This week we are finishing our study through the book of Galatians, learning the Good News of Christ and the freedom found in salvation through Jesus. In the final chapter, Paul addresses the church urging them to keep each other accountable and to bear one another's burdens. As we strive to walk in the Gospel we must keep in step with God's spirit. We can do this by immersing ourselves in Christ-centered community and freedom. God gave us the gift of fellowship; we have each other to lean on and to have accountability as we walk in the light of God's spirit. Tune in to the last message of the series, Walking in the Gospel, and be encouraged to remain in step with the spirit.

The monthly Men's Breakfast Bible Study at OAG taught by the Men's Ministries Director, Mr. Gator Fort. ** Edited to remove personal information shared in the class and extended pauses ** Title: The Whole Enchilada: Embracing God's Purpose and Promises Summary: In this Bible Study, Mr. Gator emphasizes the importance of fully committing to God's purpose in our lives, using the metaphor of taking up "the whole enchilada" in our spiritual walk. He encourages men to embrace their roles in their families and communities, actively live out their faith, and claim the promises God has given them. Outline: 1. Introduction: The Call to Embrace God's Purpose Testimonies of Ray and Mr. Gator: The importance of realizing and acting on God's purpose. The metaphor of "the whole enchilada" – committing fully to God's plan. 2. The Importance of Spiritual Commitment Talking with God constantly and creating a dedicated time for prayer. Memorizing Scripture and embedding God's Word in our hearts. Engaging in praise and worship as a vital part of spiritual life. 3. Sharing the Hope of Christ The significance of sharing personal testimonies with others. Encouraging others, especially family, to embrace faith. Living as an example – the importance of actions aligning with words. 4. Taking Control of Your Spiritual Walk Controlling your attitude, effort, and actions in daily life. Understanding that others are always watching your example. Being intentional in living out your faith in everyday situations. 5. Claiming and Standing on God's Promises Meditating on God's promises and standing firm in faith. Trusting in God's constant presence and support during challenges. Encouragement to take authority over situations through the Word of God.

As a child, Kathy wanted to be a nurse. She completed her first year of nursing classes at Columbia Union College, while also taking voice lessons. By the end of that year, she felt called to be a music teacher.Kathy sang her first solo when she was five years old for Adult Sabbath School. Thanks to her parents, music education was an important part of her life as she began piano lessons in 2nd grade, sang solos and with choirs, played flute during her elementary and academy years, took harp lessons, and continued voice lessons with her teacher at  Southern Missionary College. Kathy completed a Bachelor of Music Education in voice (1983), followed by teaching school music (1983-1984), and elementary certification at CUC (1984-1985). She gained teaching experience by providing music classes, giving private lessons, and directing children's and adult choirs.Before completing an M.Ed. in music at the University of Maryland (1985-1990), Kathy taught 4th /3rd elementary classes at John Nevins Andrews School (1989-1994) her childhood elementary school. Favorite activities include worship, Bible classes, and teaching students to praise God by presenting Bible musical dramas. Kathy married her husband, Rick, in 1987.Kathy then taught K-11 music at Spencerville Adventist Academy (1994-1999) until Rick was called to work as the VP of Finance for the Carolina Conference. After moving to Charlotte, Kathy taught music lessons and classes at several SDA schools, planned music for conference events, and camp meetings, and directed the camp meeting choir. Rick and Kathy were blessed by God with the adoption of their son, Bradley Russell from Ukraine (2002), and their daughter, Grace Russell from China (2008). Kathy has loved being a mom and homeschooling her kids!Before Grace arrived, Kathy was invited to lead as Children's Ministries Director for the Carolina Conference (2007). Her work is to equip Children's Ministry leaders to help children know and love Jesus. Leading Primary and Kindergarten, supporting Adventurers and leading Pathfinders, preaching evangelistic campaigns, and recording Kathy's Kids StoryTime, have all contributed to Kathy's personal growth in ministry.During her extensive work with children in the Carolinas, those who served with her recognized the spiritual depth and extensive pastoral ministry that Kathy is providing to these young people—that she is truly the Children's Pastor for the Conference—and rightfully recommended that she be Commissioned.She is grateful to God for allowing her to do ministry with Rick. She is grateful for the love and support of family and friends, and for the way God has used her life experiences to prepare her for the next steps in His service. Kathy is willing to follow God where He leads.

A Sermon by Dr. Michael Caparrelli, founder of Unmuted, giving those who were victimized by traumatic experiences their voices back Anger with Aim Be angry but do not sin Erosive anger Explosive anger Look under the hood, Genesis 4:6 Anger with sin   Ephesians 4:26 KJV 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:   Michael Caparrelli was born and bred in Providence, Rhode Island, a troubled kid who squandered his adolescence in institutions such as juvenile jails and psychiatric hospitals. When he was 18 years old, his life was transformed by the power of Jesus Christ, and he was fathered by Pastor Pat Manzo, the current Superintendent of New England and New Jersey Teen Challenge. In 2004, he graduated from Zion Bible College with his Bachelors Degree in Biblical Theology and was appointed the Ministries Director and later on, Ministries Pastor, under Pastor Manzo's leadership as well as Pastor Tony Palow at NPAG. Under his oversight, he started over 25 support groups and small groups within that congregation that focus on subjects such as addiction recovery, anger management and other relevant subjects. From 2006-2008, he served as an instructor at Zion Bible College; teaching classes in performing arts - acting, writing and directing plays. He also wrote, directed and produced 10 drama productions that were showcased in 8 different venues throughout New England, New York, drawing audiences of thousands of people. In 2009, he graduated from Liberty University with his Master's Degree in Education. In that same year, along with 25 people, he started Sacred Exchange Fellowship as a church plant under North Providence Assembly of God covering. The vision of that church plant was to become a spiritual hospital for the spiritually sick. From 2009 to 2019, it has grown from 25 people - nearly 300 people with two services every Sunday morning. In January 2020, he finishes his PhD in Behavioral Science with an emphasis upon Addiction Psychology. His doctoral dissertation is entitled, 'The Impact of Involvement With the Evangelical Church upon the Recovery Journey of People with Chemical Addictions". Currently, he's a keynote speaker in churches, schools and other venues across the nation on subjects such as depression, addiction, grief, early childhood trauma, etc. His non-profit organization, UNMUTED, is geared towards giving those who were victimized by traumatic experiences their voices back. In January 2020, his book entitled, "Pen your Pain Into Parables: a therapeutic tool for those recovering from trauma" will be released along with an accompanying journal.
