Hit Row was just called up to the main roster last month. Now, ALL of them are gone from WWE. Thursday's cuts follow the releases of 18 other talents just two weeks ago. The team of Allysin Kay & Marti Belle is the first to be announced for the NWA Women's Tag Team Title tournament happening at the Empowerrr pay per view on August 28th. (STINGER: WWE) New matches announced for NXT TakeOver 36 during last night's NXT. Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly will meet in a two-out-of-three falls match. Where both men each get to choose a stipulation for one of the first two falls. If it gets to a third fall, the stip will be decided by GM William Regal. O'Reilly is choosing a straight-up match for the first fall. Cole picked a Street Fight for the second fall. The third fall - if needed - will be inside a steel cage. Cameron Grimes will get another shot at LA Knight's Million Dollar Championship...and the end of his time working as Knight's butler.. But if Grimes loses at TakeOver, Ted DiBiase will become Knight's butler instead. Dakota Kai handed Sarray her first loss in NXT. Sarray was originally scheduled to face Ember Moon, but WWE announced before the show that Moon was not medically cleared. Odyssey Jones beat Trey Baxter to advance to the finals in the NXT Breakout Tournament. Pete Dunne pinned Ilja Dragunov with the Bitter End in last night's main event...after NXT UK Champion WALTER showed up late in the match. Dragunov got the better of WALTER after the match. Those two are set to meet for the title at TakeOver. Gigi Dolin beat Amari Miller. Dolin was also featured in a vignette during the show. There was virtually NO mention last night of Kross' Raw debut on Monday night - where he was pinned by Jeff Hardy in less than two minutes. Kross finally showed up at the very end of last night's NXT...standing over an unconscious GM William Regal in the parking lot. Kross sped away as Joe could only watch. Raquel Gonzalez is still the NXT Women's Champion. She beat Xia Li in last night's main event. The rest of Tian Sha were NOT on hand to back up Li. Xia Li appeared to be injured by a corner splash by Gonzalez. The match was stopped while the medical staff checked on her. After a minute or so, they allowed the match to continue...and Gonzalez quickly put Li away with a chokebomb for the pin. Odyssey Jones beat Andre Chase to advance in the NXT Breakout Tournament. WWE also referred to Johnson as the first African American female wrestler, when her distinction was being the first Black female wrestling champion. Johnson's family told filmmaker Chris Bourneau they've been in contact with WWE and were promised corrections will be made. Johnson's family also said they did not know she was being inducted until the ceremony aired. Some new details on the toll that storms took on WWE's production team during WrestleMania weekend. WWE Senior Vice President Duncan Leslie told Sports Video Group “some gear was compromised”, but their crews were ready with spares. Batista confirmed Tuesday he will NOT be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame during WrestleMania week. Batista was announced as part of last year's class. But he tweeted Tuesday that “previous obligations” will prevent him from attending the ceremony. He said he still plans to accept his induction at a future date. (STINGER: ROH) An injury to Dragon Lee is forcing Ring Of Honor to shake up the card for its 19th Anniversary pay per view coming up on Friday. ROH announced Tuesday that Lee needed surgery for a ruptured eardrum. That prevents him from traveling by plane. As a result, Kenny King will now step in to defend Lee's ROH TV Title against HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams. Bestia Del Ring will take Lee's place alongside King to defend the ROH Tag Titles against Williams and Rhett Titus. (STINGER: AEW) , An ankle injury will keep PAC from wrestling on tonight's AEW Dynamite. Taking his place will be Laredo Kid, teaming with the Lucha Bros. against the Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler. Also tonight, Darby Allin defends the TNT Championship against John Silver. Kenny Omega vs. Matt Sydal. If Sydal wins, he'll get a shot at Omega's AEW Championship. After the match, Angelico ran out to attack Dante, but Dante's brother and tag partner Darius Martin returned to AEW TV to make the save. Darius has been out with a knee injury.
