What's up to my demagogic drum fish and disputatious dunkers!   Welcome back to the BNP everyone and thank you for joining! To my patrons, you all are the spiral arms of my galaxy and the selenium in my brazil nuts- you are appreciated! Well friends, hold onto your butts, because this one's a doozy. In addition to the audio tidbits you know and love, I dive into some heady and provocative topics this week. In weeks past I've discussed a concept I refer to as "The Adversary," or the spirit of negative disruption and darkness that causes unnecessary suffering here on Earth. This week I was moved to dive into one particular aspect of this Adversary: the International Biomedical Cartel. Science only operates cleanly when there is room for dissenting opinions and troublesome hypotheses. When you are no longer allowed to question certain scientific dogmas, then it becomes a kind of religion. Hence we see the rise of Scientism and its attendant high priests' rule by fiat, selective funding and intimidation of dissent to preserve the hegemony of the establishment plunderbund.Featured in this week's episode is an interview with Kary Mullis, published in Spin magazine in July of 1994 and conducted by Celia Farber. Mullis won a Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1993 for the invention of the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test. He became a controversial figure for refusing to stop asking pesky questions of Fauci, Gallo, and the medical establishment. Finally, I explore the potential links between the meteoric rise of peanut allergies and the use of peanut oil as an "excipient," (or adjuvant) in inoculations. Adjuvants are ingredients added to shots which compel a more intense immune response by the body. Aluminum is another commonly utilized adjuvant. Help keep the BNP on the air by becoming a patron at www.patreon.com/noetics. For as little as $1/month, you become a partner in the BNP. Help make the magic happen (and help me to afford groceries!) Geert Vanden Bossche received his DVM from the University of Ghent, Belgium, and his PhD degree in Virology from the University of Hohenheim, Germany. He held adjunct faculty appointments at universities in Belgium and Germany. After his career in Academia, Geert joined several vaccine companies (GSK Biologicals, Novartis Vaccines, Solvay Biologicals) to serve various roles in vaccine R&D as well as in late vaccine development. Geert then moved on to join the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's Global Health Discovery team in Seattle (USA) as Senior Program Officer; he then worked with the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) in Geneva as Senior Ebola Program Manager. At GAVI he tracked efforts to develop an Ebola vaccine. He also represented GAVI in fora with other partners, including WHO, to review progress on the fight against Ebola and to build plans for global pandemic preparedness. Back in 2015, Geert scrutinized and questioned the safety of the Ebola vaccine that was used in ring vaccination trials conducted by WHO in Guinea. His critical scientific analysis and report on the data published by WHO in the Lancet in 2015 was sent to all international health and regulatory authorities involved in the Ebola vaccination program. After working for GAVI, Geert joined the German Center for Infection Research in Cologne as Head of the Vaccine Development Office. He is at present primarily serving as a Biotech / Vaccine consultant while also conducting his own research on Natural Killer cell-based vaccines. https://www.voiceforscienceandsolidarity.org/scientific-blog/predictions-gvb-on-evolution-c-19-pandemic  https://twitter.com/GVDBossche  HELP ME CROWDFUND MY GAMESTOP BOOK. "I had never seen a clause like this, and it basically stipulated that the Wuhan Institute of Virology could demand that the Galveston National Laboratory—again, a taxpayer-funded U.S.-based lab—would have to delete files, pathogens, materials.” We sit down with National Pulse investigative reporter Natalie Winters to discuss the Galveston National Laboratory's memorandum of understanding with the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And we also discuss her extensive research into Chinese Communist Party influence in America, from TikTok to compromised “fact-checkers” to serious conflicts of interest among the individuals that shaped America's COVID-19 policy. “Even since COVID-19, millions of dollars have continued to pour out of this country, taxpayer funds, to Chinese Communist Party-run labs and to fund research in China—when we know there's no transparency.” Editor's Note: Our team reached out to Galveston National Laboratory for comment, and we have since received the following email statement from a spokesperson from the University of Texas Medical Branch, which runs Galveston National Laboratory: “The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) takes responsibility for the oversight in allowing memorandums of understanding (MOUs) to include a provision in conflict with applicable laws that guide UTMB's operations … Although MOUs are nonbinding and do not serve in any way as contractual agreements, upon learning of the error, the University of Texas System immediately directed UTMB to terminate any MOU that contained language that conflicts with law and policy. The University of Texas System recently launched a review of processes and practices at UTMB and is putting into place new levels of oversight for procedures. UTMB confirms no documents or confidential information has been destroyed, nor have requests been received to do so.” Twitter: https://twitter.com/EpochTVus Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/EpochTV Truth Social: https://truthsocial.com/@EpochTV Gettr: https://gettr.com/user/epochtv Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/EpochTVus Gab: https://gab.com/EpochTV Telegram: https://t.me/EpochTV

Leila Alejandra is a Master Thesis Student, where she is working in the Virology lab trying to understand the evolution of myxoma virus in Spanish rabbit populations. Before her thesis, Leila had a numerous number of experiences that each impacted her journey substantially. This included being her time as a research student at IUPUI where she Performed human cancer cell culture experiments to study the relationship between hyperglycemia and cancer cell morphology through phosphoinositol signaling pathways and performed databased research on cancer patient populations to better understand the different effects from mutations on genes controlling enzymes on the phosphoinositol pathway. She also has some experience as a Particulates Biochemist at Eurofins as well. Every opportunity Leila had been faced with, she seized and went above and beyond. Opportunity does not always come right away, and Leila advises to be patient and wait because with time it will come, but in the meanwhile keep actively pursuing until somebody gives you a chance. Leila currently resides in Spain where she strives and works hard to complete her masters.

According to a treasure trove of about 10,000 pages of government documents, it turns out that the NIH was in fact funding virus alteration research over at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Specifically, the money was being funneled through a subgrant given to an organization called the EcoHealth Alliance. And what the researchers were doing was taking bat coronaviruses, altering them, and then seeing what these newly created viruses were doing inside of humanized mice. And according to the interim reports, which were included within this treasure trove of documents, it turns out that these lab-created viruses were at least 300 percent more deadly. However, the NIH came out after this fact was revealed, and they said that what they were doing did not qualify as gain-of-function research. ⭕️ Sign up for our NEWSLETTER and stay in touch

What's up to my sparkling space rays and rough n' ready rhythm robins! Welcome back to the BNP everyone and thank you for joining! This week's episode is a solo meandering affair, a bit of a throwback ep. I do hope you enjoy the goodly amount of zany audio tidbits, because they took me forever to make. But I do it for ye because I love ye. Topics include a heartening and uplifting interaction at the filtered water kiosk in S. Phx (NOT around the water cooler. No no no. This is a kiosk on the corner of Buckeye and 18th Ave and it is not a water cooler chat spot, I assure you). Remember to stay human everyone! Also discussed is the evolving situation in Mariupol with far right Ukrainian nationals harboring English speaking Santa's helpers who are equipping them with fancy shmancy NATO tech, and the frantic daredevil helicopter evacs to get them out. It begs the question: who are these mysterious Anglo speakers with pricy equipment and what are they hiding?  I also take a hot moment to rip into the slovenly hell gopher himself, Donald J. Trump, and his fucked comments at a recent rally about immigration. Next I dive into the latest FOIA drop of 100,000+ documents via a Vanity Fair investigation that reveal systematic fuckery at the NIH, shady Eco Health Alliance dealings, and fancy gov't cocktail parties with lobbyists. The docs also expose serious fugazi at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.  Did you know the Chinese government hid a bunch of critical genetic sequences of the virus... at the behest of Tony Fauci and the NIH!?!? They're working together folks. Yikes. Lastly, I tease an upcoming BNP book club book that Dr. Sylvie and I are gonna analyze! COMPLEXITY

Context is king: whether in language, ecology, culture, history, economics, or chemistry. One of the core teachings of complexity science is that nothing exists in isolation — especially when it comes to systems in which learning, memory, or emergent behaviors play a part. Even though this (paradoxically) limits the universality of scientific claims, it also lets us draw analogies between the context-dependency of one phenomenon and others: how protein folding shapes HIV evolution is meaningfully like the way that growing up in a specific neighborhood shapes educational and economic opportunity; the paths through a space of all possible four-letter words are constrained in ways very similar to how interactions between microbes impact gut health; how we make sense both depends on how we've learned and places bounds on what we're capable of seeing.Welcome to COMPLEXITY, the official podcast of the Santa Fe Institute. I'm your host, Michael Garfield, and every other week we'll bring you with us for far-ranging conversations with our worldwide network of rigorous researchers developing new frameworks to explain the deepest mysteries of the universe. This week on Complexity, we talk to Yale evolutionary biologist C. Brandon Ogbunu (Twitter, Google Scholar, GitHub) about the importance of environment to the activity and outcomes of complex systems — the value of surprise, the constraints of history, the virtue and challenge of great communication, and much more. Our conversation touches on everything from using word games to teach core concepts in evolutionary theory, to the ways that protein quality control co-determines the ability of pathogens to evade eradication, to the relationship between human artists, algorithms, and regulation in the 21st Century. Brandon works not just in multiple scientific domains but as the author of a number of high-profile blogs exploring the intersection of science and culture — and his boundaryless fluency shines through in a discussion that will not be contained, about some of the biggest questions and discoveries of our time.If you value our research and communication efforts, please subscribe to Complexity Podcast wherever you prefer to listen, rate and review us at Apple Podcasts, and/or consider making a donation at santafe.edu/give.
