Ken has been a busy body with work this last week, so he shares some non geeky news today. The guys discuss their belief in science, the morality of pets, a very heavy woman, and a young lotto winner who wants to sue about it. Wayne spent a Japanese day with DJ Bullock at an arcade and restuarant. Afterwards he stopped by the local ANIME convention Wasabi, which was very lightly attended. Wayne also watched the new John Wick movie which he highly recommends you see. Ken does some Heroics in WoW and playing all of the Worms on his mobile. He's also been watching the series Supergirl except for the awkwardness of being a girl. Wayne is really happy with the new Voltron series. He and Kopii finished up Trine 3 and played some ARAMs in LoL. He also checked out the final beta of For Honor and talks about the Valentine's event in Pokemon GO. This week, Ken's boss doesn't eat his dog, Wayne has been decidedly booring, doing house things and watching the anime Overlord and the new Lemeny Snicket series on Netflix. On a high note, he got to see Hordak! Ken wishes The US's new president luck in his new job. Wayne recommends everyone keep their government on track and transparent. Ken has also been rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender (Which is totally anime). He also teases us with the potential for an upcoming Ken Con in the US.... Ken and Kopii have continued to play more Trine 3 together. Wayne played some more LoL, but only ARAMs, and has been playing Tech Support. Ken played board games themed after Game of Thrones, played Paladins on his phone, and lot of World of Warcraft. PC gaming is still strong and growing, which is showcased by the number of concurrent users that have been reported on Steam. Yes you can max level WoW without a faction. He got some new photography equipment. The guys then discuss the value of having goals. This week Wayne isn't the only one to suffer some car troubles, it seems that Ken has had his fair share while traveling for work. Thankfully KF is now the breadwinner in the family. Ken has also had to be a real mentor at school. Wayne is still having to work on all of his vehicles to keep himself safe and mobile on the roads. To offset being responsible, he has setup some of his Halloween decorations for the season. In Geek Cred, Kopii reminds us that Ken's Birthday is coming up this very week! Ken continues to play all of the WoW and is still having a great time. Even while doing the show. Ken regails us with stories of his adventuring in his favorite expansion outside of Wrath. Ken has also been having issues with his mobile pocket communicator. So he decided to go pick up a new cellular phone. Wayne hah once again broken his Skyrim install... Instead of fixing it he is instead looking to learn how to use a Macbook and Apple OSX for the first time. He is still enjoying Mechwarrior and recommends the Netflix Marvel shows as he just finished watching Luke Cage. Condolences to the victims and families of the Orlando shooting. Ken has been busy this week and is getting ready to Go Ape with his father. The guys take a moment to advise everyone to get out there and exercise. Wayne went out with Sarah to see The Cure in concert. Apparently it was a heck of a show. In Geek Cred, Serathis writes in about his experience watching the new Warcraft movie and playing Doom. Ken has some time to try out new apps on his phone, including how to learn things with Khan Academy. Ken doesn't like to share his Facebook moments though... He did kill a lot of zombies with Hando's help in Dead Rising 2. Ken also binges some Big Bang Theory so much that he now is sad for the characters. Wayne is finally able to see things in VR as he received his new and shiny Oculus. He has been showing it off to as many people as he can to share the VR goodness. Show X's 250th episode. Wayne is fresh back from his trip to Canada and Ken is recovering from a drunken Tankfest celebration. Tankfest consisted of live bands, lots of meat, and a knock off of terrible liqour. He even managed to only annoy neighbors over a block away from the party. Wayne spent a week in Canada at Anime North and with Kopii in the Niagra region. He shared with his SnapChat followers all of his adventures of high humidity, Niagra Falls, bagged milk, and Anime North. The Concours de Elegance car show also happened today and Wayne just barely made it back from the shiny cars in time to start the show. He and Fork are also prepping to head to see The Cure in concert after the show. Ken had the special opportunity to see the new Warcraft movie a week before most of the rest of the world. He watched the movie in 3d IMAX. Overall, if you are a fan of Warcraft, then you will likely enjoy this movie. If you are not, you may be a bit confused. Ken and Hando have been trying to enjoy their time in The Forrest. Unfortunately they can't build a safe structure. This drove them to killing orcs in Orcs Must Die. Ken tried to play Playstation 2 games on his phone... but failed. At least he experienced a lot of throwback fun by revisiting games from his youth, especially Future Cop LAPD. Wayne played a little League of Legends and Kerbal Space Program while on vacation, then as soon as he got home, he played Doom. Ken is having a wonderful day today as he jams his way into another episode of Show X. It is the Christmas season everywhere else in the world, while the United States struggles to wait until after their Turkey Murder day to start the celebration. Ken is especially excited because of all of the great food that Christmas brings about as he only remember significant moments in food. Ken is tyring to get into his winter routine of starting to exercise, that way he can do a Tough Mudder with his family and friends. Ken is also enjoying his freedom of speech being a university professor and having people around him that enjoy stimulating conversation and debate. Go figure, this completely derails the show as Wayne gets all huffy about people being offended. Wayne has consumed some fun media this week with the Marvel/Netflix release of Jessica Jones and the last Hunger Games movie. Today is a special day as we celebrate Ken's entrance into the world, 23 years later. Kitten Features made Ken a proper American sized meal to celebrate. Wayne went out to celebrate, but for another friend's birthday with country dancing. And Kopii lets us know to also celebrate "Turkey Murder Day" in Canada, since everyone knows that the official Thanksgiving happens in November.
