When he left he took the ideas for that movie and put them into Cobra.The movie had to be heavily cut to avoid an X Rating. Most of this was for violence and extended shots of naked dead bodies at an autopsy. A bootleg with an extra 40min has been floating around for years.The 1950 Mercury was actually Stallone’s and replicas had to be made for action scenes.Initially considered a flop, it actually made $160 million worldwide against a $25 million budget. Så er det endnu engang tid til at dykke ned i en action-klassiker. Filmen handler om Marion Cobretti, der er medlem af "The Zombie Squad", og som kun bruges når der ikke er andre muligheder. En dødsenfarlig morderbande er løs i gaderne, og Cobretti får frie hænder til at rydde op i "COBRA". Hvem er så gæst kan jeg hører dig spørge? Jamen det er da ingen anden end filminstruktør Christian E. Christiansen - har jeg hørt hans navn før tænker du nok, og ja det har du. Una de los títulos más recurrentes a la hora de visitar el videoclub, y una de las carátulas que más llamaban la atención. Y es que cuando apareció Cobra en el horizonte videoclubsero Stallone ya era toda una institución en el mundo del cine. Yo personalmente no llego a concebir una buena película de acción sin las consabidas frases lapidarias que todo gran héroe lanza en los momentos apropiados, ósea cuando va a acabar con el malo de turno, y en Cobra hay muchas y buenas. Hay quien cree que esta película ha envejecido muy mal, y yo casi llegué a pensar lo mismo (por ese runrún popular que en ocasiones nos hace derivar nuestra opinión hacia tierras lúgubres y extrañas) justo antes de comenzar a revisionarla ya que sinceramente hacia muchos años que no volvía a verla y la duda razonable se vislumbraba en el horizonte. Sin embargo pese a esos minutos finales con unas escenas de acción un tanto atropelladas, para mi, sigue siendo un peliculón como la copa de un pino. En este capitulo decimos un hasta pronto a David Webb, sin duda el que más ha currado en pos de hacer llegar a todos lados este podcast. El ha empujado este pequeño programa hasta este pequeña parcela de éxito en la que nos encontramos no sin encontrarse en más de una ocasión con disensiones internas a la hora de enfocar el avance del mismo aun cuando el la mayoría de las ocasiones el tenia razón. Seguramente desde la óptica del oyente todo es melancolía, risas y cervezas, sin embargo llevar a cabo durante estos cinco años el programa nos ha hecho sacrificar (con mucho gusto) mucho de nuestro valioso tiempo libre para poder mantenerlo a flote, y cuando ese trabajo viene de la pasión autentica por el cine y todo lo que le rodea se hace con el doble de empeño y eso a la larga conlleva desgaste. Desde aquí solo puedo agradecerle cada minuto que ha gastado en ayudarme a hacer realidad esta idea que un día surgió en mi cabeza y que junto a el y el resto del equipo hicimos realidad y solamente desearle que pasado el tiempo que el crea pertinente regrese con energías renovadas y muchas ganas de seguir hablado de lo que más le apasiona en esta vida, el Cine. Sin más y ubicados en el Forum de Fnac de la calle San Agustín en Valencia nos hemos reunido un equipo formado por David Webb, Juan Sanchez, Jordi y el aquí escribiente Domingo Dark Vinyl. Disfrutadlo y haced caso a Cobretti: a comer más ciruelas y menos porquerías.
