In this week's first segment, Don Williams talks about riding the new Verge TS Pro. There are several areas where this bike is unusual, not least its looks. But its claimed torque output of 738 ft/lbs is such a ludicrous-sounding number it raises a bunch of questions. The Flat Tops Adventure Trail is a 298 mile overland route in northern Colorado that was developed by Overland Trail Guides.  While lesser known than the San Juan Mountains to the south, the Flat Tops certainly aren't lacking in impressiveness or grandeur. Former Purdue dual sport athlete Jermaine Ross celebrates his 52nd birthday with us (April 27, 2023). Ross, who was recruited to Purdue on a track scholarship from his hometown of Jeffersonville, Indiana in 1990, walked on the football team under coach Fred Akers and ended up having a four-year career in the NFL with the Los Angeles and St. Louis Rams. Ross, not surprisingly, the fastest player on the team, turned into a big play receiver for for the Boilermakers leading the Big Ten in yards per reception in the 1992 season with a 22.3 average.

Kim Levinsky has one of the most unique running-related stories and lives that we've every learned about on the Rambling Runner Podcast. How to be an Olympic gold medal winner and a dual sport athlete with Kaleigh Gilchrist Kaleigh Gilchrist is a dual sport athlete in surfing and water polo from Newport Beach, California. She competed on the gold medal-winning US Women's Olympic Team at the 2016 Summer Olympics contributing 6 goals. In high school, she was part of the CIF-winning water polo team during the 2008 season.
