It also allows for the sledding tracks of your brain to be re-sledded, creating new and unique paths and can expand your ways of thinking about your current situation, the veins in an oak leaf, and if you're lucky, can even encourage you to get out into nature more and get your toes in the grass. Today we are talking to Guy, the CEO of Papa & Barkley, a company known for their RELEAF balms and oils, best used for pain relief and joint care, but also tincture, edibles, all in the name of Whole Plant and Full Spectrum. He's swept Emerald Cups, but you wouldn't know it by how grounded Guy is. Guy has been in the weed industry for a minute and has full credentials to support – but one of the things that really stood out to me was how he came to the party without an EGO. He went from being a cannabis advocate – I would though, still call him an advocate, to working to provide standardized and, well, really great product, so that people could experience cannabis in a positive way, the way it was intended to be enjoyed. He thinks that developing your cannabis palette not only helps you find a tailored regimen, but also, we owe it to the plant! I cant tell you how much I really enjoyed speaking with him and hearing about his experiences, and how they have helped to shape Papa & Barkley into what they are today. Back to P&B Kitchen one of the three brands under the P&B umbrella–Guy is the CEO for Papa and Barkley and has been on the team since the brand started. He is at the forefront, along with the Chocolatier and Gummy Artisan, Jonah and Lindsay, in launching their two new products…. Dun dun dun…. Chocolate bars and gummies! Let's tune in and find out more! KEEP blazing and stay AMAZING!
HELLO! And welcome to the Pot Moms Podcast!!! I'm your host – Kait! This week, I had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of talking to Alexa, part of the trifecta of Seventh Hill CBD. Alexa and her team create caramels, oils, pre-rolls, and more, for your enjoyment. Now, I first was introduced to Seventh Hill CBD when we interviewed Rana with Spativa during a roadtrip to Medford Oregon. It certainly wasn't my first go around with CBD, but it sure was the first time when I realized the importance and potency of everything CBD had to offer. What is CBD you ask? Let's have a refresher – CBD stands for cannabidiol and is a compound found in cannabis. As you will hear in the interview – CBD is best used in tandem WITH THC. But that doesn't need to be scary, it can actually be really beneficial and entirely delicious. CBD has been known to help with seizures, anxiety, body pain, sleep and appetite regulation and more. Seventh Hill is most famous (correct me if I am wrong!) for their caramels. They distribute all over the US, so hit up their site www.seventhhillcbd.com to see if you can get it at a location near you. They also have an extensive shipping map, so check out their site to learn more. Their caramels come in RISE, INSPIRE, UNWIND, BALANCE, and CHILL, in addition to different ratio CBD to THC options. They have been kind enough to extend a discount code for listeners to use – so use “POTMOMSPODCAST” at check out for a 15% coupon on your order.
Hello, Beautiful People! Today, we are going to talk about cannabis taking on the alcohol market. Enter Bill Gibbs of Sweet Dreams Vineyard – Bill is at the forefront of the demand for drinkable cannabis. I for one LOVE that there is an option to drink cannabis similarly to how I have enjoyed alcohol. Right now, I use it similar to hard alcohol, making “mixed drinks” but it sometimes makes me feel too stoney with one or two drinks. What I want, and what I think the market really needs is something that drinks like a beer or glass of wine! Compelling, yes? Currently, the Cannaberet and Marijuarita (say that 3 times fast I DARE YOU) is available in Arizona (small tear for me because I would be a frequent customer FOR SURE) – so go check it out and let me know what you think! Now let's cut to the interview with Bill! Keep blazing and stay AMAZING!

We chat about different ways people misunderstand canna moms and how to advocate for yourself and your health. Many moms face similar judgements for what is right for them. Find community in Pot Moms, CMAGMT and others, and let's end this unfair view of, honestly, a really helpful little plant :) KEEP BLAZING STAY AMAZING!

Hi! Welcome to the Pot Moms Podcast! Today we have the opportunity to interview Sharon Kevil of FORTI GOODS - Sharon is a cannamom + founder and CEO of Forti Goods, the first furniture company with lockable drawers to safely and securely store cannabis products. BUT DONT WORRY YOU CAN PUT ANYTHING YOU WANT IN THEM! Maybe your favorite lipstick that you dont want your exploratory 3-year old to find and ruin, your favorite pair of Adidas Gazelles, the list goes on. This anti-fast furniture startup is based in Milwaukee and has created handcrafted pieces for responsible cannabis use within the modern home by keeping curious hands out. The idea for this company came about after Sharon's then 3 yr old daughter broke into a kitchen cabinet with a child-safety lock and got into a jar of candy - this got her thinking - "if she's able to do this so easily, then what if she found my cannabis stash!?". Forti’s products are made in the USA, have controlled access via an app, sustainably-sourced, carbon filters that neutralize the scent of cannabis, (or your other smelly items you want to stay kid-free) and use FSC-certified woods and water-based finishes. Other than that, she's from Milwaukee, same as me, and is a true delight to speak with. Thanks for helping to break the stigma, Sharon!

Truth is - I am always learning more about Cannabis. It is such an interesting plant, with so many unexpected areas to explore more and educate myself and listeners on. From my experience, with education comes confidence and that helps reduce the stigma! Constellation Cannabis is a Washington cannabis brand established in 2018. They specialize in an ice water extraction, which frankly is CRAZY SCIENCE but without any of the nasties that can accompany the extraction of cannabis. Constellation agitates the pretty little trichome heads off of their beautiful home-grown nugs. But don't take it from me - take it from Trish. She is the Unicorn Hash Queen and her knowledge around processing and concentrate consumption is simply... admirable. Listen up, lean in, and always keep learning! Keep blazing and stay AMAZING!

So - queue this summer - Eunice and Kait rent a car (bucket list for Kait since becoming of age to be able to rent rental cars!) and drive overnight to Ashland, Oregon to interview Rana Lee of the canna-spa, SPATIVA! Truth be told, I was trying to move into video, and I bit off more than I could chew, resulting in a slight spiral full of shame for letting Rana, Stephanie and Spativa down for not getting the episode out in a timely manner. I reached out to Rana, who of course had the most amazing response - "That's why we're pot moms - we have our own timeline." Speechless right? There are so many things to feel bad about in a day, having her understanding helped me eventually clear my head and push through the mental fog that I had been experiencing since mid-pandemic. Enjoy the INCREDIBLY DELAYED but still hopefully enjoyable episode where we talk with Rana about the community she has created in the fantastic town of Ashland, how she paves the way for the normalization of cannabis, and reminds women that it's important to take the time for themselves - and to be your highest self! Keep blazing, stay AMAZING! And check out SPATIVA!

Hi, remember me? Emerging from the cluster of 2020 survival to bring you this interview that re-sparked a lot of the creativity I had been craving. In the episode, we interview Shawn Gold of Pilgrim Soul's Creative Thinking Journal. Shawn created a journal to retrain your brain to be creative. All you need is to get high and let your ego take a turn at making your kids bento box lunch while you let the silliness, creativity and wackiness flow. Think of it as jumper cables for your laugh box. Speaking of laughs - did you know that adults only laugh an average of 6 times per day. 6. WTF. Shawn has major cannabis street cred and shares his insights into managing life, cannabis, kids, marriage, all while doddling, making up fake words, and laughing. We also play everyone's favorite game... that's right - it's the FAKE OR REAL STRAIN NAME GAME! Keep blazing, stay amazing! And shout to those of you who read this. You da real deal.
