We're in that in-between space from AEW Revolution to WWE WrestleMania. AEW put on a heck of a show. WWE's gonna do what they do. Overall, we're still having fun, especially watching the likes of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson/Mox/Regal, Thunder Rosa, and Kevin Owens as they do their things. But with the fun, comes the real stuff too. We had to say goodbye to a childhood favorite in Scott Hall. And we saw a tragic accident occur with the beloved Big E (Langston.. we still put some respect on the name!). Join us as we find ourselves on the Road to WrestleMania (watch party, not the actual thing). RIP WrestleMania Road Trip. Long live the WrestleMania Road Trip! On this week's show, we focus a good chunk of time on breaking down this weekend's stellar AEW Revolution card. Between that show and the big news about Ring of Honor being acquired by Tony Khan, there's a LOT to speculate about. What will the championship scene look like in AEW? Who will the key power players be coming out of Revolution? What will become of ROH – do they operate as their own kind of thing, or do they become a developmental ground of sorts? Beyond that (and potentially related) – what will happen with guys like William Regal, Cesaro, and Samoa Joe. Between AEW, ROH, and other options like New Japan – the world is their oyster. We also take some time to talk about C*ntrol Your Narrative and the ridiculousness that surrounds that shitshow of an organization. BLAH. Join us, won't you? The kick off 2007, Sting could sense "the good" within Abyss and tried to break James Mitchell's "spell" over him. Meanwhile, Christian Cage had his "problem solver" back by his side as Tomko joined TNA, and now, Christian has his eyes set on Abyss's NWA Title. This lead to the Three Way Elimination match that main events Final Resolution '07. On the undercard, Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle are 1-1, both determined to break the tie in a 30-Minute Iron Man match. To open the show, AJ Styles and Rhino face off in TNA's version of a Last Man Standing match (which is basically Texas Death rules) and we also see Alex Shelley & The Austin Starr face off in the Paparazzi Championship Series finals. The Marks (Troy & Greg) take time out to talk about what the late, great John Madden meant to them before talking about news and rumors heading into WrestleMania 23, Konnan's major surgery, talks of Bob Sapp stepping into a wrestling ring, Wrestling Society X kicking off, and much, much more on a very meaty episode!CHECK OUT OUR MERCHANDISE: MainEventMarks.redbubble.com & bonfire.com/store/maineventmarksGET YOUR SPORTS SWAG ON FANATICS: fanatics.ncw6.net/jxzKMORDER FROM SWIFT LIFESTYLES: SwiftLifestyles.com, use PROMO CODE: MainEventMarks at checkout for 15% offLISTEN EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 8PM EST: unhingedsn.airtime.proALL PODCAST, SOCIAL MEDIA, & MERCHANDISE LINKS: linktr.ee/MainEventMarks Learn more about your ad choices. It's the end of Wrestling Society X and it left the airwaves with barely an explosion to write home about as MTV didn't even bother to air the finale on TV. But maybe WSX isn't about the ratings or the explosions or the musical guests... maybe it's about the friends we made along the way like Los Pochos Guapos, Fabian Kaelin, Team Dragon Gate, Teddy Hart's flippy shit, and, who can forget, ARIK CANNON! In the finale we finally get the Piranha Deathmatch we never asked for and an exploding timebomb deathmatch that we definitely asked for. As we go on, we remember all the times we had together.
