2023 spelar Skövde AIK sin andra säsong i Superettan. På läktaren står Kurt och Simon Lindgren. Far och son som följer Skövde AIK land och rike runt, i ur och skur. Den 24 november var Simon Lindgren med i Fotbollsmorgon och pratade om att han då gick mot sin första perfect season, det vill säga att han sett Skövde AIK på plats varje match. Två veckor senare, närmare bestämt 4 december, är pappa Kurt med och pratar om sin vadslagning – klarar Skövde kontraktet så kommer han GÅ hem från jobbet. Från Skara, hem till Skövde. En promenad på sex timmar i novembermörkret.Två år senare skiljer sig verkligheten för Skövde AIK. Stāsta izdevniecības “Liels un mazs” izdevēja un līdzīpašniece Alīse Nīgale. Līdzās latviešu oriģinālliteratūrai bērnu grāmatplaukti regulāri papildinās ar tulkojumiem no dažādām valodām, un, atšķirībā no satura, ko bērni iepazīst internetā, šīs grāmatas bieži vien nenāk no globālās angliski runājošās pasaules, bet gan no dažādām citām valodām. Latvieši izsenis jutuši simpātijas pret Ziemeļvalstu literatūru. To apliecina arī izdotie 14 tulkojumi no zviedru valodas un 8 no norvēģu valodas. Tulkotāja Mudīte Treimane, kura sen pazīstama kā lieliska Astridas Lindgrēnes latviskotāja, mums atvērusi arī trakulīgo, hipijisko Barbru Lindgrēnes stāstu “Loranga”. Savukārt tulkotāja Jolanta Pētersone parādījusi gan to, cik traki asprātīgs spēj būt Ērlenns Lū – grāmatas “Kurts” un komiksa “Kurš sasēdēja brūno sieru?” autors – gan to, cik siltas un draudzīgas, Norvēģijas kalnos mītošās sirdis attēlo rakstniece Marija Parra. “Liels un mazs” ziemeļnieku plauktā atrodamas arī trīs somu un divas islandiešu grāmatas. Tulkota ne tikai proza, bet arī dzeja. Somu dzejnieces Heli Lāksonenas krājumu “Piec ait kalns” Guntars Godiņs atdzejojis īpašajā “Heli valodā”, ko viņš uzbūvējis uz Vidzemes lībiešu valodas bāzes, lai atveidotu dienvidrietumu Somijā runāto valodu, kurā raksta Heli.  Savukārt zviedru klasiķa Ulfa Starka iedomu “Zvērus, kurus neviens nav redzējis, tikai mēs” dzejoļus atdzejojis Juris Kronbergs, bet Starka dzejoļus par mazo “Diktatoru” – un Uldis Bērziņš. Šie atdzejojumi, tāpat kā izcilie prozas tulkojumi, spilgti parāda, cik lielā mērā tulkošana nāk par labu latviešu valodai – tā atraisa un liek lietā mūsu pašu valodas bagātības, iedzīvina iespējas, kas snauž valodā un rosina lasītāja valodas iztēli.     Visi, kas lasījuši kādu no Ineses Paklones tulkojumiem no nēderlandiešu valodas vai redzējuši jocīgo skolotāju Jāpu, kuru Kaspars Znotiņš kopā ar Gunu Zariņu atveidoja izrādē, būs jautājuši, kādēļ tulkots no nēderlandiešu, nevis nīderlandiešu vai holandiešu valodas? Tulkotāja nav kavējusies sniegt pamatotu skaidrojumu: “Nēderlandiešu valodas skaidrojošās vārdnīcas ietver gan visu divpadsmit Nēderlandes provinču leksiku, gan arī šajā pašā valodā runājošo piecu provinču leksiku no Beļģijas flāmu reģiona. Holandiešu vārdi ir tikai maza daļa no visas šīs valodas bagātības. Nosaukumu Nīderlande esam latviešu valodā dabūjuši ar vācu valodas starpniecību (Niederland). Šo vārdu paši nēderlandieši izrunā kā Nēderlandi (Nederland). Abi vārdi nozīmē to pašu – Lejas zeme, Lejzeme. Man šķiet tikai valodnieciski pareizi un vēsturiski godīgi turēties pie valsts un valodas pašnosaukuma un tā izrunas.” Tulkojumi no franču valodas iepazīstina ar franču un beļģu bērnu grāmatām, tostarp slavenās mākslinieces Kitijas Krauzeres bilžu grāmatām, kurās viņa ir arī teksta autore. Kitija dzīvo Beļģijā, viņas vecāku dzimtās valodas ir zviedru un angļu, bet savus darbus viņa sacer franciski. Kitijas īpašo jūtīgumu un niansēto vizuālo valodu ietekmējis arī tas, ka viņai kopš bērnības ir dzirdes traucējumi. Viņas domāšana un tēmu izvēle ir brīva no stereotipiem. Negaidītie, pārsteidzošie tēli atklāj noslēpumu pilnu pasauli, kurā māksliniece meklē cilvēcību un iejūtību.   Savukārt Ingmāras Balodes un Māra Salēja tulkojumi un atdzejojumi iesniedzas Polijas, Ukrainas un Čehijas literārajā telpā. Īpaša draudzība izdevniecību Liels un mazs” vieno ar Ļvivas izdevniecību “Starij Lev” un tās autoriem – Romanu Romanišinu un Andriju Lesivu, kuru bilžu grāmatas “Karš, kurš pārvērta Rondo” izdevums latviešu valodā ir izdevēju un grāmatas pircēju ziedojums Ukrainas atbalstam. This week, Justin speaks with Kimberly Muse, daughter of Kurt Muse. Kim grew up in Panama, where her father was became the leader of a group of activists in protesting against General Manuel Noriega via radio transmissions. Their work caught the attention of the CIA, and they even received support from the agency for their efforts.In spring of 1989, Kurt was suddenly arrested at Panama City Airport as he was returning from a trip to the United States.
