Dear Listeners, Thank you for the abundance of questions you've sent to us regarding our time with Fate/Stay Night. Please join us on the empty city streets beneath a flickering convenience store sign tonight as we answer your queries, demonstrate our power, and drop a few hints about our upcoming schedule as well. Take care on your way home tonight, as well... I've heard that urban fantasy can be incredibly dangerous for a protagonist such as yourself. This month, Sara and Runa join returning guest MK to conclude our coverage of Fate/Stay Night with a pile of listener letters and questions, alongside a decidedly nonlinear discussion of Fate/Zero. What historical or legendary figure would our hosts summon as a servant in the holy grail war? What has Nasu said about the process of writing Fate/Stay Night over the years? What possibility is there of hearing a Say it in Red episode on Tsukihime? And most of all, what did Sara think about Waver in Fate/Zero? These questions, and many more, are all answered in this episode. As a result, please consider this a blanket warning for spoilers of all Fate/Stay Night routes as well as for Fate/Zero.As we mention in the episode, please be on the lookout for our new schedule which we'll be releasing shortly after this episode. Patrons get to see our full schedule for the remainder of the year, while all listeners are able to see an abbreviated schedule covering the next few months. If you like the show and would like to support us, please consider leaving us a five-star review on your platform of choice, and if you can write a review please write in to tell us which servant YOU would summon in the holy grail war. You can also support us on Patreon at Patreon.com/sayitinred where you'll find all of our bonus episodes, including the spoilercast episodes mentioned here and our latest bonus episode in which Sara and Runa dive into the world of Fate figure collection! The interviews mentioned in the episode were originally in Japanese and fan translations are available at the following links:https://jcrcomicarts.wordpress.com/2021/03/28/type-moon-ace-full-type-moon-ace-vol-13-interview-fully-translated/https://www.reddit.com/r/Tsukihime/comments/pbhqg5/nasu_and_takeuchis_tsukihime_remake_launch/https://www.reddit.com/r/Tsukihime/comments/pcei90/nasu_and_takeuchis_tsukihime_remake_launch/https://www.reddit.com/r/Tsukihime/comments/pe56vw/nasu_and_takeuchis_tsukihime_remake_launch/

Dear Listeners,I've been having nightmares recently. Maybe I shouldn't call them nightmares, but it's hard to describe them in any other way. Each night, I fall asleep – or at least, I think I'm falling asleep – only to see the silhouette of a tall, beautiful woman open my door right before I lose consciousness. The next thing I remember is walking through my old high school and finding one of my classmates drinking another girl's blood. Terror seizes me, because I forgot to study for my blood drinking exam. I run from the room,  mostly to give the girls their privacy, and fall right into a massive pit of worms. Dread arrests my limbs, because they're all sour gummy worms and now my clothes are covered in tart sugar and sticky goo. Also all of these gummy worms are dirty now and that's just adding to the stress. Around this time, a writhing shadow covers me and I awaken in a cold sweat, look up, and see the flowchart for Heaven's Feel open on the monitor in front of me.On this episode, Sara, Runa, and returning guest MK complete their reading of Fate/Stay Night with the Heaven's Feel route! This route immediately diverges from the others, but still remains close to the Fate route until a scene in the Matou family basement pulls us deeper into the literal pit of Sakura's trauma and despair. When Sakura confides in Shirou about the abuse she's suffered at her family home, he takes her to stay at his house to protect her from Shinji and their terrifying grandfather, Zouken. When a mysterious, eldritch Shadow begins stalking the city and defeating servants, Shirou and Saber start investigating only to cross paths with a new servant, True Assassin, at the Ryuudo Temple. While Shirou faces off against Zouken, the master of True Assassin, Saber fights his servant only to lose not to Assassin, but the mysterious Shadow. Meanwhile, Sakura has been suffering from sudden intense fevers and bouts of weakness and Shirou encourages her to remain at his home and rest. When Shinji attempts to take Sakura back to the Matou home, Rin and Shirou try to protect her only to end up facing Rider, now revealed to have been Sakura's servant all along. From there the Shadow continues its rampage, Zouken continues scheming, Shirou continues experiencing unnerving nightmares, and Sakura's condition continues to deteriorate. The final secrets of the Holy Grail War come to light in this final route, as Illya reveals her connection to Shirou, Rin and Sakura reconnect as sisters, and Angra Mainyu properly takes the stage at last.Fate/Stay Night Q&A Episode: Our April Episode will be a huge Q&A Episode about the whole of Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Zero questions are up for grabs as well!

“I'll show you a miracle.” The journey of Fate/stay night comes to a close with the third and final chapter of the Heaven's Feel trilogy, Spring Song, and Sean and Jonathan are both in absolute awe at what this film achieves. Bringing the stories of Shirou, Sakura, Rin, Ilya, and the other surviving characters to a surprising, incredibly emotional conclusion, this final film is a true tour-de-force, with the full weight of ufotable's animation abilities brought to bear on some of Kinoko Nasu's best storytelling. Few stories close with as immense a sense of pay-off as Heaven's Feel, bringing us circling back not only to prior Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night discussions, but also The Garden of Sinners – all of it was leading to this point. Add in some jaw-dropping fight scenes, more incredible music by Yuki Kajiura and Aimer, and a heaping helping of everybody's favorite evil priest, Kirei Kotomine, and you've got an animated masterpiece for the ages. “If I ever did something bad, would you forgive me?” We enter the final phase of ufotable/Moon Works with the first part of the Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel trilogy, Presage Flower, the first of three films adapting the third and final route of the original Fate/stay night visual novel. And whether you're experiencing the story in its original visual novel setting or coming to it through ufotable's anime adaptations, Heaven's Feel is meticulously designed to throw you off balance, with a Holy Grail War that quickly becomes corrupted by dark forces unlike anything we've seen before, and a violent, horror-tinged tone more reminiscent of The Garden of Sinners than Fate/Zero or Unlimited Blade Works. This time around, the story focuses on Shirou Emiya's relationship with Sakura Matou, an extremely different character than Rin Tohsaka, and one whose mysterious, trauma-filled past brings out new shadings in our would-be hero. It's a terrific film, boasting ufotable's finest production values thus far and a tremendous score by Yuki Kajiura, and it's only the tip of the iceberg, as we still have two films to go. “I am the bone of my sword.” After the breakout success of Fate/Zero, ufotable returned in 2014 with an adaptation of the second route in the Fate/stay night visual novel: Unlimited Blade Works. And it's a big series, released in two seasons, with the first including three hour-long episodes, and the entire production showcasing some of the highest-quality animation ever featured on television. This is a tremendous show, whether you're seeing it for the first time (like Jonathan) or the fifth time (like Sean), working equally well as either a prequel or the first chapter of the larger Fate story, with a giant ensemble of rich, compelling characters, a ridiculously deep bench of vocal talent, some stellar music and animation, and a tragic storyline that barrels towards its wrenching conclusion with unstoppable momentum. There is an almost endless well of amazing material to talk about here, and it leaves us more excited than ever to get into Fate/stay night itself in the weeks to come. Enjoy, and come back next week as we review the first season of Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, episodes 0 through 12. “The Holy Grail will save you.” After finishing up The Garden of Sinners last week, we are taking our first steps into the larger world of Fate/stay night, the most iconic of Kinoko Nasu and Type-Moon's creations, with Fate/Zero, the prequel anime based on the light novel series by Gen Urobuchi. On today's episode, Sean gives us an in-depth introduction to the original Fate/stay night visual novel, all the ways it's been adapted over the years, and tells us how Fate/Zero came about and where it fits into things. Then we discuss the first, double-length episode of the anime, and find that it's not just a great hour of TV, but an excellent stand-alone introduction for anyone (like Jonathan!) who hasn't previously experienced Fate/stay night. FateZero: Fusing Attentions for Zero-shot Text-based Video Editing

The diffusion-based generative models have achieved remarkable success in text-based image generation. However, since it contains enormous randomness in generation progress, it is still challenging to apply such models for real-world visual content editing, especially in videos. In this paper, we propose FateZero, a zero-shot text-based editing method on real-world videos without per-prompt training or use-specific mask. To edit videos consistently, we propose several techniques based on the pre-trained models. Firstly, in contrast to the straightforward DDIM inversion technique, our approach captures intermediate attention maps during inversion, which effectively retain both structural and motion information. These maps are directly fused in the editing process rather than generated during denoising. 2023: Chenyang Qi, Xiaodong Cun, Yong Zhang, Chenyang Lei, Xintao Wang, Ying Shan, Qifeng Chen https://arxiv.org/pdf/2303.09535v1.pdf

“Your dream will live on.” After adapting the original seven chapters of Kara no Kyoukai, ufotable returned in 2011 to animate the novel's Epilogue chapter as a half-hour short, and in 2013 for Future Gospel (also known as Recalled Out Summer), based on an additional chapter Kinoko Nasu wrote in 2008, 10 years after the original serialization. Both turn out to be essential parts of the experience, with the Epilogue complicating and adding depth to the major themes of the series – alongside the most stunning imagery in the entire production – and Future Gospel offering a nostalgic, thought-provoking set of stories that works both as a Garden of Sinners reunion and a pitch-perfect coda. We also discuss the OVA released alongside Future Gospel – Extra Chorus – which adapts three manga chapters telling small one-off stories, and look back on the entire experience of watching and reviewing this incredible magnum opus. With Fate Zero we scratch the surface of yet another goliath anime franchise. The jury is still out whether this was the right place to start, but it's where we started nonetheless. We briefly touch on the other titles and how they intertwine in a sort of multi-multiverse with crossovers. Depending on who you are it can get sort of confusing and it doesn't help that several main characters look almost identical. Lets hope that other Fate titles don't also have pits of magic worms that suck the essence out of a child's genitals. SPOILER ALERT!!! Save this episode for later if you want to experience this show without a high-energy, often heated, very thorough discourse on it's high and low points. This week the class visits an alternate universe with bubbles raining down upon the world that simply just breaks the laws of gravity. With "Bubble" being Netflix's latest installment of anime movies, the class wanted to tune in and see the hype around this visually stunning work of art. "Bubble" is directed by Tetsuro Araki, director of the first seasons of Attack on Titan, from a script by Psycho-Pass and Fate/Zero writer Gen Urobuchi, character designs by Death Note co-creator Takeshi Obata, and contains a theme song from popular singer Eve. Studio WIT went above and beyond with their animation for this latest installment but did the story of Bubble live up to the hype of the amazingly animated parkour scenes and vibrant colors that portray this alternate version of Tokyo. Tune in and see what our thoughts are on the latest Netflix anime movie release.

5 is a brand of sugar-free chewing gum that is manufactured by the Wrigley Company, marketed toward teenagers. The name "5" hints at the five human senses (with the ad slogan "Stimulate Your Senses" and "How It Feels To Chew Five Gum") and that it has 5 calories. 5 gum was introduced to United States markets in March 2007, in Canada in January 2008, in Russia, Europe and Australia in 2009, in China, India, Italy, Israel, Thailand, and Malaysia in 2010. When introduced to new markets, 5 Gum would be stylized and branded as "New 5 Gum". As per the Youtuber "TechRax," the watermelon flavor (Prism) was released in 2010...
