This episode is a listener request. Setting and maintaining boundaries, like so many things we've discussed on this show, is a lifelong responsibility (to yourself?).When the request came through, the person didn't specify physical safety or internal challenges. So we tackled both. However, we've talked about physical safety quite a few times. Here are some of the episodes. Our first episode was back in 2019! Here's the link:https://www.buzzsprout.com/477379/episodes/2089278In this episode we tackled wrestling in reality situations with our friend Shihan MdKinnon:https://www.buzzsprout.com/477379/episodes/9680753And here is our 3rd episode on Safety. On this one we specifically tackle safety at home:https://www.buzzsprout.com/477379/episodes/11142251That will keep your ears busy. If you're hurt and angered by unsolicited criticism, you come by it honestly through human biology. It activates our instincts. In the modern world, we navigate so many intrusive opinions about how we live our lives coming from people who aren't stakeholders in how we do life. Having a well-thought-out personal policy about who is and isn't invited to give advice, feedback, reflection, or criticism is useful in being able to navigate these situations effectively. Then we can fast track soothing our instincts and coming back to center, rather than ruminating on triggered, distorted reflections from unqualified sources. In our important relationships, it is vital to understand how we impact the other person directly, but we can still have boundaries about what opinions beyond their direct experience are invited. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! On this special day, you should share this podcast with those you love the most. Our episode was recorded live and can you believe we hit #41?! Us either. We kick things off by talking about the Super Bowl commercials. USA Today had a ranking and Nicole had some issues with their choices. Dan's favorite AND least favorite had something in common and we chatted about that. At some point, we also talked about Dan's time working at an airport, and there was a helicopter tie-in to that story, which I am pretty sure happened during this segment. What on earth is a small order fee?!?! Tune in to hear Dan's story and how companies have found yet another way to rip us off. Oh Costco, I love you but you need to set BOUNDRIES. A woman returned a couch after 2.5 years and they took it back. Dan is torn on whether we should hate this person but Nicole is pretty firm on her opinion. Someone stole a 200-foot RADIO STATION TOWER, and there are a lot of questions we have about several aspects of that story. Check it out and let us know what you think. Check out our website at stillspinningpodcast.com for more information on merch and how to become a Spinner. And remember, all episodes are now filmed LIVE at 7 PM CT, and you can watch in real time on Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram!

This week we discuss the latest trend of preteen girls over stepping their boundaries while plowing thru cosmetic venues. Our topic was sparked by an Instagram post by Bethanny Frankel of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York. As GenX'ers we never got moms credit card at 10 to run rampant thru a mall unintended. You were lucky if you gor a gumball for a quarter. At that was only if you didn't bother your Mom. We certainly never spoke to adult women in the manner that The Alpha Generation speaks to adults. Has unattended social media use led to this? Everybody wants to be an influencer? Young girls using Retinol and 6 year olds doing Get Ready With Me Tik Tocks ? What???
In praising G-d for day 2 of creation, we appreciate boundaries embedded within creation and explore the need for boundaries in our own lives.

OMG Duckies… it's Manny Oso's favorite segment, again. You all Love to Love It! The World Hates Women: Boundaries Hate Women. That's right. This week, we were blessed with, not one, but two examples of of the War On Women. You Nicky and Manny just had to give you the 411. Keke Palmer has a hater in her mix. She attended an Usher performance and when the outfit was revealed, the Nope actor's baby daddy tweeted out something negative about it and it got him some major heat on the Twitterverse. Soon after that, Jonah Hill's ex girlfriend went public with receipts on his apparent toxic relationship traits. Read the screen shots. The list of demands he asks if her are highly questionable. Boundaries. The word gets thrown around a lot, but not often used correctly. Sure, all sexes & genders have culprits that impose unrealistic and unreasonable “boundaries” on others. But let's be real, cuz in this episode we're talking about guys using “boundries” to keep women down… cuz you know, apparently, the world hates Women. But anyways you tell us! - Do you think Jonah Hill is outta line? - Is Therapy Talk being over used an abused by the unprofessional's out there? - What are your unreasonable “Boundries”? (Fake answers only) Did you read Jonah Hill's texts? It's only real if TMZ reported it: https://amp.tmz.com/2023/07/08/jonah-hill-ex-girlfriend-sarah-brady-posts-texts-blasts-him/ What do you think of what Darrius Jackson tweeted about Keke Palmer… oh yeah, that's his name: https://www.sportskeeda.com/amp/pop-culture/news-what-darius-daulton-jackson-say-keke-palmer-tweet-sparks-backlash-amid-usher-concert-outfit-remarks To keep up with the Ducks in charge follow: FB & IG: @Bubblebathstories Nicky Trendz IG: @nickyTRENDZ Manny Oso IG: @gotnotime4diss For official Merch head over to Bubblebathstories.co
