Dan put together an incredibly detailed custom scavenger hunt that had teams of Geeks running all around Epcot solving clues, completing challenges, and hunting down… ducks. Yes — ducks. Teams used a web-based app with geolocation Clues ranged from easy finds to deep Disney details Bonus points came from hidden “duck nests” And a live leaderboard kept the competition intense What made it even cooler? Dan's son Matt was running “command center” from home, verifying answers in real time and tracking scores. It wasn't just a game — it was an experience, and one that brought everyone together in a really unique way. Great Food, Drinks, and Disney Detours As always… no Geek meetup is complete without some incredible food stops along the way: 50's Prime Time Café – classic comfort food and hilarious server interactions Baseline Tap House – a perfect hangout spot for Geeks to regroup GEO-82 – charcuterie, bourbon flights, and elevated lounge vibes Three Bridges at Coronado – continuing the unofficial “burger challenge” And for some of the group… A truly unique experience at the Epilogue Speakeasy inside the Four Seasons, featuring: Hidden entrance and immersive storytelling Florida-inspired craft cocktails A full-on “experience” — not just drinks Meanwhile, others enjoyed a private Epcot fireworks cruise, proving once again that there's no “one way” to do Disney. We're taking you along on a whirlwind couple of days at Walt Disney World—complete with friends, food, drinks, and a few unexpected twists (including a surprise snake sighting near the Skyliner… yep, that happened).We kicked things off with snacks and sips at Bar Riva to see some Cast Member friends alongside our good friends Lucie and Caleb, and the fun just kept rolling from there. It's when three of the bridges on the Liffey will open and lift - allowing a parade of some 45 boats to sail up-river from Poolbeg up to the Matt Talbot bridge. A Newmarket-on-Fergus breast cancer survivor is reminding women in Clare that early detection can save your life. This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and studies show one in nine women will be diagnosed at some point in their life while 23% of those diagnosed are between the ages of 20 and 50. Later this month, the 3for3 Charity will be hosting its annual walk of Limerick City's Three Bridges to raise money for the Symptomatic Breast Unit at University Hospital Limerick. Newmarket resident Ciara Jones, who was diagnosed with breast cancer and the same day she found out she was pregnant, says an early diagnosis is crucial.
