Chinese automakers were once dismissed as low-quality imitators. Today, companies like BYD are producing vehicles that many industry experts say rival Western competitors on technology, quality, and price. As Chinese brands gain market share around the world, Congress is moving to keep them out of the United States. Automotive expert Lauren Fix joins us to explain why lawmakers and automakers see Chinese vehicles as a growing threat and whether America can realistically keep them out for good. Thanks to our Partners, NAPA TRACS, Today's Class, KUKUI, and Pit Crew Loyalty Watch Full Video Episode Is there really a motor oil shortage, or is the industry caught up in another wave of panic buying? In this episode of Remarkable Results Radio, host Carm Capriotto welcomes automotive expert Lauren Fix and Deckman Oil Territory Sales Manager Lee Rhodus to separate fact from fiction surrounding today's motor oil supply concerns. Together, they examine what's driving skyrocketing oil prices, why certain synthetic oils are becoming harder to source, and how fear-driven purchasing is creating additional strain throughout the supply chain. Most importantly, they discuss what repair shops and vehicle owners can do to navigate the uncertainty without making costly mistakes. What You'll Learn Why the world is not actually running out of motor oilHow global shortages of base oils and additives are impacting the availability of ultra-low viscosity synthetic oils such as 0W-8, 0W-12, and 0W-16.The role panic buying plays in creating artificial shortages and driving prices even higher. Why motor oil prices are increasing at unprecedented rates and what that means for repair shops and consumers. The risks of delaying routine maintenance as oil changes become more expensive.Practical advice for shop owners on managing inventory and communicating with customers during periods of market uncertainty. The current motor oil situation is real, but panic is making it worse. While supply constraints and rising prices are creating challenges across the automotive industry, experts agree that hoarding inventory and delaying maintenance are not the answers. Patience, informed decision-making, and a focus on preventative maintenance remain the best strategies for both repair shops and vehicle owners. As supply chains stabilize, those who avoid fear-based decisions today will likely be in the strongest position tomorrow. Lee Rhodus, Territory Sales Manager, Deckman Oil. Is your car watching you? I'm joined by automotive expert Lauren Fix, who exposes the multifront assault on American car ownership, from skyrocketing prices and insurance to the terrifying reality of mandated kill switches and surveillance tech. Lauren explains how government regulations, the EV mandate, and the push for "15-minute cities" are purposely making the good old American automobile scarce, unaffordable, and less reliable. Discover the dark truth about the "smart" technology invading modern vehicles, how data centers are fueling a new chip shortage, and why your car's privacy features are really just feeding a techno-feudalist surveillance state. If you value your privacy, your property, and your freedom of movement, you cannot afford to miss this deep dive into the real agenda behind the modern auto industry. At 29029 there are a subset of participants who take on the challenge of a mountain or a TRAIL event as a group:Some are families: spouses, kids with their parents. Some are friends: building their relationships. Some are co-workers, colleagues and leaders betting on the fact that doing hard things together creates exceptional opportunities for connection and growth. Wei-Li Shao started out as an individual tackling a mountain after the mountains in his personal life got big and scary and he needed a new definition of what was possible for himself. That first mountain at Snowbasin in 2023 changed Wei-Li. It challenged him so intensely that he needed to go back. There was unfinished business and untapped potential for growth. But he wouldn't return alone. He would invite his team. At Snowbasin 2024 the Omada Health Team would celebrate Summit Saturday in red…..every single one of them! The team's success translated into individual lives at work and at home. Omada as a company would make BIG moves in late 2024 and 2025 in lock step with their commitment and training to another challenge: TRAIL Park City. If you are looking for the cheat code to building and leading strong teams, keep listening Wei-Li Shao, Arvind Stokes and Lauren Fix have something to share.

Tu Le says there were plenty of bright spots in NIO Inc.'s (NIO) latest earnings, which he argues lays the groundwork for significant growth. He adds that it and Chinese competitors like BYD Co. (BYDDY) continue to push the "innovation envelope" as Tesla (TSLA) struggles to accelerate international sales. Lauren Fix makes the case that it's hard for any EV maker to break out in North America. She says there's not enough interest in EVs to generate profits companies are seeking. Another headwind Lauren labels: tariffs, and how they add to already expensive costs for most consumers.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day. Lauren Fix says the EV industry was in a bad spot before President Trump took office. She believes his tariff policy and revoking the EV mandate will accelerate deterioration. However, she believes Tesla (TSLA) leads the industry race. Ben Rose agrees when it comes to Tesla but is more optimistic on the future of EVs. Hour 1 - Mike Opelka in for Rich. It is Mike's first show since having COVID and he details his bout with the illness. Mike runs through the topics of today's show including RFK barefoot on a plane. Has DeSantis shot himself in the foot one too many times? TikTok is being used to distract and indoctrinate by our adversarial countries that may or may not want to see us fail. With Thanksgiving a week away, is it too early for New Years shopping? Hour 2 - Welcome to Liberland! Wait, Mike is the ambassador to a micronation? Nikki Haley wants to end anonymity on the Internet, why would she suggest something as dumb as that? Responding to a caller who did not like the bashing of DeSantis. Oh, what's that? We don't need COVID vaccine to be in the military? Will there be restitution to everybody who were forced out of a position due to their vaccination status? Pink is giving away “banned books” in Florida, but they're not really banned. Taking more of your calls. RFK Jr. was seen barefoot on an airplane coming back from the bathroom. On a commercial flight! Mike happened to stumble into watching an episode of The Daily Show where he saw interim host Leslie Jones go in on him. Joe Biden was speaking at APEC off the Red Bull and Prevagen drip and sounding good… sometimes. The word “vermin” is driving left-wing media attention this week after Trump used it in a speech. Vivek Ramaswamy makes it clear why they do that. Hour 3 - We kick off the commercial-free half hour with Gerald Posner, who joins us to discuss Robert Kennedy, as well as what went down in Israel on October 7th, the spin the war is getting stateside, the hostage situation in Gaza, the JFK assassination, as well as people justifying 9/11 thanks to Osama Bin Laden's letter to America going viral again..They also discuss the moment Gerald's writing pivoted and took off. Lauren Fix, The Car Coach, joins the program to discuss this kill switch that will go into effect in our cars in 2026 and everything happening in the world of automotives. Lauren's interview has struck a nerve and the tweets and calls are flooding in over the car kill switch in 2026. Hour 4 - Dr. Michael Roizen kicks off the final hour to discuss Covid, maintaining mobility for health, cleaning up walkways, downsides of living alone, and the decriminalization of psychedelics and health benefits. Mike plays some audio from protests in Washington D.C. Gordon Chang drops in to give us an update on what actually happened at APEC. Turns out we got a lot of promises, just like last time! How'd that work out? They also discuss unemployment numbers in China and how there isn't an uprising from the youth over lack of work because they just come here to the U.S. to work instead. How many of those migrants are saboteurs? Wrapping up with some Biden corruption as James Comer gives us a save the date!
The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 4: Rich is co-hosting a comedy show at Parx Casino Club 360 tonight—so, Mike Opelka hosts the final hour of the show! At 8pm on Thursday, President Joe Biden will deliver a televised address from the Oval Office. He is expected to discuss the ongoing Israel-Hamas and Russia-Ukraine wars and request additional funding—an estimated $100 billion—be appropriated to support American allies. While polling indicates a vast majority of Americans support funding Israel's attempt to eliminate Hamas, the war in Ukraine isn't viewed quite as favorably—largely due to the Biden Administration's inability to articulate a planned end to the warfare. Lauren Fix—automotive expert and analyst—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss the ongoing United Auto Workers (UAW) strike. You can find her work here: https://carcoachreports.com
The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (10/19/2023): 3:05pm- The Wall Street Journal reports, “Israel, the U.S. government and independent security experts cast doubt Wednesday on Palestinian claims that an Israeli airstrike was responsible for a deadly explosion at a Gaza hospital compound, saying the preliminary evidence pointed to a local militant group. Independent analysts poring over publicly available images of Tuesday's explosion at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza and its aftermath say the blast site doesn't bear the hallmarks of a strike with a bomb or missile of the types usually used by Israel….The U.S. has collected ‘high confidence' signals intelligence indicating that the blast at the hospital in Gaza was caused by the militant group Palestinian Islamic Jihad, U.S. officials said, buttressing Israel's contention that it wasn't responsible for the blast.” You can read more from the report from journalists Margherita Stancati, Yaroslav Trofimov, Nancy A. Youssef, and Stephen Kalin here: https://www.wsj.com/world/middle-east/israel-tries-to-back-up-claims-it-didnt-attack-gaza-hospital-a8cc3405 3:10pm- David Averre of The Daily Mail writes: “Israel's Defence Forces have released a slew of evidence they claim proves an overnight explosion at a Gaza hospital that killed hundreds of people was caused by a misfiring rocket launched by Palestinian Islamic Jihad. In an audio clip procured by Israeli military intelligence, two alleged Hamas terrorists can be heard discussing the explosion and confirming the rocket came from Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) - an independent jihadist group. 'They are saying (the rocket) belongs to Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It's from us?' one alleged Hamas member asks in the clip provided by Israel's military intelligence.” You can read Averre's article here: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12643229/Israel-blast-Gaza-hospital-Palestine-video-rocket-misfire.html 3:20pm- After initially promoting false claims that Israel was responsible for bombing a hospital in Gaza, Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is now walking-back her assertions. In a post on the social media platform X, Omar wrote: “Our office cited an AP report yesterday that the IDF had hit a Baptist hospital in Gaza. Since then, the IDF denied responsibility and the US intelligence assessment is that this was not done by Israel.” 3:30pm- On Thursday, the House of Representatives decided to hold off on a vote to fill the speakership position left vacant following the removal of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). The Republican nominee for speaker, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), received 199 votes on Wednesday's vote—well short of the 217 votes he needed to win a majority of the House and one fewer vote than he received on Tuesday. Jordan told reporters that he will not withdraw from the speakership race, but he is open to temporarily expanding the powers of Speaker pro tempore Patrick McHenry (R-NC) until the Republican party can coalesce around one candidate. 3:40pm- During a Pentagon press briefing, Defense Department Spokesperson Brigadier General Pat Ryder emphasized America's unwavering support for Israel and told reporters that the Biden Administration is monitoring Iran-backed proxies in case the war between Israel and Hamas expands throughout the region. 4:05pm- Fredrick K. Short Jr.—the father of three Cherry Hill high school students—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his lawsuit against the New Jersey Department of Education for its policy which allows schools to hide alterations to a student's gender identification from parents. Attorney Thomas Stavola Jr.—Short's pro bono attorney—believes that the school has infringed upon parental rights and is violative of the Fourteenth Amendment. You can read more about the lawsuit here: https://www.nj.com/education/2023/10/dad-sues-nj-school-district-and-state-over-policy-for-trans-students.html 4:40pm- On Thursday night, the Philadelphia Phillies travel to Arizona to face the Diamondbacks in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series (NLCS). The Phillies currently lead 2-0 in the best of seven series. 5:00pm- On Thursday, the House of Representatives decided to hold off on a vote to fill the speakership position left vacant following the removal of Rep. 5:10pm- Speaking with reporters on Capitol Hill, Rep. Matt Gaetz said he was “against speaker-light”—referring to a plan to expand the powers of Speaker pro tempore Patrick McHenry (R-NC). 5:15pm- In his latest report for The Daily Signal, John Strossel writes that California's air pollution regulations raise the cost of new shipping trucks from $190,000 to $260,000. Perhaps most alarmingly, these regulations are now starting to have an impact on Pennsylvanian truckers—with Pennsylvania's Environmental Quality Board deciding to mirror California's excessive environmental regulations. You can read Strossel's full report here: https://www.dailysignal.com/2023/10/18/californias-environmental-regulations-are-crushing-pennsylvania/ 5:20pm- On Thursday, former Donald Trump attorney Sidney Powell pleaded guilty in a Georgia election interference case. CNN legal analyst Elie Honig predicts that she will now become a prosecution witness—which he believes would be “devastating for Donald Trump.” Powell will have to pay just under $10,000 in fines, write an apology letter, and participate in future trials related to Georgia election interference. 5:40pm- While appearing on News Nation, former CNN chief media correspondent Brian Stelter condemned mainstream media for reporting on Hamas-propaganda as if it were credible. 6:05pm- Rich is co-hosting a comedy show at Parx Casino Club 360 tonight—so, Mike Opelka hosts the final hour of the show! 6:15pm- At 8pm on Thursday, President Joe Biden will deliver a televised address from the Oval Office.
