In their two-part discussion, the pair break down the charges, the politics and the potential industry impacts. A bill to bring affirmative consent policies to public universities and colleges across the state is headed to the governor's desk after passing the Legislature last week. The Salty Sex Cast is a sexual education podcast, recording from Utah, built around sharing positive messages around sex-related content. Their mission is to end fear and stigma and allow others to find their optimal level of sexual wellness. Host, Mariah, wants to save others from being 'salty' about their lack of sex education. ABOUT THE TEAM: Mariah (she/her) grew up in a strict religious home and the sex education she got was abstinence-only sex education in school. She was raised Mormon, where sex is not openly talked about and heavily shrouded in shame and feelings of “unworthiness”. Mariah is a Certified Health Education Specialist and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach with a graduate degree in Health Education. She is taking her educational background and personal experience to share positive, empowering, and entertaining messages around sex, sexuality, relationships, and all things sex-related. Her mission is to minimize the fear and stigma around those things and create more awareness and understanding for others to reach their optimal sexual wellness. Mariah is bisexual and has been happily married to her husband for 12 years. The two of them are raising 3 wonderful kids with their sweet dog, Daisy. Mariah currently works full-time as an educator for an online university, adjuncts for another local university, and runs her coaching business, Balance Your Wellness. Brady (he/ him) was born and raised in Utah and with the combination of a nurse for a mom and the prevalence of love lines on late-night radio he realized early on that the sex education he was getting didn't tell the whole story. With a brief background in radio and a passion for projects, he joined Salty Sex Cast shortly after it started, which bloomed into the creation of Murdershack Studios (murdershackstudios@gmail.com) while Brady loves to joke he is really passionate about learning more and more and growing his understanding toward his fellow human beings.
Trigger warning: RapeSex without consent is rape. Yet, according to the NGO, Amnesty International, in Europe, only 13 countries, feature laws, that define rape, in terms of the absence of consent. The latest country adopting such as a definition of rape is Spain, where, on the 25th of August 2022, the national Congress approved the so-called “Only yes Means Yes Law”. The journey for the approval of this law, began six years ago, after a Spanish court, ruled, that five young men, raping an 18 years old girl, in the city of Pamplona, was only an instance, of sexual abuse. That case - also known as “La Manada case” or, internationally, as "Wolfpack case," literally shocked Spain. On this episode of Europe Talks Back, host Alexander Damiano Ricci discusses this law with Maria Dios, junior editor of Europe Talks Back, who is from Spain and has followed the La Manada case from its beginning. I've had a lot of people send me messages telling me they want me to share my opinion on the new California campus sexual-assault bill also known as yes means yes. The reason for this bill is because there are about forty five colleges in the United States that are under investigation for the way they handle or mis-handle sexual allegations. Originally I wasn't going to comment on this bill also known as SB967 because last month it was only a proposal and the legislation was only being talked about. But as of Sunday September 29th, or two days ago it became law and now means that all private and public post-secondary schools in California receiving state funding will need to implement a policy of "affirmative consent." This means participants in sexual acts will need to constantly give consent throughout the act in order for there not to be potential rape or sexual assault charges. The problem with this bill is that it's too vague and subjective. It also puts the burden of proof on the accused. So what's a guy to do to protect himself from a law that forces him to prove that he asks a woman for sexual consent during the act itself? And let's get real here. Although the law doesn't target men specifically we know who it's written for. We know this is a law targeting males and will push more of them out of college. It leaves them vulnerable to attack from women that want to use their sexual power to possibly blackmail men or become supreme controllers of men. A few days ago a youtuber named Bill sent me a message about this and this is what Bill has to say: "College men are in the same position as black men in the American South prior to the 1960's and the Civil Right Movement. A black man could not even look at a white woman or he would be beaten or killed. If a white woman was coming down the sidewalk he had to step into the street. A black man never offered to shake hands with a white person. He would only shake hands if the white person (man or woman) held out their hand first. I think by pushing this the feminists have put the nail in the coffin of male/female relations. Even guys who are not going to college have figured out what is going on. I think women will actually believe that men are rapists. Why you ask? Well, because even Obama has jumped on the band wagon. Most women believe anything he says. I agree with you that MGTOW will surge now. I think the MRAs, although well intention-ed, are wasting their time. And the Feminist Nazis are clearly in charge of everything": Politics, Education, the courts, the media, the police etc. While some women may be unhappy with feminists the power of the feminist Nazis group is so strong that things won't change in our lifetime. The only solution is MGTOW. That's one of the quotes Bill sent me. I have a second one that I'm|going to read a bit later. But first I want to talk about Bill SB967 means for male female relations.Campus Rape: The Problem With ‘Yes Means Yes'http://time.com/3222176/campus-rape-t...No More Free Drinks - MGTOWhttps://www.youtube.com/results?searc...Patreon - Sandman MGTOW Linkhttp://www.patreon.com/sandmanSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Keenan, Sandy. Do you feel entitled to someone’s body if a) you take someone on a date b) a date occurs at your home c) your date knowingly becomes intoxicated d) there’s an already established emotional bond The answer to the above question has no “right” answer because each occasion may harm someone else. This week while discussing consent we: address coercion, invalidate physiological responses as a reason to assume desire, explain why the absence of “no” does not mean yes, and much more! We understand that sex, and anything involving it, can be considered taboo and difficult to candidly talk about — but that’s why we’re here❤️.
