Among the revelations from Carlson’s reporting was that the man that has become the face of January 6, the so-called “QAnon Shaman,” was led through the Capitol building by police the entire time he was in the building, including them escorting him to the Senate floor. This is contrary to the media portrayal of him as a “violent insurrectionist.” https://rumble.com/v2c13x8-tucker-releases-bombshell-jan-6-footage-showing-everything-the-media-and-de.html - Play Video In perhaps the damning revelation, the extent to which Democrats lied about the death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was worse than initially thought. Not only did they lie about him being beaten to death by protesters (when in fact he died of natural causes), he was captured on video alive after he was supposedly “murdered.” He was also seen wearing a helmet, making it even more unlikely that he died of a head injury as some falsely reported https://rumble.com/v2c3bkg-new-jan-6-footage-proves-dems-lied-about-death-of-officer-brian-sicknick.html - Play Video The new footage also proved that Ray Epps, who is widely suspected to be a federal informant who helped instigate January 6, lied to the January 6 Committee about when he left the Capitol that day - though the Committee didn’t seem to care much about being lied to when it came from Epps. https://rumble.com/v2c39rc-new-footage-proves-ray-epps-lied-to-jan-6-committee.html - Play Video https://www.breitbart.com/crime/2023/03/06/nyc-mayor-eric-adams-business-require-customers-unmask-fight-crime/’ NYC Mayor Eric Adams: Business Should Require Customers to Unmask Upon Entering to Help Fight Crime New York City Mayor Eric Adams has called on the city’s businesses to require unmasking upon entry. The move comes as authorities have noted mask-wearing in public places has made it easier for criminals to obscure their identities. “We are putting out a clear call to all of our shops, do not allow people to enter the store without taking off their face mask,” Adams said in a recent radio interview with 1010 WINS. “And then once they’re inside, they can continue to wear if they so desire to do so. But we need to use the technology we have available to identify those shoplifters and those who are committing serious crimes.” At a February 28 press conference concerning a jewelry store robbery in which police say a 78-year-old worker was brutally beaten by the suspects — one of them masked — New York City Police Chief Jeffrey Maddrey called on the city’s business community to require unmasking as a “condition of entry”: The NYPD is here to work with our businesses, but I have to ask our businesses to be just as proactive as well. We’re seeing far too often where people are coming up to our businesses, sometimes with masks, sometimes with masks, hoods, and latex gloves… and then we have a robbery or some kind of property being stolen. Maddrey explained that unmasking could serve as a “peace offering” to workers. Fox 5 reported Monday that police had linked the murder of a 67-year-old bodega worker during a robbery to three other robberies. Police say that in each case the suspect was masked. Staying in NYC… https://thepostmillennial.com/nyc-spends-10-million-per-day-to-house-feed-illegal-immigrants-report?utm_campaign=64487 NYC spends $10 MILLION per day to house, feed illegal immigrants New York City is having to deal with an immense financial burden as it continues to spend millions per day to provide housing and food for thousands of illegal immigrants, with the city having received minimal aid from President Joe Biden and New York State Governor Kathy Hochul. The city's Emergency Management Commissioner, Zach Iscol, disclosed the high cost during a City Council panel meeting, where he said that the Department of Homeless Services and Health & Hospital spent, on average, reports the New York Post, $363 per day for a single illegal migrant's shelter and food. Over 30,000 illegal migrants are currently housed in the city's taxpayer-funded facilities, the Post reported, with that bill amounting to over $10 million, per day. City Hall told the Post "there are 12,700 households currently in our care," with the minimum daily cost of taking care of the illegal immigrants being placed at $4,622,800. Iscol warned the City Council's Committee on Contracts that the city is at the end of its resources, and the situation is not sustainable. The temporary Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Centers set up by the city to deal with the influx are not viable solutions, he said, emphasizing that the city has reached out for help from both state and federal governments. Very little has been provided by the state or the Biden regime in terms of financial aid. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provided the city with a mere $8 million in December, which is not even enough to cover two current days' costs. City Council Minority Leader Joe Borelli expressed frustration, with Borelli stating that the Biden administration should take responsibility for the situation and provide financial aid to the city. The New York National Guard has been deployed to a minor degree to aid with the influx of illegal immigrants. Hochul has promised $1 billion in aid to the city for the crisis in her state budget, though the city will have to pay a third of the amount. The federal government has yet to commit to funding any amount of aid. https://dailycaller.com/2023/03/06/iowa-bill-college-diversity-efforts/ Iowa Bill Would Bankrupt All College Diversity Programs An Iowa bill introduced Sunday would end higher education institutions’ diversity programs, prohibiting colleges from spending money on such efforts. House File 616 would prohibit public higher education institutions governed by the Iowa Board of Regents from funding diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts and would bar the universities from hiring DEI officers. The bill, introduced by the Iowa Committee on Education, would require the money that would have been spent on DEI efforts go towards merit scholarships for lower-income and middle-income students. Universities are not permitted to spend any grants, tuition, endowments and gifts on DEI policies, programming, training, activities and positions, the bill stated. Under the legislation, the state’s attorney general can oversee the universities efforts to axe diversity efforts and punish the schools if they fail to do so. The legislation comes among other education efforts within the state; the legislature is considering an Iowa bill that would prohibit teachers from giving lessons “relating to gender identity” in K-8 public and charter school classrooms. In January, Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed House Study Bill 1 into law, creating a school choice program that gives vouchers to students outside of the public school system. “The Board of Regents opposes the bill,” Josh Lehman, Iowa Board of Regents senior communications director, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “We have concerns with the bill’s language and impact, and will work with legislators directly to address them. We will continue to track the bill as it makes its way through the legislative process.” The Iowa Committee on Education did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment. More American health care workers are receiving the covid-19 vaccine. A nurse in Boston got her first dose of the Moderna vaccine on Monday hours later President-elect Joe Biden received the Pfizer vaccine. But there is a new covid concern: a more virulent strain of virus in the U.K. prompting British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to impose more lockdown restrictions. . Dr. Marc Siegel, Fox News contributor, professor of medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, explains what you need to know about the new covid strain, a new home covid test and how to safely celebrate the holidays. 2020 was a rough year for American cities with the coronavirus pandemic making the urban lifestyle unattractive and too expensive to live in. As a result, New York City saw many people moving out of the once bustling city and into lower cost suburban areas. When Mayor Bill DeBlasio leaves office after serving two-terms, his replacement will have many challenges to take on. Zach Iscol is an Iraq war veteran who is running for New York City mayor. He joins today's Fox News Rundown to explain why he's decided to run and how he plans to help to bring the city back to what it once was. Plus, commentary by Robert Jeffress, Fox News contributor and pastor of the Dallas First Baptist Church.
Zach Iscol grew up in a home with loving parents, yet chose to join the Marines as an officer. He served two tours leading an infantry unit in one of the most dangerous parts of the world. He later founded a successful nonprofit organization called Headstrong, caring for our nation's veterans with a focus on mental health. Zach has now thrown his hat into the ring to become NYC mayor, aiming to defeat incumbent Bill de Blasio and turn the city around. Scott Melker and Zach Iscol further discuss running for NYC mayor, the inspiration to join the Marines, a lineage of military service, saving veterans from poor mental health and suicide, volunteering at the Javits Center during the COVID-19 pandemic, government shutdowns, ranked-choice voting, saving small business, donating thousands of masks, throwing a slot machine overboard, getting your hands dirty as a leader, crypto regulation in NYC and more. --- EQUOS Diginex is the first company with a cryptocurrency exchange to be listed in the US. Episode 258: Zach Iscol Is Running For Mayor by Max & Murphy
As an officer in the Marine Corps, Zach Iscol was mentored by people who emphasized the importance of taking care of your people...and that lesson came home with him. After his service ended, he saw the heavy toll of PTSD and other military-related trauma on veterans. In particular, the suicide rate among veterans drove him to action. On today’s episode, Zach and I talk about how the Headstrong Project removes barriers for veterans seeking care, and the impact it’s had for over 1,500 veterans in 7 years. Learn more about Zach and check out the show notes here. Follow Made Visible on Instagram. We want to learn more about you! Tell us about you and what got you listening to Made Visible here.
We're back! Our guest this week is Zach Iscol. Zach is a combat veteran ,a grand marshall of the 2019 Veteran's Day parade and the founder of several companies, including Hirepurpose, Task & Purpose and Headstrong - a nonprofit dedicated to providing veterans with treatment for PTSD. Zach joins us to help give advice to a man who is struggling to take responsibility after screwing up at work.
Following in the footsteps of family members who had served before him, Zach Iscol earned his commission after graduating from Cornell University in 2001. He actually passed up a flight contract and joined the infantry so he could get to combat sooner, fearing he might miss the war while working his way through a lengthy flight school. In 2004, he eagerly volunteered to re-deploy to Iraq and fight in Fallujah shortly after returning from his initial combat deployment there. All of these actions speak volumes about the person Zach Iscol is to his very core. He has carried those attributes beyond his time in the Marine Corps, founding such organizations as Hire Purpose - a company that helps veterans find meaningful employment - and co-founding Task and Purpose, a news site for veterans, by veterans. You don’t have to be in the military to learn valuable lessons about discipline and risk. That said, the military can offer a lot of insights in how to invest for the long-term.Think about it: The military trains you to identify a desired objective, implement a plan to achieve it, and launch a mission to enact that plan. When it comes to investing, the lessons are similar. Your objective is to build a portfolio that will help you achieve the goal that you’ve set at the specific time in the future (think retirement, a down payment on a home, or a college fund). To achieve it, it starts with planning and then following through. Keep your eye on your objective and don’t let emotions get in your way. That’s good advice for everyone.Zach Iscol, the CEO of Task & Purpose, knows a lot about managing one’s money and career after a life in the military. He talks career, investing, and all the ways that getting one’s money life in order is more of a marathon than a sprint to the finish line. Thanks for listening to Teach Me How to Money. Zach Iscol, Grid North Brand Building Through Consistency & Caring Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking with Zach Iscol, Founder of Grid North - which is comprised of Hirepurpose, Task & Purpose, & Millitary One Click. Zach, a combat decorated Marine Officer served as the first officer in charge of Recruiting, Screening, Assessment, and Selection (RSAS) for the US Marine Corps Forces - Special Operations Command. With this in mind, I was especially keen to learn how his military experiences have influenced how he thinks about and acts upon the art / science of building brand and product. For the full episode on the Branded Podcast you can click here. Here's what I learned: Who are you with? When we share experiences that transcend everyday mundane activities or have a shared sense of service, it connects and bonds you and the community that you are trying to build. Consistency Creates Community: In the military, you are asked to take a bullet for someone else, this is an immense amount of responsibility. Core to that responsibility is the ability to show up day in and day out. In todays social media landscape, brands can reach you any where you are, but in order to create real community, it takes consistency, day in and day out. A brand is a promise that you make and a promise that you keep Purpose to Product Through Line: In the military you are given a task and a reason for that task. Similarly, in business the through-line between a tactic, feature or a product should be directly apparent. False divisions: The power of diverse conversation, when you listen, and amazing thing happens - common motivations emerge, even through folks might have differing labels. Brands don't have to be polarizing: The middle ground be better, listening and facilitating conversation is better than creating divisiveness. Consistency and Caring: You have to care and you have to back up the promises you are making. Networks & Non Zero Sum Games: The win win win, evolving from the mind that wants to compete for resources, partnering that creates more value for customers and clients. For all of these insights and many more, check out the full episode on The Branded Podcast.

HR Happy Hour 322 - Connecting Veterans with Job Opportunities Sponsored by Virgin Pulse: www.virginpulse.com Host: Steve Boese Guest: Zach Iscol, Hirepurpose This week on the HR Happy Hour Show, Steve is joined by Zach Iscol, a combat decorated Marine Officer, and the founder and CEO of Hirepurpose, a platform that connects employers with veterans, helps veterans and transitioning service members make the adjustment to the civilian workplace, and helps companies and organizations find and hire from this often under-utilized pool of incredible talent. More than 250K people transition out of the military each year, and they represent a deep, diverse, talented, and highly valuable pool of talent for organizations today - most of whom are struggling to fill positions in this climate of low unemployment and more job openings than ever. Zach shared his perspective on the skills, traits, and characteristics that transitioning service members offer to the the job market, tips and ideas on how employers can better engage with this rich source of talent, and how Hirepurpose helps both veterans and employers to make connections and fill important roles - benefitting both the employer and the service member. This was a really interesting and I think important show - thanks so much to Zach for his service and for what he and the team at Hirepurpose are doing to help our veterans, our companies, and our country.
