VIBE CHECK – We're feeling weird about being 1 year into the pandemic. But Danielle and her family watched The Lion King (1994, of course) and Gwen watched Coming 2 America and made Molly Yeh's Spiced Tomato ABCs (which is basically Spaghetti-Os)! * READING SLUMPS – Like so many other readers, we've gone through a reading slump during the pandemic, and we may still be in one... but we have some ideas about why and what to do about it. Gwen suggests scheduling time to read and sticking to it and be ready to work up to reading for longer and longer periods of time. She also suggests reading books of TV/Movies that have been adapted that you've already watched (GENIUS!). For example, she is thinking about rereading the Bridgerton book series... Danielle is already doing this! Also, they still make movie tie-in books!! Danielle suggests reading Harlequin Desire Category Romances, including (but not limited to) the Blackout Billionaires series by Naima Simone, the Bourbon Brothers series by Reese Ryan, as well as Karen Booth and Jules Bennett.   Don't sleep in graphic novels: Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples, Nimona by Noelle Stevenson Also, give rereading a try: The Reluctant Royals by Alyssa Cole, The Brown Sisters by Talia Hibbert, Sometimes in Love series by Melonie Johnson, The Widow of Rose House by Diana Biller, The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley, Wicked by Gregory McGuire * THE INTIMACY EXPERIMENT by Rosie Danan is in stores on April 6th, 2021! Rosie recommended books! Dalliance and Devotion by Felicia Grossman, Recommended for You by Laura Silverman, and The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon What's bringing Rosie joy? Watching competitive reality TV! Survivor, The Challenge, and Are You the One. * GOALS/WHAT'S BRINGING US COMFORT – Gwen started using the Morning Pages App and this has helped her meet her writing goals. The podcast Natch Beaut is a lot of fun! After listening to a recent episode, Gwen was inspired to start a daily gratitude practice. Gwen is looking forward to Spring TV, including the new season of Top Chef and Marriage or Mortgage. Danielle attempted to clean her desk, but it's really just organized chaos at this point. She also binged WandaVision last weekend and received her first book rec from her daughter: a My Little Pony Graphic Novel!

I spoke with Linda Stewart Nov 9, 2019 and we discussed how things are different between North America and France as far as our food and our processes surrounding intuitive eating and our cultural differences. We also discussed how books can be part of our intuitive process and how every single thing in our past builds on top of itself to bring us to our purpose or our destiny potentially to help us gather what we need to do what it is we are to do for the world. Linda's Bio I have been working in the field of fitness and wellness since 1980 after the realization that I could remake my life . Since then the fitness industry has evolved with a professional development path and certifications and through continual education I have attained certifications as a group fitness instructor, with specialities in boxing, rowing, aqua fitness, step, strength training and circuit classes. In addition, I am a Certified Personal Trainer and qualified to teach both yoga, and pilates.I completed two years of education in the Athletic Therapy program at Sheridan College in Ontario and successfully completed the course work and on site practical experience. I provided athletic therapy field care to a variety of sport teams including: football, hockey and lacrosse. As a result of these experiences I have insight into injuries, their assessment and rehabilitation as well as how to modify activities to suit recovery and develop fitness.I have worked with YM/YWCA of Canada, a municipality, private fitness facilities and as a contractor however, my favourite work experience was as the Fitness and Wellness Co-ordinator for McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. During my seven years at McMaster, I had the pleasure of training and evaluating fitness leaders and personal trainers as they prepared for their Certifications. One of the most significant accomplishments while at McMaster was the development and implementation of the Pulse Fitness Centre. As part of the Athletics and Recreation team, I played an instrumental role in this achievement including equipment selection, hiring and training a staff of over one hundred – fitness leaders, personal trainers and front desk staff. I also developed and taught a second year academic practicum course, focused on personal training and adult communication to over two hundred undergraduate students each year.Linda runs a company called Renewu and can be found at www.renewu.euLInda's favourite books are many but for fiction she loves reading Susanna Kearsley
