This week we are talking about Aharen is Indecipherable Season 1 as recommended by Jeb. And it is a show that is certainly a slow burn to say the least. And by that we mean if you go by the 3 episode rule for anime then you will certainly pass this one by as it takes about 5 episodes to really grab you. That is not to say that those first few episodes are not entertaining in their own way, just that they are not enough to grab you so that you watch the whole season. But once you get past that you do find the series enjoyable but even still in the podcast we can't help but get off track and go off on some tangents mainly because the show while it did have content it just was not very wide or deep. It was all very surface level.Next Week's Pick: "Aharen is Indecipherable Season 2"Have you had the chance to watch Aharen is Indecipherable Season 1 or any of our previous selections? One Piece currently holds the crown as the best-selling manga of all time, on the road to overthrowing even Superman's worldwide sales. However, the popularity of Koyoharu Gotouge's manga is undeniable, as Demon Slayer is on the verge of shattering a record in the industry that even One Piece couldn't match.Demon Slayer is one of the most popular manga franchises of recent years. This is proven by Shueisha's latest report, revealing that Demon Slayer became the 7th best-selling manga in history after achieving 220 million copies in circulation. After this milestone, Demon Slayer's manga is dangerously close to another major record: the highest average sales per volume of all time.Support The Podcast!https://creators.spotify.com/pod/show/roose366/subscribeFollow For More Content &Streams!Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/roosejpKick: https://kick.com/roosejpYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@Roose366 Youtube Gaming: https://www.youtube.com/@RooseJp/videosTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@podcastonanime

You Got Me, Sempai! on Azusa Masen shoujoromanssi, jossa nuori lukiolaispariskunta kohtaa yhdessä seurustelun iloja ja haasteita. --- Kommentoi | Bluesky | Mastodon | X | Threads | Instagram --- (01:23) – KUULUMISET: MISSING LINK - Maaretin Missing Link -blogi - Mainittu Kirjafilé-YouTube-kanava on yhä pystyssä, vaikkei enää olekaan aktiivinen - sisältää etenkin arvosteluja nuortenkirjoista - Missing Link -biisi (YouTube) - Jakso 110, jonka kuulumisissa puhuimme Maaretin BL-bingosta - Prinsessapäiväkirjat Missing Linkissä (12:54) – YOU GOT ME, SEMPAI!: ESITTELY - You Got Me, Sempai! - Dessert-lehti - Jakso 74, jossa puhuimme samassa lehdessä ilmestyneestä sarjasta A Sign of Affection (16:24) – YOU GOT ME, SEMPAI!: PÄÄPARI JA ROMANSSI - Reiwa-kausi alkoi oikeastaan vasta 2019 - Mainittuja sarjoja, jotka myös alkavat siitä, kun pääpari alkaa seurustella: - My Love Story!!, josta puhuimme jaksossa 69 - My Love Mix-Up! - A Sign of Affection - I'm in Love and It's the End of the World, josta puhuimme jaksossa 95 - Päähenkilöt ovat söpö pariskunta (kuva) - Mizukawa vaikuttaa kylmältä, mutta ei oikeastaan lopulta ole (kuva) - Ykköspokkarin kansikuva perustuu tähän kohtaukseen - Ystävänpäiväsuklaat (kuva) - Aluksi parisuhteen ongelmat ovat aika pieniä (kuva) - Överi rakkausdialogi tuntuu välillä kiusalliselta (kuva) - Treffit Disneylandissä (kuva) - Jakso 40, jossa puhuimme sarjasta Aoha Ride - Mizukawan koulukiireet tuovat etäisyyttä parin välille (kuva) - Päädytään pitämään taukoa (kuva) - Serina ylikompensoi, kun suhde alkaa jäähtyä (kuva) - …koska häntä pelottaa se, ettei yhdessäolo tunnu enää yhtä kivalta (kuva) - Bakuman (38:45) – YOU GOT ME, SEMPAI!: SEKSI - Pariskunta makustelee seksuaalisuuttaan tosi suloisesti (kuva) - Serinakin on toisinaan aktiivisempi toimija (kuva) - Ekaa kertaa hermoillaan (kuva) - Eka kerta (kuva) (48:50) – YOU GOT ME, SEMPAI!: MUUT HAHMOT - Kare Kano eli His and Her Circumstances - Surullinen kilpakosijapoika Higuchi (kuva) - Poikien söpö ystävyys (kuva) - Inoue ja Maezono ovat höpsöjä, mutta eivät ikäviä (kuva) - Mizukawan eksä (kuva) - Mizukawan nihkeä pikkuveli nihkeilee Serinalle (kuva) (1:02:03) – YOU GOT ME, SEMPAI!: TAIDE JA VISUAALIT - Higuchi osoittaa Serinaa (kuva) (1:08:30) – YOU GOT ME, SEMPAI!: KANNET - Sarjan kannet (1:10:58) – YOU GOT ME, SEMPAI!: JULKAISU - Välillä käännös tuntuu kömpelöltä (kuva) (1:14:00) – YOU GOT ME, SEMPAI!: YHTEENVETO (1:17:21) – MISTÄ LÖYDÄMME ANIMEA JA MANGAA - Jakso 110, jossa viimeksi puhuimme aiheesta ja jakso 114, jossa jatkoimme keskustelua kuulijakommenttiosiossa - Kyllä Petterille Netflix ainakin suosittelee The Summer Hikaru Diedia (kuva) - Animurojen jakso 68, jossa puhutaan animesarjojen löytämisestä - Maaretin Desucon-ohjelma animetunnareista (YouTube) - The Summer Hikaru Died -sarjan OP (YouTube) - B: The Beginning -sarjan OP (YouTube) - Dangers in my Heartin kakkoskauden OP (YouTube) - Cloudin jenkkitraileri (YouTube) - Tabicine käyttää japanilaista traileria (YouTube) - TV-sarja John Doe lopetettiin yhden kauden jälkeen törkeään cliffhangeriin - TV-sarja Firefly - TV-sarja Lost - Dan da Danin ykköskausi loppui cliffhangeriin, koska toinen kausi oli jo tulossa - Re:Zeron ykköskauden loppuun lisättiin cliffhanger myöhemmässä uusintaesityksessä, kun kakkoskausi oli lähestymässä - Netflix lopetti The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistancen yhteen kauteen - Devilman Crybaby (Netflix) - Japan Sinks: 2020 (Netflix) - Moonrise (Netflix) - Moonrise nousi laajemman keskustelun aiheeksi siitä, miten Netflix ei markkinoi animea jota sillä on: - Valitusta X:ssä - Valitusta Redditissä - Anime By The Numbers -uutiskirjeessä huomautettiin, että isompi ongelma kuin markkinointi on enemmänkin viikoittaisen julkaisun puuttuminen - Tarkennuksena: Disney Plus esitti Summer Time Renderingin (Disney Plus) vielä jälkijunassa, mutta Heavenly Delusion (Disney Plus) taisi olla jo normaali simultaanijulkaisu - AIR News (X) - Livechart, Anichart ja muut kausilistaussivustot listaavat kaikki kauden animesarjat Tämän kauden sarjoja: - Gachiakuta - Ruri Rocks - Kakkoskausia: My Dress-Up Darling, Dan da Dan, Call of the Night, Kaiju No. 8, Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, Rascal Does Not Dream - The Summer Hikaru Died - April Showers Bring May Flowers - Takopi's Original Sin - Let's Go Karaoke! - Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity - Watari-kun's ****** Is About to Collapse, jonka mangasta puhuimme lukujonossa jaksossa 55 - There's No Way I'll Be Your Lover - Futari Solo Camp - City - Panty & Stockingin kakkoskausi - Anne Shirley jatkuu vielä viime kaudelta - Go! It has been serialized in Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ app and website since April 2021, with its chapters collected in 18 tankōbon volumes as of January 2025. The series follows two teenagers with supernatural powers fighting yōkai and aliens with help from multiple allies. An anime television series adaptation produced by Science Saru aired from October to December 2024. A second season is set to premiere in July 2025. Momo Ayase is a high school girl who believes in ghosts but not aliens, while her fellow highschooler, Ken Takakura, whom Momo nicknames "Okarun", believes in aliens but not ghosts. In a bet to determine who is correct, the two decide to separately visit locations associated with both the extraterrestrial and the occult—Momo visiting the former, and Okarun the latter. Momo is abducted by a group of aliens who accidentally unblock her chakras, enabling latent psychic abilities. Meanwhile, Okarun is possessed by a spirit who takes over his body. By using Momo's abilities and Okarun's possessed form, they defeat the aliens together. The rest of the story follows the two, as they team up with fellow students, friends, family, and new acquaintances to fight spirits and aliens; the overarching plot themes include retrieval of Okarun's penis and testicles (kintama) and the development of romantic feelings between Momo and Okarun. One wrote the original webcomic manga version in early 2009. A digital manga remake, illustrated by Yusuke Murata, began publication on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website in June 2012. Its chapters are periodically compiled and published into individual tankōbon volumes. As of March 2024, 30 volumes have been released. An anime adaptation produced by Madhouse was broadcast in Japan from October to December 2015. A second season, produced by J.C.Staff, was broadcast from April to July 2019. A third season also by J.C.Staff has been announced. Licensed in North America by Viz Media, it premiered in the United States on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block in July 2016. The second season premiered on the block in October 2019. By June 2012, the original webcomic manga surpassed 7.9 million hits. By April 2020, the manga remake had sold over 30 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.

We get brought into the world of Alchemy and fight with this week's choice. This anime for us played on a sense of nostalgia. More so for Rick than Jack. But even with that for them, they could not get past the plot armor that it had for it and just cheapened the show as a whole. The story was shallow and no real character development. It was one that they did not care for too much. Jack had a larger distaste for it than Rick. Next week's choice is Ice. Have you seen next week's choice or one of the previous ones? It has been serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018, with its chapters collected and published in 25 tankōbon volumes as of January 2024. The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. Jujutsu Kaisen is a sequel to Akutami's Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, serialized in Shueisha's Jump Giga from April to July 2017, later collected in a tankōbon volume, retroactively titled as Jujutsu Kaisen 0, in December 2018. Jujutsu Kaisen is licensed for English-language release in North America by Viz Media, which has published the manga in print since December 2019. Shueisha publishes the series in English on the Manga Plus online platform. Two novels, written by Ballad Kitaguni, were published in May 2019 and January 2020, respectively. A 24-episode anime television series adaptation produced by MAPPA, aired on MBS from October 2020 to March 2021; a second season aired from July to December 2023. A sequel covering the "Culling Game" arc has been announced. The anime is licensed by Crunchyroll for streaming outside of Asia, which premiered an English dub in November 2020. The anime's original soundtrack was released in April 2021. By January 2024, the Jujutsu Kaisen manga had over 90 million copies in circulation, including related novels, digital versions and Jujutsu Kaisen 0, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. In Jujutsu Kaisen, all living beings emanate energy called Cursed Energy (呪力, Juryoku), which arises from negative emotions that naturally flow throughout the body. Ordinary people cannot control this flow in their bodies. As a result, they continually lose Cursed Energy, resulting in the birth of Curses (呪い, Noroi), a race of spiritual beings whose primary desire is to bring harm to humanity. These Curses are shown as gruesome monsters, ghosts, and yōkai. Jujutsu Sorcerers (呪術師, Jujutsushi, lit. "Cursed Technique Masters" or "Shamans") are people who control the flow of Cursed Energy in their bodies, allowing them to use it as they please and also to reduce its release. High-ranking Sorcerers and Curses can refine this energy and use it to perform Cursed Techniques (呪術式, Jujutsushiki), which tend to be unique to the user or their family. An advanced form of Cursed Technique is Domain Expansion (領域展開, Ryōiki Tenkai), which the users build a pocket dimension of variable size. Inside the Domain, all of their attacks are guaranteed to hit and will grow in strength. SynopsisSetting

It was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, with its chapters collected in 23 tankōbon volumes. It has been published in English by Viz Media and simultaneously published by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform. It follows teenage Tanjiro Kamado, who strives to become a Demon Slayer after his family was slaughtered and his younger sister, Nezuko, turned into a demon. The story takes place in Taishō era Japan, where a secret society, known as the Demon Slayer Corps, has been waging a secret war against demons for centuries. The demons are former humans who were turned into demons by Muzan Kibutsuji injecting them with his own blood, and they feed on humans and possess supernatural abilities such as super strength, powers that demons can obtain called "Blood Demon Art", and regeneration. The Demon Slayers, on the other hand, are entirely human; however, they employ special elemental breathing techniques, known as "Breathing Styles", which grant them superhuman strength and increased resistance, helping them fight against demons. The strongest Demon Slayers are known as the Hashira, and gain this rank through either killing a member of the Twelve Kizuki (the twelve strongest demons under Muzan) or killing fifty demons after ranking up multiple times.
