It's ok to accept help at this time and it's not selfish. People want to help new mothers. It takes longer than 12 weeks to feel normal again and get into the swing of your new life. Its a feeling you have of complete solidarity Some chapters in motherhood are going to feel balanced and some chapters will feel less balanced. Know that there is a light of balance in the future. If you are mentally and physically starting to feel burned out be aware of this in yourself and make adjustments in your life to help cope with this. You don't want to burn out. No matter how old your children are there is still going to be new things you have to deal with. Adjusting to the new chapter and finding a new balance is something that mothers have to do.

Play is a way you can do this by giving our children a sense of wonder. SLOW DOWN and you might be able to see the skills that you haven't noticed before in your children. Make sure to show little appreciation towards your children's teachers on the daily. Your time with your kids is about quality not quantity. Be present with your children when you can.
