Min 4: EL SIMPATIZANTE (HBO MAX) A punto de convertirse en “Max” a secas, HBO sigue sorprendiendo con apuestas potentes y de alto presupuesto como la recién llegada “El simpatizante”. Como ha demostrado con “El Régimen”, esta plataforma se atreve con propuestas arriesgadas que mezclan géneros dispares y un humor negro y sesudO que les puede alejar del seriéfilo medio. Además de su trama, a caballo entre el thriller de espionaje y la comedia, “El simpatizante” cuenta con el gran aval de ver al recién oscarizado Robert Downey Jr dar otra lección de interpretación múltiple. Min 13: PERVERSO (Prime Video) Otra de las apuestas españolas de la temporada también apuesta por el thriller y puede recordar en su premisa a clásicos como “El Silencio de los Corderos”. Concebida como un spin off de “Parot”, Iván (Lecter) Massagué lleva el peso de una serie que sigue la pista a un secuestrador compulsivo y reprimido que va a la caza de jóvenes ricos y atractivos, a los que la vida les ha ido rodada. Min 23: ANTRACITA (Netflix) Contra todo pronóstico, sin tener una campaña publicitaria agresiva, sin ser uno de los títulos más esperados, este thriller francés con trasfondo satánico, gente desaparecida y una joven intrépida con ganas de descubrir la verdad, se ha disparado a lo más alto de las listas de esta plataforma. Min 30: MI RENO DE PELUCHE (Netflix) Pero aún más sorpresivo es lo que ha pasado con la negrísima y surrealista comedia británica que en mitad de la semana le ha hecho el sorpasso a la mencionada “Antracita”. El cómico y director Richard Gaad se ha metido a los suscriptores de Netflix en el bolsillo con una miniserie de siete episodios en la que algunas de las situaciones disparatadas que plantea se basan en episodios reales de su vida. Tras la nota tibia que le dimos a RAMIN DJAWADI por su composición fría y contenida para EL PROBLEMA DE LOS TRES CUERPOS, el examen de recuperación para el músico estelar de JUEGO DE TRONOS no tendrá que esperar a la segunda temporada de la CASA DEL DRAGÓN. Djawadi se ha sacado la espinita mucho antes con la serie futurista y jugona que está embaucando a millones de gamers estos días. Min 5: RIPLEY (Netflix) La potente novedad que acaba de estrenar Netflix es una revisión de la exitosa novela de Patricia Highsmith y de la aclamada película “El Talento de Mr. Ripley” (1999) que ha dejado loca a Raquel Hernández. Min 13: COLLIN FARREL EN “SUGAR” (Apple TV) 'Sugar', es la apuesta de Apple TV que convierte en detective vintage y atormentado a Colin Farrell. Un producto de alta calidad con elegantes referencias cinéfilas y con una propuesta narrativa que sale del clasicismo de Ripley para sorprenden al espectador con su variedad de estilos y formatos. Min 20: “MUERTOS SL”, humor negro con sello Alfa Los exitosos hermanos Caballero, creadores de “Machos Alfa”, convierten en protagonista al chanante Carlos Areces y descorren la cortina de una funeraria para apostar por un humor tan negro como patrio. En el “Filtro Rachel• la semana viene fuerte y nos queda conocer las puntuaciones de nuestra experta. El creador de la prolífica y brillante banda sonora de “Juego de Tronos” y de “La Casa del Dragón”, Ramin Djawadi, ya nos demostró otro registro más áspero y metálico en WESTWORLD y es el hombre en la sombra de la serie más vista del momento. After interning for Hans Zimmer at Remote Control Productions and assisting Ramin Jawadi, Brandon offers us a unique insight into the day to day experience of a composer working across the mediums of film, tv and video games in 2023... Brandon Campbell is an American music composer for film, TV and video games and is best known for his music contributions to TV series' like Game of Thrones and Person of Interest and movies such as The Thinning and The Great Wall. After graduating from the University of Rochester he interned at Hans Zimmer's studio, Remote Control Productions and later served as an assistant to Ramin Djawadi. Campbell ventured off on his own in with the film Where Love Found Me, and later that year wrote the music for the thriller The Thinning. As an additional composer Campbell has written music for TV shows, films and video games like Breakout Kings (2011–2012), Medal of Honor: Warfighter (2012), The House of Magic (2013), Person of Interest (2011–2016), The Strain (2014–2017), Dracula Untold (2014), Warcraft (2016), Gears of War 4 (2016), Prison Break (2005–2017), A Wrinkle in Time (2018), The Ravine (2021) and Eternals (2021). In 2018, Campbell composed the score for the drama-comedy Funny Story. He co-composed the score for the film Slender Man with Ramin Djawadi, created additional music for Gears 5 and co-composed the second episode of Apple TV+'s series Amazing Stories with Djawadi. Campbell is also composing music for Netflix's The Letter for the King. He also scored music for Pacific Rim: The Black, the anime series based on Pacific Rim and Pacific Rim: Uprising. Campbell co-composed music for the Amazon Games video game New World and the Square Enix video game The Diofield Chronicle with Djawadi. Campbell received an Daytime Emmy Award in 2021 for Music Direction and Composition for a Drama Series for NETFLIX's The Letter for the King.
