating itself from the other higher cost silver producers. If you have any follow up questions for Chris please email me at Fleck@kereport.com. Click here to visit the SilverCrest Metals website to learn more about his silver producer. Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals ("SilverCrest" or the "Company") (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) joins me to recap a volatile 2023 and look ahead to 2024. The Company is exiting 2023 with a mine that is in operation, generating positive cash-flow, cash and bullion on the balance sheet of around $100million and no debt. Chris recaps the year by discussing the technical report release mid-year and the Company growing its gold and silver bullion holdings. When looking ahead to 2024 we start with the production at the Las Chispas Mine in Mexico. We discuss if there are any major changes to the mine operations and cash-flow for the Company in the new year. We also focus on the holding of gold and silver bullion. Chris outlines a number of reasons why he thinks other mining companies should hold bullion as well. For 2024 guidance we discuss the share buy back plans and exploration. Since many of you keep emailing me asking about potential acquisitions of other projects I ask Chris what the Company is looking for in an asset and overall market conditions. Please keep emailing me your questions for Chris. My email address is Fleck@kereport.com. Click here to visit the SilverCrest website and read over the Company's corporate presentation.
Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) ("SilverCrest" and the "Company") joined me to recap the Company's Q3 financial results at the Las Chispas Mine in Mexico. Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) joins us to recap the November 29th new release announcing the restructuring of the Company's debt package. As Chris outlines, this new debt package lowers the overall interest rate and provides more financial flexibility to repay or draw on the debt. We also discuss a couple bigger picture items including a possible GDX inclusion, the short position in the stock and the shift in the types of investors coming into the stock now that commercial production has been declared. There was also news released on November 30th outlining the release of the the Company's inaugural Task Force for Climate Related Financial Discloser and Water Stewardship Reports. This was all about ESG. If you have any follow up questions for Chris please email us at Fleck@kereport.com and Shad@kereport.com. Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) joins us to recap the news today declaring commercial production at the Las Chispas Project in Mexico. In under 7 years the Company went from discovery to commercial production. Even more impressive in this market is the mine was built on budget and on time. After recapping what it means to declare commercial production we discuss how this could help the Company renegotiate its current debt facility and options to pay down the debt. We also focus on where Chris sees possible buying coming into the stock. A possible inclusion into GDX, short covering and simple demand for a profitable silver miner are all areas we discuss. If you have any follow up questions for Chris please email us at Fleck@kereport.com and Shad@kereport.com. Click here to visit the SilverCrest Metals website and read over the recent news.
Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) joins us to provide a production update now that the Las Chipas Mine is producing silver. We focus on when the Company expects to declare commercial production. The Production conversation ties into a discussion on the current environment for development companies. There is an interesting chart Chris shares information on, outlining the lack of cap ex spending compared to GDP. If you have any follow up questions for Chris please email us at Fleck@kereport.com and Shad@kereport.com. Click here to learn more about SilverCrest Metals. Chris Ritchie, President of SilverCrest Metals (TSX:SIL - NYSE:SILV) joins me to discuss the macro environment for silver companies and provide an operations update from the Las Chispas Mine. Starting with macro silver comments we look at the gold to silver ratio which is at a historic extreme of 95:1. This ties into a discussion on margins that have now been compressed with inflation impacting costs and the silver price below $20. When looking at the supply side of the silver market I ask Chris where new supply will come from. This focuses on the balance between M&A and development companies both of which have been slow moving. On the SilverCrest front, Chris provides an operational update. We discuss the wrap up to commercial production as well as the possibility the Company will hold silver rather than immediately sell the silver and hold cash. This would be a unique move by a silver producer. If you have any follow up questions for Chris please email me at Fleck@kereport.com.
Our guest this week is our former hooker Chris Ritchie. Chris played back row all through his time at Swansea University, where he captained them and the Welsh Universities. He went on to play for Oxford University for one season, before settling down to play for Rosslyn Park whilst earning his keep in Insurance. A couple of years into his senior rugby career, he switched to hooker where he played for the rest of his playing days. Adrian Davies convinced Chris to come across the A316 to London Welsh to play at Level 2 where he became a firm favourite with the Supporters and players at the club. 143 appearances later during 6 eventful seasons he then retired, only to go on and play another 100 games for Rosslyn Park. Chris keeps in terrific shape through cycling challenges and loved reminiscing about his time at London Welsh and Rosslyn Park. Two great clubs. Enjoy

The netlabel is jointly run by Brandon Dinsmore (US) "Rounder" and Chris Ritchie (UK) "sickmoth", "i have a box" and also showcases the collaborative Project Emotronic and more. They are pleased to accept mp3 demos by email. If you want to become part of Bubblectro, just send them a sample of your work, any relevant links, and a short summary of who you are and what you do, to Bubblectro. As the site and label are launched, there are five artists and, crucially, all the music is free. As we aim to present to you a diverse and eclectic, electric and essential offering, we want you to spend some time here and follow us on a journey in which we hope to uncover many new talents for you. In a few months time, we will start charging for music downloads - artists should be rewarded for their time and effort, and expertise, but we’re not going to be asking for much. Each artist will set their own fee, and terms - no money will go to the label. That way you know you’re supporting the artist whose music you enjoy. Aural Lab - Bad Things Aural Lab is the collaborative project of Nathan Shaffer (Hyoscene), Chris Ritchie (sickmoth/i have a box) and Frances Montignani. Through a mutual passion for moody and atmospheric music, Nathan and Chris have been producing their particular blend of rocktronica for three years, sharing musical and vocal duties but have never worked together in the same studio. Frances is the new addition to the Aural Lab set-up, adding an extra layer of beauty to the moody and melodic stories told here. cerBIc - Hongu cerBIc is Tommy Smurthwaite, who has been making many forms of music for many years, beginning as a young teenager with two tape recorders, to playing lead guitar in a crusty dub-rock band and more recently singing and playing bass in an alternative-punk outfit. But it's electronica that's been consistent through all this, initially inspired by the dance supergroups of the early nineties, leading to an interest in anything breakbeat, electro and more recently more obscure Warp type acts. There's a basic ambition to make music that's pleasurable and interesting to listen to, but when experienced live, this becomes more intense something to dance and have fun to. AstroLogical - Mother Nature AstroLogical hails from Vancouver delivering stylish grooves and chilled beats. His Living Fossils EP is a magnificent work of mood science and post-club chillout euphoria. We are sure that you will approve. i have a box - Weed i have a box is Chris Ritchie's main solo project, taking over from his previous long stint as sickmoth. In that guise he produced music that fell somewhere between random and chaotic, but always with an ear for constant progression and musical money shots. In i have a box the sound becomes more mellow, blending live instrument performance with sequenced programming, for an overall warm sound with tunes that defy categorisation but keep the listener entertained. Rounder - Mystic Rounder has been making sonic dreamscapes for several years and, with this new EP, promises to serve up some luscious and nostalgic imagery with signature rhythms and melodies done the way only Rounder can do them. Working with the concept of a hot summer afternoon, a dilapidated swimming pool, and open fields of clover, Rounder will take you on a trip through that feeling we all call "Summer". We are sure that you will approve.
