Hörspiel über Alltagsrassismus in Frankreich und die Gewaltgeschichte Namibias während der deutschen Kolonialzeit - von Penda Diouf. Die Schauspielerin und Dramatikerin Penda Diouf hat senegalesisch-ivorische Wurzeln und lebt in Frankreich. 2010 reiste Penda Diouf nach Namibia, in das Land Frankie Fredericks, den sie seit Kindheitstagen verehrt hat. Frankie Frederick hat die ersten olympischen Medaillen für seine Heimat gewonnen. Heimgekehrt ist Penda mit "Pisten", einem poetischen Reisebericht über eine Fahrt ins Herz der Erinnerung. Sie verbindet die Geschichte ihrer eigenen Diskriminierung als Heranwachsende in Frankreich mit der Gewaltgeschichte Namibias während der deutschen Kolonialzeit. Allein reist sie durch die Namib-Wüste und stellt historische wie zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen über Zeit- und Sprachgrenzen her. Doch die Weite der Namib-Wüste und das gleißende Licht bergen das brutale Erbe der deutschen Kolonialherrschaft, deren Verbrechen an Hereros und Namas als erster Genozid des 20. Jahrhunderts gelten. "Pisten" ist eine bewegende Hommage auf die Opfer des Völkermords und auf seine Held*innen. Zudem offenbart ihr seismografischer Report auch die Situation der nachgeborenen Generation, die sich damit abfinden muss, dass Recht und Gerechtigkeit niemals wiederherstellbar sind. Für die Hörspielumsetzung hat Penda einige Ebenen aktualisiert, im Bewusstsein des Unabschließbaren. Das in der Regie von Christine Nagel entstandene und von Abak Safaei-Rad gesprochene Hörspiel macht diese Verknotung, dieses Geflecht, die Nadelstiche spürbar. Nagel ergänzte abermals Material und verwebt dies mit der Musik von Niko Meinhold zu einem eigenen Muster. So wird Satz für Satz, Faden um Faden klar, dass die Debatte um "Entschädigung" oder "Wiedergutmachung" nur transnational und interkulturell geführt werden kann. Germany announced on May 28, 2021 that it had achieved a Reconciliation Agreement with Namibia.Between 1904 and 1908, it committed genocide against the Herero and Nama peoples in South West Africa (now Namibia), according to this agreement. The German Bundestag (German Federal Parliament) and the Namibian Parliament must yet approve the deal.
