Season 6, Episode 714: Building a Sex-Positive Community Through Multiple Ventures with guest Ms. Amanda Websites www.msamanda.net Studio www.kasbhstudios.com Main swinger page www.krazykasbh.com When Ms. Amanda describes her journey from camming to running Full Swap Radio and Kasbh Studio, she reveals something unexpected: excitement, not fear, fuels her work. This multifaceted creator has built an empire around authenticity in an industry often criticized for being artificial. Throughout the conversation, Ms. Amanda explains her approach to filming adult content with remarkable honesty. She manages her hormones strategically, rarely fakes scenes, and believes genuine reactions matter to audiences. (Her husband films most of her work, creating what she calls the ideal partnership.) She shares what makes someone truly successful in this unconventional career path. With a swinger event planned for Kansas City in January and legal brothel tours at the Love Ranch scheduled for summer, Amanda's calendar stays packed. Her podcast "Crazy Truth About Swinging" focuses on educational content about navigating the lifestyle community, emphasizing that practices from a decade ago no longer apply today. She's received an ASN award nomination, viewing recognition itself as meaningful regardless of winning. Despite elaborate consent forms varying across platforms like XHamster, Faphouse, and OnlyFans, Amanda operates her studio to guide aspiring performers through entering the industry. She stresses that chemistry and personality compatibility matter more than follower count or reputation, everyone starts somewhere. **Listen to discover how Amanda balances multiple business ventures while maintaining authenticity in every performance.** Topics: From Camming to Building a Swinger Empire Discussing Favorite Music and Film Acting Body Image and Self-Consciousness Editing Your Own Content and Self-Perception Communication and Preferences in Adult Content Career Longevity and Collaboration in Adult Content Husband Films and Performs in Collaborations Navigating Consent Forms and Platform Requirements Giving People a Chance to Grow Choosing Practical Outfits for Filming Breathing, Sounds, and Multiple Orgasms Sexuality Changes Throughout Our Lives Key takeaways: • **Authenticity and genuine connection outperform polished production** – Success in adult content creation depends on real human interaction and honest communication rather than technical perfection or unrealistic portrayals. • **The swinging community is growing in awareness but faces persistent social stigma** – Despite increased visibility, participants still encounter significant judgment, making privacy and discretion critical considerations for those involved. • **Excitement and live audience engagement drive motivation more than fear or taboo** – Content creators in this space are primarily motivated by the thrill of real-time interaction and genuine connection with audiences, not by transgressive appeal alone. “Sex-positive” is a term that gets used a lot these days, but it doesn't always mean the same thing to everyone. Sometimes it's about sexual openness or enthusiasm, other times it's about respect for sexual diversity, and sometimes it's even used in coercive ways. In this episode, we explore what sex-positivity actually is, and what it isn't. I am joined once again by Dr. Carol Queen, the staff sexologist, Company Historian, and Curator of the Antique Vibrator Museum at Good Vibrations. A noted cultural sexologist whose work has been widely published, she’s written and edited several books, including The Sex & Pleasure Book: Good Vibrations Guide to Great Sex for Everyone. Some of the specific topics we explore in this episode include: What are the core features of sex-positivity? What are some common usages of the term that miss the mark? Why is it important to separate sex-positivity from things like sexual behavior, frequency, and identity? How can you recognize when sex-positivity is being used coercively rather than ethically? How can you apply sex-positive values in everyday life? You can click here to learn more about Dr. Carol Queen. Got a sex question? Brian and Judson celebrate the victory of mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani and the fact that friend-of-the-podcast Brandon Kyle Goodman has extended their run in HEAUX CHURCH off-Broadway at Ars Nova through November 21. Brian raves about the Broadway play Liberation by Bess Wohl. Judson's trick is a treat on Halloween. Brian prepares for a sex party by listening back to his own advice on a previous episode and discovers he may, in fact, be vers. After listening to the Hookup of the Week, the two wax nostalgic for their younger years, hooking up in bars. They are then joined by comedian, writer, and actor Jay Jurden, whose debut television special, “Yes, Ma'am,” is now streaming on Hulu. Jay discusses the journey to getting “Yes, Ma'am” on screen, why it was important for the special to be so sex-positive, the necessity of stand-up for marginalized audiences, the new hour he is taking on his “Nothing Special" tour, his 14-year relationship with his now husband, identifying as bisexual, his former career as a personal trainer, his possible future on Broadway, and his deep, queer connection to Marvel's X-Men. To cap off the episode, Jay helps Brian and Judson respond to a Go Ask Your Dad question from a listener who is hurt after his partner declines his request for sex, only to go and have a repeat hookup with someone else. We're back to Biola this week...kinda. Yes, Lacey Bond attended that school and was a "good" christian woman who followed all the rules. But while there, she was encouraged to ask questions and think creatively. This would prove lethal to her closely held fundamentalist, purity culture-soaked faith. It would eventually lead her to question everything and being exploring her identity as a woman and a sexual being. And through a series of life events, Lacey became a licensed Sex and Relationship coach, specializing in kink and non-traditional relationships. What if the thing you're most afraid of… is the very key to your healing? In this powerful, raw, and eye-opening episode of the Sex and Bacon podcast, Sarah sits down with Mistress Mia Payne—owner of Pain With Purpose—for a deep dive into the healing side of BDSM. Together, they explore how kink can be a therapeutic tool for trauma recovery, emotional release, empowerment, and reconnecting with the body after pain. From confronting abuse triggers in a collar to understanding the difference between consensual pain and trauma reenactment, this conversation peels back the layers on what it really means to reclaim power through intentional BDSM. Mia shares the science behind “cellular memory,” the unexpected link between kink and spirituality, and how her clients—many of them high-powered men and trauma survivors—have transformed their lives through her work. Whether you're kink-curious, healing from trauma, or just ready to ditch shame and explore your full self—this episode offers a radically safe space to reimagine what power, submission, and self-trust can look like.

Through her advocacy for marginalized communities, including the kink community, non-monogamous individuals, sex workers, and LGBTQ+ people, Kate brings a compassionate, socially conscious approach to therapy. Her practice integrates a unique blend of social justice, art therapy, trauma work, and psychedelic healing, where tools like ketamine therapy reveal new dimensions of self-discovery and healing.Kate's journey began in her childhood, navigating a landscape marked by bigotry and sexual shame. Moving from Oregon to Alabama, she grappled with cultural stigmas, which ultimately shaped her path towards a career focused on trauma, creativity, and embracing diverse identities. These experiences have uniquely prepared her to help others overcome similar challenges, using her own life's hurdles as a guiding light. In this candid conversation, Kate opens up about her personal experiences with metastatic cervical cancer, a reality that—even in remission—impacts her daily life. She shares her reliance on meditation, exercise, and a deep connection to source energy, tools that help her find balance in the face of life's uncertainties. We delve into her philosophy on self-care, the power of setting boundaries, and how navigating the healthcare system as a patient with a serious illness has sharpened her understanding of systemic inequalities. As the conversation unfolds, Kate highlights the beauty of synchronicity and divine connection in her life and work. With a sense of wonder, she describes the grounding joy she finds in life's small and grand moments alike—whether in her connection to ancestral wisdom, nature, or the universe's subtle interconnections. This journey is as much about embracing gratitude and healing as it is about celebrating life's marvels. Join us for an inspiring exploration of resilience, self-compassion, and the profound impact of choosing joy amidst adversity.Thank you all for listening.
