This week we are visiting the mind of Billy Corgan and more specifically taking on one of the best Song 2's ever written. The second track on the willfully bonkers Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Tonight Tonight is, without question one of the songs that even those unfamiliar with Smashing Pumpkins music will be able to identify – it was even number in Iceland, for heaven's sake. A snowstorm has wiped out all production value for the Tonight Tonight Show, while the writers try to hold down the fort. Listen to Thompson, Bela, "Brad," and Brendan reach for "a devastating use of silence" in contrast to their last episode, K Juice Jazz Hour.

Fellow Georgia native John King chats about his latest release "Always Gonna Be You," memories of his Opry debut, and so much more! You may remember his Top 40 radio jam “Tonight Tonight” which was heard on weekly NFL recaps, but for the past few years, King has been working behind the scenes honing his craft as a songwriter. He earned his first No. 1 and ASCAP Award for Randy Houser's “We Went,” and he wrote Hootie and The Blowfish's 2019 comeback song “Rollin.” King co-wrote his entire album with standout songwriters like Paul DiGiovanni (Boys Like Girls, Justin Moore, Dan + Shay), Justin Wilson (Blake Shelton, Randy Houser), Leslie Satcher (George Strait, Martina McBride, Vince Gill) and others. ‘Always Gonna Be You' tells personal, yet universal stories to the tune of modern-day twang and heartland hooks.

We had the pleasure of interviewing John King over Zoom video! John King has spent years cultivating a successful career in country music — he has written No. 1 hits for artists like Randy Houser and anthemic radio jams like “Tonight Tonight,” which was heard on CBS Thursday Night Football broadcasts; he penned Hootie and The Blowfish's first new song after a 15 year hiatus; he's earned an ASCAP Award for his songwriting and much more.On his debut album ‘Always Gonna Be You,' King shines a light on the most important things in life: family and faith. ‘Always Gonna Be You' is available everywhere via Starstruck Records. Listen here: johnking.lnk.to/AGBYOn ‘Always Gonna Be You,' King worked with several producers including Paul DiGiovanni (Boys Like Girls), Jordan Schmidt (Keith Urban, Ingrid Andress), Jason Gantt (Faith Hill) and others who helped him hone-in his eclectic music tastes for an album that plays off of country, pop and rock influences. King lived every song on the album, co-writing each track with songwriters including Josh Miller (Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Bebe Rexha), Jamie Paulin (Jon Pardi, Justin Moore, Jack Ingram), Trannie Anderson (Gabby Barrett) and more.‘Always Gonna Be You' is King's personal journey of self-discovery told in chronological order. It kicks off with “Easy,” a laid back tune that speaks to the “anything is possible” feeling of a budding young love. “Try Saying Goodbye” takes an introspective turn and “strikes a universal chord” (Taste of Country) with a warning of what happens when pride stands in the way of a relationship, while the pop-infused “heartbreaking, but catchy breakup song” (The Boot) “Ain't Missing You” reflects back on the end of a relationship. The album takes a hopeful turn with the ever-romantic “For You,” in which King sings of the sacrifices he's willing to make for love. The relationship begins to mend with “'Til It Changes Your Mind,” a raw reflection of the wrong things he had prioritized in life and a promise to change. Listeners follow King to a milestone moment in his life, becoming a proud husband and then father, on “Prettiest Girl In The Room,” while the album closes with “Better Man,” a song that anchors the album as King finds a new purpose in life.Call it a soundtrack to self-discovery. Call it a coming-of-age story performed by a southern son whose country twang is matched by his pop hooks. Whatever the description, 'Always Gonna Be You' is proof there's a new King in town. For information on upcoming shows and more, visit johnkingcountry.com.We want to hear from you! Adam creates a short hypnosis session inspired by the lyrics of a song called Tonight Tonight, by The Smashing Pumpkins, that enables you to think back to your youth and to realise that while your teenage years have influenced who you are now, you know that you are not the same as you were back then. This evidence that your present is different from your past reinforces a belief that your future will be different from your present. And since it will change anyway why not change it deliberately and why not change it tonight? Frank and Pat talk the cohesiveness of the "Tonight, Tonight" EP and the surprisingly pleasant hodgepodge of songs that is "Thirty-Three." Sari is flying (almost) solo in this episode because Laura couldn't make it this week. So she brought in the guests this week, Vale Villegas and Vale Larretape, to have a conversation for the entire episode. In Wifey's Weekly Words, the girls talk about knowing when to say sorry and knowing when to stand up for yourself. It's one of the most normal things to have disagreements with others, but there is a way to do it. Sari and her guests also talk about guilt one usually goes through in arguments. In Love, Lust or Lie, the girls talk about the context and setting of being introduced to someone. I recap the weekly buys, talk about stocks I want to grow old with, cover the covered call I wrote again! I talk a little politics, and queue up my song of the show. MO covered call - Own (100) shares, average $36.98. Sold a 6/12 $37.50 covered call for $1.21 ($121 - .65 Schwab comission fee = $120.35). I keep that $120.35 no matter what. The contract break even is $38.71. My break even is $39.55 ($37.50 + .84 dividend + $1.21 Premium). If the share price is below $38.71 on 6/12, odds are they will not be called away. If they are called away, I will be paid up until $37.50. Should that happen I will gain a grand total of $2.57/share or $257, which is a gain of .069% in 25 days. Almost 7% gain in under a month isn't too shabby!! If this is unclear, please go to YouTube and search "What is a covered call"......!!! Song of the show - "Tonight Tonight" by The Smashing Pumpkins Tickers mentiond in this episode - WMT, SPG, DUK, ET, PRU, PEP. JNJ, KMB, ED, MO, CL, ACB, NIO, HMNY. Disclosure: I am long SPG, DUK, ET, PRU, PEP, JNJ, KMB, ED, MO, ACB, NIO & HMNY. Disclaimer- I am not a licensed financial adviser and this is NOT financial advice. Hot Chelle Rae is a band we listened to growing up, producing hits like “Tonight Tonight,” and “Honestly;” finally their hiatus is over. We were thrilled to learn that Hot Chelle Rae is back and better than ever working on releasing their EP, “Tangerine.” The songs already released show the direction the band is headed in and we are so excited for what's to come. The new EP lends itself to be an outlet for the time that has amassed and how the band has grown into their own producing some amazing bops. The band is comprised of Ryan Follesé (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Nash Overstreet (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Jamie Follesé (drums). WCBG was so lucky to have had the opportunity to speak with Nash Overstreet about the EP and of course tour! Interviewer: Jeanine Woody

Seth and Elyshuah and host of callers will try to answer the basics and more. Hebrew Israelites are the largest spiritual movement in America hands down!! So,who are these young people seeking to please the Father and declaring that African Americans are one of the lost tribes of Israel among other truth? Some have have forsaken most American Holidays in lieu of observing ancient Israel Holy days, many see to institute certain laws from the old testament while walking in grace through the Messiah blood. Then theirs others, perhaps misguided who seem disrespectful on the streets of NYC while sharing their faith.
