All sorts of cybersecurity disciplines are adopting agents to help humans save time and automate routine activities. Sai Kiran Uppu describes his work on creating a platform for agents to analyze external threat intel, examine internal systems, and present triage decisions to operators. This type of work is especially useful to orgs that deal with petabytes of data and thousands of systems. And, as Kiran notes, it's important to keep that scale from blowing up your budget or turning triage into a procession of false positives. Ideally, this kind of threat intel that's paying attention to attack trends and searching internal systems for evidence of compromise also turns into proactive defenses. We talk about some of the ways to engage developers to improve security visibility into their services and harden their designs against common attacks. After that discussion we're running two sponsored interviews from Black Hat. AI Pentesting and the Future of Cybersecurity: Black Hat interview with Chris Wallis, Founder and CEO of Intruder This segment discusses how AI addresses the long-standing gap between traditional pentesting and automated vulnerability scanning. Intruder CEO and founder Chris Wallis dives into the nuances of AI-enabled security and how these offerings will impact mid-market security teams. How Menlo Security Is Securing AI Agents from Prompt Injection: Black Hat Interview with Ramin Farassat, Chief Product Officer of Menlo Enterprises are deploying AI agents like Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and Claude Code faster than they can secure them, and attackers are exploiting that gap through prompt injection. Hidden instructions get buried in web pages, files, and even images that a human would never notice but an AI agent reads and acts on. Menlo Security is building Menlo Agent Runtime Security (MARS) to close that gap, running every agent session in an isolated cloud that sanitizes content before an agent can act on it. Ramin Farassat, Menlo Security's Chief Product Officer, will discuss why the exposure lives in the connectors and integrations around the model rather than the model itself, and how security teams can put controls on the agent attack surface without blocking agentic AI outright. Liquid AI co-founder and CEO Ramin Hasani joins Nathan to make a technically grounded case against the idea that scale alone defines the future of AI. Drawing on Liquid's path from MIT CSAIL work on liquid time-constant networks to Automated Foundation Model Design, he explains why efficient, hardware-aware architectures can look very different from frontier-scale attention models. The conversation centers on device-native foundation models for phones, laptops, cars, and wearables, including Liquid's open-weight LFM family and production deployments at Shopify and Mercedes-Benz. The stakes are whether useful intelligence can move beyond the data center into local, privacy-sensitive, low-latency applications—and which model and chip companies will own that on-device intelligence layer. Interview with Daniel dos Santos: Post-Quantum Cryptography and the Risks No One Is Talking About Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) is quickly shifting from theory to inevitability. In this segment, Daniel dos Santos, VP of Research at Forescout, explains why PQC isn't the most immediate threat today—but still demands early attention as standards solidify and timelines accelerate. The discussion highlights overlooked risks beyond encrypted traffic, including digital signatures, firmware integrity, and blockchain systems. Daniel also emphasizes the real challenge: migration. While client-side adoption is already underway, organizations face major hurdles identifying and upgrading servers, legacy systems, and unmanaged assets like IoT and OT. The bottom line: PQC migration is unavoidable. Starting early—especially with crypto inventory and planning—will make the transition far less painful. RSAC Interview: Multi-Channel Impersonation: Why Legacy Controls Are Failing As social engineering expands past just email to include text messages, chat apps, social platforms, and live video calls, traditional point solutions are struggling to keep up. In this segment, Bobby Ford explains how AI-powered impersonation and deepfake-enabled campaigns are exposing critical gaps in legacy defenses, and why organizations must evolve toward a unified social engineering defense platform that connects Digital Risk Management and Human Risk Management. He'll outline what modern security programs need: real-time cross-channel visibility, behavior-driven detection, and strategies designed around how people actually communicate and make decisions today. Visit https://securityweekly.com/doppelrsac to learn how Doppel helps organizations defend against AI-powered impersonation, phishing, and multi-channel social engineering threats with a modern Human Risk Management approach. RSAC Interview: OT: Segmented Today, Breached Tomorrow As the worlds of IT and OT converge, traditional network segmentation falls short, exposing risks in the critical environments that keep energy flowing and shelves stocked. Conventional security tools fail to identify these gaps, with serious repercussions for operators. At runZero, we empower defenders to win by default through comprehensive discovery, rapid detection of critical exposures, and unique segmentation analysis that does not depend on span ports, credentials, or on-device agents. runZero provides real-time insights into even the most sensitive environments — quickly, safely, and securely. RSAC Interview: Securing the Next Billion Users: Why the Browser is the Front Line for Agentic AI The enterprise is facing a fundamental shift: the next billion knowledge workers will not be human, they will be AI agents. While these agents offer exponential productivity, they operate at machine speed without human guardrails like MFA or skepticism, creating a massive security blind spot. Ramin Farassat discusses the "Agentic Paradox" and how a new approach to browser security is required to provide architectural immunity for the modern, hybrid workforce of both humans and agents. This session explores what Phishing 3.0 really means for security leaders—and why defending trust now requires a fundamentally new approach. This segment is sponsored by IRONSCALES. In Acts 7, Stephen stands before the Sanhedrin under intense pressure and opposition. Instead of defending himself, he tells the bigger story of what God has been doing all along. From Abraham to Joseph to Moses, Stephen reveals a vast panorama of God's grace and shows how every part of the story points to Jesus. In this message, we see that following Jesus does not remove pressure. Sometimes it increases it. But the invitation of the Spirit is to become the kind of people who keep their eyes on Jesus even in the middle of it. Stephen's life shows that God meets us in the trial, reveals His glory in the struggle, and empowers ordinary people to remain faithful no matter the cost.Even when the world pushes back, heaven is not closed. Jesus is near, the Spirit is present, and God is still writing a story of redemption that is far bigger than what we can see.

Hi friends! This week we are joined by the charming Ahmad Saber to talk about his new book Ramin Abbas Has MAJOR Questions coming out this week! We're talk about the complications with being queer and Muslim, Catholic and a fan of the Tony wining broadway show WICKED! And much more! Theme by Man with Roses Book description below: Ramin Abbas has spent his whole life obeying his parents, his Imam, and, of course, Allah—no questions asked. But when he starts crushing on the ridiculously handsome captain of the soccer team, so many things he'd always been so sure about are becoming questions: 1. Music is haram. But what if the Wicked soundtrack is the only thing keeping you sane because you're being forced to play on the soccer team? With Captain Handsome?! 2. A boy crush is double haram, and Ramin's parents will never accept it. But can he really be the only Muslim on Earth who feels this way? 3. Allah is merciful and makes no mistakes. Then isn't Ramin just the way Allah intended him to be? And so why should living your truth but losing everything—or living a lie and losing yourself—have to be a choice?!
