Depuis la sortie d'Absolute Batman, Nick Dragotta est certainement devenu l'un des artistes les plus en vue des comics mainstream (de super-héros). Ce qui n'est certainement pas démérité, mais le dessinateur impressionne depuis bien plus longtemps, ne serait-ce que pour sa grande fresque East of West, réalisée aux côtés de Jonathan Hickman, ou même Ghost Cage, un court récit certes un peu décousu, mais fascinant graphiquement.
