The guys highlight the importance of understanding God's view on these subjects rather than adopting societal perspectives. For example, scholar Dennis Prager presents eloquent arguments that are often followed by Christians. However, he fails to address the heart of these issues from a Christian perspective. He claims that adultery is wrong because it's detrimental to society, rather than—as the Bible says—because it's sinful in God's eyes. Similarly, his interpretation of blasphemy doesn't align with the Christian view, and many Christians are led astray in this respect by his persuasive assertions.The severity of misusing God's name goes beyond mere speech. Using God's name in vain includes living a life that contradicts Christian principles, thus discrediting His name. The guys share their own experiences and efforts to honor God with their actions as much as their speech in various situations, with the prayer that their behavior not only honors God but also draws the lost to Christ.The guys conclude this episode pondering the gravity of using God's name in vain and its reflection on our faith. Today my guest is - when you think Bubbles, think Meadow Perry! One of the 124 most prominent bubbles magicians in the world according to OIBA! She was on the CW Masters of Illusion, did a week at the world famous Magic Castle in LA, and got a shout out from Penn Gillette of Penn and Teller! We talk about the genesis of bubble magic, how she got into bubble magic and push back against the notion that it isn't “real” magic – I mean really? Are there wizards somewhere doing “real” magic? We talk about her theater nerd days in high school, life on the road with kids, and how does her best to never be approached on the road. The show chronicles the adventures of Sabrina Spellman, a girl who discovers on her 16th birthday that she is a witch. The show, which was based on the Archie Comics series of the same name was a near instant hit and ended up with a seven season run. So with that in mind a sitcom about a witch living in Massachusetts seemed like the perfect Halloween episode for this year.
