Oh yes, this week Ryan Lopes (@stillryanfive) and Nate Liss (@anoutragedjew) spin pure gold out of what would seem like thin air. This is a high energy episode unofficially sponsored by white claw and whatever teenage magazine is popular right now. D’Onta Foreman, now a Colt: Does it even matter anymore? From RB2 > pushing RB1 to an RB3-ish with “work ethic issues”? Is it time to light the final candle? Foreman fallout in HOU; what does this mean for Lamar Miller, if anything at all? Is Damarea Crockett going to happen? What does HOU do now in that backfield/who would YOU sign (ex. Duke Johnson, Gio Bernard, or swing big for Mel Gordon)? Mike Crabtree lives and lands in ARI. Expectations? Do we care? What does it mean for our heroes Hakeem Butler and Andy Isabella? Antonio Brown may have frostbitten feet? What the heck is going on in Oakland? Meanwhile, the best receiver on the roster, Hunter Renfrow, is penciled in as the team’s starting slot option. Wheels up. Meanwhile, SPARQ-freak Mike Gesicki has had an “uneven” camp. I am upset about it. T.J. Hockenson is “fixture” with the first-team offense. Last TE note: Rico Gathers is #free. Someone please make this happen. Or is his upside and impact all just a dream? SEA backfield update? Chris Carson vs. Rashaad Penny; Carson clearly in the “lead role” and Schotty wants him “more involved” in the passing game. Boner? Jerick McKinnon off the PUP -- are we celebrating? THE JAKOBI MEYERS SEGMENT LET THEM HEAR IT NATE Jaylen Samuels to have a “significant part of the offense” -- hello. Rookie and Breakout Finder-favorite A.J. Brown -- initial third-stringer? Emmanuel Butler RISING -- is Tre’Quan Smith in trouble?

On today's episode, lots of Colts-related new nuggets have dropped over the last 48 hours. First, Indianapolis surprised many by claiming former Texans running back -- and top 100 pick -- D'Onta Foreman. What will Foreman's role be with the Colts? Is there a chance he won't even make the 53-man roster? Certainly, because the battle between Foreman and Jonathan Williams for RB4 now is one of the top preseason storylines to follow. Also, will the former Heisman candidate buck the trend of RBs who quickly flame out after Achilles injuries? Hale Hentges, the UDFA TE from Alabama, is catching the eyes of many through the first 11 days of training camp. Not only is Hentges showcasing his blocking ability, but displaying an ability to run the route tree while consistently beating coverage. Indianapolis has had a 20-year streak of an undrafted free agent making the roster. Will Henges make it 21? Right now, he has the slight lead over Ross Travis for the final tight end spot. Finally, head coach Frank Reich finally let out more details on Jabaal Sheard's knee. Sheard had surgery recently on his knee, with a timetable currently unknown. What is the impact over the short and long term for the Colts' defense? Sheard's an underrated asset on run downs, so a lot of pressure now falls on the shoulders of Al-Quadin Muhammad and rookie Ben Banogu to fill his role. After the 2019-20 campaign, will this knee injury now make Sheard more expendable as a free agent? Pat and Cody Stoots crank up the State of the Texans podcast to discuss the Houston Texans roster heading into training camp. The second installment of the podcast covers the Texans cornerbacks and running back groups. A totally revamped secondary lead by veteran Johnathan Joseph and the growing expectations of Aaron Colvin, Bradley Roby, and rookie Lonnie Johnson Jr. Also, outside of Lamar Miller the running back group has little experience on a NFL field. D’Onta Foreman is expected to bounce back, but there is not much else on the depth chart the Texans can depend on. Rookie Cullen Gillaspia should be a name for Texans fans to watch heading into the season.

When does it make sense to play Peyton Barber in fantasy football? Dexter Williams vs. Ryquell Armstead: Which late round running back has maximum potential in dynasty leagues? A Dwayne Haskins breakout would propel Jordan Reed, Trey Quinn, Derrius Guice, Paul Richardson, and even Josh Doctson. Jameis Winston letting a golf ball get hit off his head was a bad decision. Though rookies usually get all the attention after the NFL Draft, the fantasy football impacts are often even greater for the veterans. Whether a new addition, like a beefy lineman, boosts a player’s “Surrounding Talent” scores, or a lack of a major move improves a veteran’s “Usage” outlook, a handful of players always emerge with vastly improve fantasy football outlooks. The 2019 NFL Draft was no different, and The Wolf and Truth are here to break down the 11 Biggest Fantasy Football Risers, including fire takes on: Marlon Mack and the fantasy upside that comes with his locked-in “three down” status Damien Williams and his chances at yielding RB1 value without major competition added (outside Carlos Hyde… who’s an enormous bargain in his own right) Kenyan Drake’s chances at realizing his limitless ceiling Peyton Barber as a guy Bruce Arians surprisingly wants to “build around” Leonard Fournette… and why we’re no longer full-out avoiding him Lamar Miller, D’Onta Foreman, and the upside of whoever emerges as the Texans’ top-RB (please be Foreman) Why Joe Mixon and Dalvin Cook are knocking on the door to the elite even harder after the 2019 Draft Devonta Freeman and the sneaky “unsexy upside” he now drips in The Fantasy Football Stock Market is finally settling, and you can’t miss the Veteran Risers who you should now be targeting.
