Schöner Horror Das Silent Hill 2 Remake auf der PS5 ist ein Meisterwerk des psychologischen Horrors, das Matze gleichermaßen beeindruckt und erschüttert hat. Die verstörende Atmosphäre und der bedrückende Soundtrack ziehen den Spieler in die düstere Welt von Silent Hill. Besonders auf der PS5 Pro kommt die grafische Pracht zur Geltung: Die düsteren Nebelschwaden, die realistisch texturierten Umgebungen und die erschreckend detaillierten Monster wirken so lebensecht, dass man sich ständig auf der Grenze zwischen Faszination und Schockzustand bewegt. Das Spiel ist ein tolles Remake, auch für Kenner des Originals. Silent Hill hat Matze so sehr gepackt, dass ich nicht wusste, ob ich die Konsole vor Furcht oder Staunen ausmachen sollte! Wenn Spieleklassiker in Gefahr geraten, springt GoG ein GoG steht für Good old Games und ist eine Initiative, die versucht alte Spiele mit modernen Plattformen kompatibel zu halten. Unterdessen sollen schon 100 Spiele auf diese Art gerettet worden sein. Hinter der Initiative steht CD Project Red (Witcher, Cyberpunk). Weiter Spiele sollen folgen. Totale Immersion Matze hatte die Gelegenheit, die Apple Vision Pro zu testen, und muss sagen: Die Qualität ist beeindruckend. Das gestochen scharfe Display, die intuitive Bedienung und die hochwertige Verarbeitung setzen definitiv neue Maßstäbe im Bereich der Mixed-Reality-Technologie. Aber trotz all der technischen Brillanz bleibt die Frage: Wofür braucht man es wirklich? Ob für produktives Arbeiten, Gaming oder Entertainment – es fühlt sich oft mehr wie ein technisches Experiment an als eine praktische Lösung für den Alltag. Fazit: Beeindruckendes Gerät, aber der echte Durchbruch könnte erst mit klareren Use Cases kommen. Die Familie „La Familia” von Curse, den Stieber Twins, Cora E und Aphroe ist ein absoluter Banger, der die Essenz von deutschem Hip-Hop perfekt einfängt. Jeder der Legenden liefert starke Lines, messerscharfe Flows und diese unverwechselbare Authentizität, die sofort Gänsehaut auslöst. “La Familia” ist mehr als ein Track, es ist eine Hommage an die Wurzeln des Hip-Hop und ein Statement, dass diese Artists immer noch zur absoluten Elite gehören. Hassliebe CoD Black Ops 6 Einer hasst es, einer liebt es. Wer was wie warum, erfahrt ihr im Podcast. Ausgelacht “Joker: Folie à Deux” lebt von der unglaublichen schauspielerischen Leistung von Joaquin Phoenix, der erneut brillant die Abgründe seiner Figur auslotet. Seine Darstellung ist intensiv, verstörend und faszinierend – genau das, was man von ihm erwartet. Doch leider wird der Film von seinen Musical-Einlagen überschattet, die nicht nur unpassend wirken, sondern auch den düsteren Ton des Vorgängers brechen. Statt die Geschichte voranzutreiben, ziehen sie einen aus der Atmosphäre heraus und wirken wie ein Fremdkörper. Insgesamt bleibt “Joker 2” eine enttäuschende Fortsetzung, die den hohen Erwartungen nicht gerecht wird. Konkurrenz für Ally, SteamDeck und Co – Xbox Handheld bestätigt Wie es aussieht, wird es am Markt der Handheld Spielsysteme doch noch eine portable Xbox geben. Allerdings ist das alles noch weit entfernt. Selbst 2025 ist wohl noch nicht damit zu rechnen. Dementsprechend machen Vergleiche mit den aktuellen Handhelds wohl wenig Sinn. Interessant wird, ob das dann ein Windows Gerät ist oder der Xbox zugeordnet wird. Peppi hat sich ja schon öfter beschwert, dass er gerne Spiele auf mehreren Geräten Spielen würde.

(she is not -B), the feeling of escape, test subjects getting behind the walls, tactical freedom vs strategic freedom, the importance of context, the meta aspect of these narratives, the subtlety of the cake (until it isn't), "now I'm in Half-Life," competing with Black Mesa, the boss fight, thinking in portals, the final exam and having all the tools, timers as a crutch, the perfectly balanced end point, seeing the outside and being in the Half-Life world, the cake room, the character of GLaDOS as an amalgam of personality modules, triumphant GLaDOS, "the cake is a lie," the game hitting in a different way, the Weighted Companion Cube, having to be interactive, using games as a substrate for "non-interactive" entertainment, the grungy environment vs what's going on, a better show than a game (except maybe a couple of scenes), freeing your mind, the limits of new mechanics, being just one idea with some small sub-ideas, lean/no fat, really great onboarding, a light touch with narrative, everything coming together and artistic cohesion, a meta moment about the SteamDeck, portals!, safety in the portals, portal-based renderers, the one game that brought you in, another very kind review that we sometimes live up to. Xbox is working on a handheld gaming console! And knowing Microsoft's naming standard, will probably call it "Copilot for Your Hands"!   In what is the worst kept secret of the gaming space, we now know that Xbox is partnering with Asus on a gaming handheld to take on the Switch. Will it be any good? Will it still run Windows? All this remains to be seen, but with Steam entering the operating system space, we can see Microsoft starting to sweat a little. Will you pick one up? Or will you continue to use your trusty SteamDeck?   Halo Infinite was about to get the Destiny treatment - 10 years of evolving and growing. But we can all see where that ended up. The utter mismanagement of 343 Industries caused a massive shake up, even to the point where the entire studio was renamed, and Halo was shifted to the Unreal 5 engine. One day, there will be thesis's written about the incredible fumble that was 343i and Halo Infinite.    Diablo IV is about to get harder. A lot harder! People were speed running season 7 way too easily apparently. So now we're all being punished in season 8.
