He is an old student of Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (Presec) and He also Studied Bachelor in Science Business Administration at University of Ghana. He appeared on Ghana's National TV (GTV) to perform an Original Poetry on Ghana's Independence Day Celebration. “On my first big stage to perform in front of a massive audience, I blacked out, I couldn't see anything and I froze on the stage” I wanted to quit poetry too because I felt I could never do it again. He opened up about how he became a poet and how he perfected the act. A lot know him as the Man with the Hat, he went ahead to explain why he is always in a hat. He spoke about his fears and how he overcame his stage fright. -In the interview we learnt about -How to overcome our fears -Reasons why one need to be consistent -Why you can't disappoint those who believe in you Open your mind for an amazing journey on how to build courage and confidence in your dream. Scottie Miller's latest musical project is a book of Scottie's poetry and a CD of some of the poems set to music. The music ranges from blues and jazz to string quartets. Some call the combination of performed poems with music, beat poetry. The book and CD are titled Carnival Cocoon, and Scottie's release event is Wednesday October 26 at the Dakota in Minneapolis. Here's the good news. We can get it back. We can create it internally and choose to live there instead of in the chaos that our suffering and social pressures choose to enmesh us in. Particularly for survivors of intimate partner violence, domestic violence and child abuse, having this space is vital. Your home can be unshakeable. Because the strength you have and show just by being here is capable of accomplishing that. I had a great in person and socially distanced conversation with an old friend from my childhood, Bo Davis. Bo has been on "Human Talk" several times, in fact, even being the guest on the first episode I posted. He recently moved to the city I live in, Lexington, Kentucky, and I had to have him in the studio. We discuss many interesting topics, but mainly dabble in nihilism, applied philosophy, finding your own personal truths, and he shared some cool news involving the publishing of some poems he has written.
