The Rebels have won five of their last four meetings with the Bulldogs. Ole Miss awaits its College Football Playoff fate. The transfer portal is already churning, too. Georgia CB Julian Humphrey is in. Kentucky wide receiver Barion Brown is rumored to be considering a jump, too. Ole Miss would have interest in both players. Humphrey would be a plug-and-play replacement for Tre Amos. Brown could help offset the losses of Tre Harris and Jordan Watkins. Oklahoma travels to Oxford, Miss., to face Ole Miss in a game shown at 11 Central on ESPN. The Rebels are 20 1/2-point favorites. Chase Robinson and Chris Lee break down the game. Topics include: Oklahoma fired offensive coordinator Seth Littrell after a what's been an awful seven games. But the Sooners' problems--injured offensive linemen and receivers and inexperienced quarterbacks--run deeper than play-calling. They'll face an Ole Miss defense that's been almost impossible to run on. Jaxson Dart, Tre Harris, Henry Parrish, Caden Prieskhorn, Juice Wells, Jordan Watkins and company will be a tough test for Oklahoma. But the Sooners' defense, paced by Billy Bowman and Danny Stutsman, have been good at forcing turnovers. Ole Miss still has a shot at the playoff, but needs to win out. Chase Robinson and Chris Lee preview Georgia's trip to Ole Miss. That game can be seen on ABC at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon. BetOnline has Georgia as a 3-point favorite. Topics include: Georgia's Carson Beck has got to be better; he's thrown eight interceptions the last three games. The Bulldogs' Trevor Etienne will be key in this game, which comes against one of America's best rushing defenses. The Rebels had an amazing performance from Jaxson Dart and Jordan Watkins in a dismantling of Arkansas last week as the Rebels also found Dae'Quan Wright often. Will All-American Tre Harris play in this one after missing last week? Georgia's talented front could present problems for a Rebel offensive line that's struggled, and also been banged up. Ole Miss has lit up the scoreboard against weaker opponents, but struggled against the SEC. But was last week's dominant performance representative of what the Rebels (a top-5 team nationally in the computers) will be going forward? No. 19 Ole Miss improved to 7-2 (3-2 SEC) on the season with a 63-31 shellacking of Arkansas (5-4, 3-3) on Saturday. The Rebels claimed just their third win all-time in Fayetteville and first since 2008.History was made everywhere. Third-year Rebel quarterback Jaxson Dart was 25 for 31 for 515 yards (a single-game school record), six touchdowns and no interceptions. His 562 yards of total offense are a national record. Dart passed Ole Miss legend Archie Manning, who'd held it for 40 years.“A really good performance,” Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said. “Obviously there's a couple individuals with record-breaking performances, but I thought the team played really well.“I'd like to single-out (Ole Miss offensive coordinator) Charlie Weis. He's taken a lot of criticism. I thought he had a great game plan today. You saw guys not just making plays but wide open. A lot of credit to the players and offensive coaches.”Senior wide receiver Jordan Watkins set new Ole Miss records for receiving yards (254) and receiving touchdowns (5). The Rebel defense had eight sacks and 13 tackles for loss. Up next is Georgia in a showdown that could determine Ole Miss' College Football Playoff fate. Chase Robinson and Chris Lee preview and share their predictions for Kentucky's trip to Ole Miss and analyze the matchup. Thoughts include: We get a matchup of strength on strength with Ole Miss's offense and Kentucky's defense. Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart is putting up Heisman Trophy-level numbers--and so is wide receiver Tre Harris. The Rebels have a bunch of other offensive weapons in Henry Parrish, Caden Prieskhorn, Juice Wells and Jordan Watkins. Kentucky's defense is paced on the front end by Deone Walker and the back end by Maxwell Hairston, with a ton of good defenders like JJ Weaver and D'Eryk Jackson in between. Ole Miss's defense has been stout against the run and the pass rush has been one of the country's best. Did Kentucky's passing game, featuring quarterback Brock Vandagrilff and receivers Ja'Mori Maclin, Dane Key and Barrion Brown, get on track last week against Ohio?

Ole Miss last week landed Houston cornerback Isaiah Hamilton. Hamilton replaces Michigan's Amorion Walker. Walker transferred in during the winter and went through spring practices. However, he's since transferred back to Michigan. Walker was more potential than proven production. Hamilton, meanwhile, is a plug-and-play piece for the Rebels opposite Tre Amos. Amos transferred to Ole Miss from Alabama.Hamilton has an 86.9 PFF Grade since 2021. He's also compiled 12 interceptions, 18 pass break-ups, a 70.2 passer rating allowed and a 90.8 coverage grade over that span.More specifically, he addresses the final need for Ole Miss, which will remain active in the portal. Lane Kiffin and Co. are still offering wide receivers despite the returns of Tre Harris and Jordan Watkins and transfers of Juice Wells, Deion Smith and Marquis Willis.Actually, with Hamilton, the Rebels have one of college football's most enviable rosters, as Zach Berry and Ben Garrett of the Ole Miss Spirit explain in this edition of ‘The Flagship,' powered by College Corner. Our Sponsors:* Check out PXG: PXG.com/toc* Check out Tecovas: www.tecovas.com* Check out visit eufyofficial.com/videolock.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Today's Locked on Ole Miss podcast we talk about the winner from yesterdays detective work in Isaiah Hamilton from the Houston Cougars who listed Ole Miss in his Top 4 with Missouri Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide and Michigan Wolverines as well. Him potentially joining Trey Amos and Brandon Turnage with Chris Graves and Cedrick Beavers has to make Pete Golding excited. In the second segment of the show we talk about Jacob Bostick a Freshman Wide Receiver from the Iowa Hawkeyes and yes we will make a few jokes about the Iowa Offense but we also tell you how this WR would fit in Ole Miss and their WR Room with the future Rebels included as well. Today's Locked on Ole Miss podcast we talk about the some surprises that the Ole Miss Rebels and Lane Kiffin might recruit out of the Transfer Portal and specifically at the Wide Receiver position…Yes you heard that correctly so I put on my Sherlock Holmes hat and grabbed a pipe and started looking for clues for directions that Ole Miss and George McDonald and yes Jaxson Dart's instagram played a major role. This team already has Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins, Juice Wells, Deion Smith and Cayden Lee but they may be looking to grow that room. In the second segment of the show we talk about Isaiah Hamilton from the Houston Cougars and what type of role a Cornerback of this magnitude would have in this lineup that features Trey Amos, Brandon Turnage, Chris Graves and Cedrick Beavers already. And why this would allow John Saunders, Jaden Canady and Yam Banks to stay in the middle of the field for Pete Golding. In our final segment of the day we talk about the Running Back room post spring after the Kedrick Reescano defection. What does Ole Miss have currently with Ulysses Bentley IV, Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Henry Parrish Jr right now and how Ole Miss can fill the role of a thumper with personnel and two Tight End formations. Today's Locked on Ole Miss podcast we talk about the importance of Nick Saban on this Ole Miss Rebels football team for Lane Kiffin. It is a team with Jaxson Dart and Walter Nolen that will have plenty of expectations and Kiffin is leaning on his Saban lessons and building up those points with assistant coaches that have Alabama and Nick Saban backgrounds. Wes Neighbors, Pete Golding and Joe Cox join Lane Kiffin as on the field coaches with an Alabama Crimson Tide background but Charlie Weis Jr and William Vlachos also spent time in that building. In the second segment of the show we talk Cayden Lee as the WR Story of spring practice so far and he is someone that has gotten the upperclassmen attention and new WR coach George McDonald is even starting to move this guy around on the field. This is impressive for a guy that is competing with Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins and Ayden Williams and Juice Wells and Deion Smith will be coming soon. In our final segment of the day we talk about College Football 2.0 and whether or not you like it it appears to be here and the Rise of Personnel departments will be the next wave of college football and Ole Miss Rebels just hired a Personnel guy with 20 years NFL experience with the San Francisco 49ers and St Louis Rams to their personnel department that is becoming quite varied. Locked On Ole Miss - Daily podcast on Ole Miss Rebels Football, Basketball & Baseball
Today's Locked on Ole Miss podcast we talk about Caden Prieskorn and his role in Lane Kiffin's offense with Jaxson Dart in 2024. Even with Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins, Deion Smith, Juice Wells, Ayden Williams and Cayden Lee there will be a role that can only be filled by a solid, productive Tight End in Caden Prieskorn or Dae'Quan Wright. The Ole Miss Rebels are positioned for a 2022 Tennessee Volunteers type of explosive offense but a lot will depend on the Tight End position. In the second segment of the show we talk about Jaxson Dart and the role that technology is going to play for Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels. Kiffin described this technology as a Madden type offensive cheat code depending on how it is used. Kiffin is a coach that made his reputation as an offensive genius for the USC Trojans, Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida Atlantic Owls coach by whistling when he saw the look he wanted and getting a shot type play. Now he will just have to relay it to Jaxson Dart through a head set. In our final segment of the day we talk about the Ole Miss Pro Day and the weird dichotomy that Ole Miss is doing by both promoting it as a spectator type event to generate interest and even having signage of the event to also really clamping down of the information that is going out. In a situation where the fan base is asked to pay the salaries of players this isn't the best look. https://thegrovecollective.com/marchtovictory WANT MORE OLE MISS SPORTS CONTENT? Today's Locked on Ole Miss podcast we talk about Jaxson Dart and the role he has played off the field displaying a magnetic personality in recruiting this 2024 football team. Today's Locked on Ole Miss podcast we talk about the National narrative of the Ole Miss Rebels going all in on the 2024 12 Team College Football playoff and this is the Last Dance for the Ole Miss Rebels and why that Lane Kiffin is building this roster with more staying power than just that.Jaxson Dart will have many different targets like Tre Harris, Juice Wells and Jordan Watkins with Caden Prieskorn and Ole Miss used the Portal to beef up their defense for Pete Golding and you can see why people would make 2024 Playoffs or bust. In the second segment of the show we talk about the way Kiffin and Charlie Weis Jr and Pete Golding is building up tent pole rooms in College Football such as the Quarterback room with Walker Howard and Austin Simmons to make sure the most important position in College Football has continuity and Looking at Wide Receiver with Tre Harris and those guys but Ayden Williams, Noreel White and Cayden Lee are players in the pipeline too.The last tentpole is Defensive Line where Walter Nolen and Princely Umanmielen will join JJ Pegues and Jared Ivey will get the headlines this year but Kamarion Franklin, William Echoles, Jeffrey Rush and Kam Beavers are part of a Top 5 defensive line class for 2024 and shows the work Ole Miss is doing there. In our final segment of the day we talk about Ole Miss and the Transfer Portal and how it will always be a large part of the Ole Miss recruiting strategy but Ole Miss having good situations in those tent pole positions will make the money go farther for the Grove Collective and Lane Kiffin. https://thegrovecollective.com/marchtovictory WANT MORE OLE MISS SPORTS CONTENT?
