Sheila Houlahan is an Indian-American actor, singer, producer and writer. Houlahan can be seen in supporting role Paige Callahan in Warner Bros. feature film “The Little Things”, written and directed by John Lee Hancock and starring Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto. The film premiered on HBO Max January 29th, 2021. She is available for interview regarding the project. Sheila Houlahan is the executive producer and showrunner for a new hybrid feature film adaptation of Marsha Norman's Pulitzer prize-winning play Night, Mother, a show that details concentric circles of grief, isolation and suicide. The film screened exclusively on Twitch, and utilized Twitch's innovative platform for live performance interwoven throughout the film. Houlahan played the role of Jesse in the production, with award-winning actress Ellen McLain as Thelma/Mother. John Patrick Lowrie directed the project, with rising-star cinematographer Trevor Roach at the helm of creating a truly innovative visual storytelling methodology. Legendary photographer Eli Reed handled the still photography for the production. The adaptation is set on Zoom during the COVID-19 pandemic and highlights the isolation and mental health crisis generated by a world forced to remain in lockdown for over a year. Houlahan's goal with the project is to use it as a platform to discuss the impending mental health crisis that has already began to plague people around the world from living in chronic isolation. She hopes that this film can be a gentle reminder that nobody is truly alone, despite how we may feel, and that it will take a collective spirit of grace to get through the trauma of COVID-19 together. Pour fêter ça, j'ai décidé de sortir un nouveau bonus pour la saga, à savoir une chanson ! À l'origine, il s'agit d'une adaptation d'une chanson qui avait été écrite pour le jeu original mais elle n'a jamais été utilisée. Elle a été composée et chantée par Ellen McLain, la voix originale de GLaDOS, et John Patrick Lowrie qui est à la guitare. La chanson raconte le point de vue de GLaDOS sur le départ de Chell. C'est une chanson assez douce et émotionnelle contrairement à Still Alive et Want You Gone, qui montre quelques messages sarcastiques dans les paroles. C'était un petit challenge pour moi car je n'ai pas l'habitude de chanter des chansons comme ça. J'ai dû réenregistrer au moins 4 fois pour être à peu près satisfaite de ma prestation. Le mixage en soit n'était pas très long vu que je suis toute seule à chanter et qu'il n'y a pas d'harmonie en fond. Je suis assez contente du résultat et ça change un peu de ce que j'ai pu vous proposer comme bonus pour cette saga. :) J'ai plusieurs personnes à remercier pour ce bonus. Hi, welcome, howdy, thanks for checking out Episode 1 of the show with no name yet!! More on that later. I'm Emily Reese, and I'm happy you're along for the ride! Sam Keenan and I started a podcast together at Minnesota Public Radio called Top Score. We loved working on that show and miss it very much! Our new show gives you an opportunity to hear from nearly anyone you could possibly imagine in the video game industry. We love video game music, so you'll hear a lot of that too. Do you have a favorite cosplayer? We'll get ‘em on! You'll hear from composers, LPers, audio directors, artists, musicians, journalists, podcasters, actors, and more! This first episode is ridiculously fabulous, if we do say so ourselves. The first time I ever interviewed Jason Graves, it was early in 2011. He was already working on the music for Until Dawn around that time, although I didn't know that yet. Four years and several interviews and panels later, Jason and I got to talk about his music for the game. Until Dawn is a survival horror game, way way way too scary for me to play, although I'm not ruling it out. Jason and I have been down this road before - I didn't play any of the Dead Space games either. I encourage you, if you shy away from the horror genre, to watch the opening moments of Until Dawn. You'll get an incredible sense of what it must be like to play it, without soiling yourself from actually playing it. John Patrick Lowrie and Ellen McLain are voice actors and musicians. They've been married for about 29 years, and they're a hoot. They're best-known in gaming for their work in several Valve titles, like the Portal series, Left 4 Dead, Half-Life 2, and Team Fortress 2. Ellen's projects include the award-winning film Winning Dad. She's in LEGO Dimensions, which comes out later this month (Sept. 27). John wrote a sci-fi novel called Dancing With Eternity and he's the voice of Sherlock Holmes in The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, an audio book series of all 60 in the set by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Ben Reeves, Senior Editor for Game Informer, went to PAX Prime in Seattle this past weekend. He stopped by to tell us about his experience at the biggest fan-convention in video games, and did you know he wrote a book?? Check it out, it's called Kill Screen.
