Words Of Love 1 Thessalonians 4:18
Music: Song Of Peace, by Jonathan Urie
Author and professor Anita Heiss on her parents' story of romance, and how she brings true history alive in her work
As parents of a child with autism, we know firsthand how every small win feels monumental. Like the story of Zoe, a five-year-old girl with autism who recently spoke for the first time. Her mom gave her a phone to play a simple game of I Spy, capturing what would become a heart-melting moment. During her game, Zoe recorded herself saying, "This is my beautiful mom. She's the best mom. I love her so much." That was the first time Zoe's mom heard her say, "I love you." Imagine hearing those words from your child for the first time at age five! Moments like these are pure joy.
Today, Fr. Kirby encourages us to choose edification over destruction, aligning our words with Christian virtues.—Morning Offering with Fr. Kirby, July 2, 2024—————————Every morning, join Father Jeffrey Kirby as he begins the day with prayer and reflection. In a few short minutes, Father Kirby guides you in prayer, shares a brief reflection grounding your day in the Church's rhythm of feast days and liturgy, and provides you with the encouragement necessary to go forward with peace and strength. Let us do as the saints urge and begin our days in prayer together so as a community of believers we may join the Psalmist in saying, “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” (Psalm 5:3-4)

HOW YOU GOING TO SAY IT IF YOU CAN'T SPEAK IT!
Randy and Kev hit upon a phenomenal business idea after identifying a serious gap in the market where banjo players are concerned. The accordian is selected rather than a kazoo, we find that Arpeggio isn't the current AC Milan left back (who knew!), and Randy called his shot; well, on the album front at least! It's all going down on this week's episode and we'd like to drag you into the insane muck with us!If Randy were to title this episode, he'd probably call it "I love Queen, just not all their songs" or possibly, "Buena banda, mala canción"Today's episode covers Brian's synthy track from side two of "Hot Space", the soaring "Las Palabras De Amor (The Words of Love)"NOTE: If you want to skip ahead to Randy and Kev's manifestations and the wheel spin, that happens at 35:49!If you want to check out the Absofunkinlutely track that we used in the episode, "Soul Sucker", which was written by the Cardinal and included the album "Blues Kid City", you can check that out here. Today's monologue remembers first lady Rosalynn Carter and her legacy. He talks with Jason in Missouri about Jimmy Carter and Trump's interview on Univision. Then, he talks with Professor Corey Brettschneider about Trump's gag order arguments in appellate court, the Colorado judge who ruled Trump did incite insurrection, and a federal appeals court ruling that private plaintiffs can no longer sue over voting rights. Next, John speaks with Lance in New Orleans on the harsh abortion stance of Louisiana's new governor-elect. And then finally, it's the return of comedian Rhonda Hansome. They discuss how voting rights are being gutted and the P. Ditty abuse lawsuit. They talk with Memo in San Diego on the new right wing president in Venezuela and Jay in Washington D.C. on Biden's popularity declining with young people due to his support of Israel in the Israeli - Hamas War.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
As believers, we are called to love. We are also called to a special liberty, having been set free from our sins and flesh. In this sermon, Pastor Chris Rieber looks at how our liberty should inform the love we have for one another.

In this episode, I share with you the words I delivered at my mom's Celebration of Life. It was August of 2020 after her hard-fought battle with colon cancer. It takes grace, strength, and vulnerability to sit down and write a eulogy in honor of someone we love and have lost. This episode stands as a tribute not only to a remarkable mom but also as a guide for those who seek solace, inspiration, and guidance in the art of crafting and delivering a eulogy. Gather memories and stories, capture their essence and celebrate their life - in words and later, in life. @PaigeKornblueMedia www.PaigeKornblue.com

Nicole and Brian, both working in politics in DC for over two decades in marketing, advertising, consulting, communications, and writing, had long been wanting to transition out of politics. Mid 2021 something unexpected happened. As Brian was doing some research on how to apply his political speechwriting and media training to a new career, and as friends and family asked for help with their weddings, Brian and Nicole found they loved doing it. Kismet. VowsandSpeeches.com was born. Within a day of designing a fast-comprehensive website, sharing their idea with a few wedding industry friends, and buying Google search ads, they had their first client. A new niche was created helping wedding couples with unique vows and training in the delivery of their speeches. Clearly an underserved part of the wedding industry. They also serve new officiants with custom vows and wedding ceremonies. Listen to this fascinating story where a married couple trade in their political prowess for words of love. Words of Love How many of us have ever had a deep discussion with our kids about love? About what it is and what it is not? Love is a multifaceted term and the English language only has one word for it, but other languages, like Greek, have many. Greek's uses of its other terms for love can be for describing a parent, or the love of a spouse. An entirely different word for love is used for the love of a friend. And still, another word for love transcends all the rest. It is the kind of sacrificial and unconditional love that springs from God Himself. It can be so easy for our kids to get a distorted idea about love when this term is applied to the myriad relationship scenarios that life brings our way. We need to ask ourselves what are the biblical perspectives on love? Discussing Love with Shannon Bream Shannon is an American journalist and attorney. This song sucks. In this episode, I'll say why - we'll talk about Marshall McLuhan, butchering French, and how I should trust myself to make things that are weirder.
The Power of Words: Using Words of Love and Truth for Success and Building Trust Words are incredibly powerful and can be used for good or for evil. We must be mindful of the words we choose and keep our promises, as failing to do so can have negative consequences. We must respect the power of words and their promises in order to be great and reap the rewards of doing so. Key Lessons Words are incredibly powerful and can have positive or negative consequences. To be great, we must choose the right words and be truthful. People who don't keep their word are seen as untrustworthy and unreliable, and will likely face consequences as a result Keeping your word is essential to building trust and gaining more responsibility. Brian's previous passionate reflection culminates in "Las Palabras de Amor (The Words of Love)". He brings acoustic and electric guitars, synths and keys, and even provides lead vocals at a crucial moment; as well as haunting backing accents. Freddie's lead vocals are some of his most natural, tender and dynamic. John's bass arrangement includes surprising movement. And Roger's drumming echoes much earlier Queen albums (with plenty of magical cymbal work). If it wasn't obvious (because I must have said and sang the word so many times), I love this song. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/tater-thoughts/message

Georgina Godwin speaks to Teymour Shahabi – author of the award-winning YA mystery thriller ‘The Secret Billionaire' – about his new novel, ‘Words of Love'. The book is written entirely in text messages, emails, social-media posts and journal entries, and the genders of the two protagonists are never revealed.
In one way or another, over the course of about 2500 years, the Song of Songs has also been mystery of mysteries, allegory of allegories, love of loves, and even language of languages. Its verses are both lovingly crafted and enthrallingly disorienting. The Song of Songs polishes the many facets of love, raises up the physical and marvels at the transcendent, and in doing all this, exalts the very act of poetry. This documentary seeks out our best understanding of its origins, and tries to convey something of its power.
I have recently been thinking about the words that we hear and don't hear as children, and the relationship those words have with our adulthood. You see, between my mother's Lewy body dementia and my father's fading short-term memory, I'm often struck by the realization that the gates of opportunity to have loving conversations with them are closing.
