Our friend Trey Quinn aka Black Hotep aka Strong Dad decided to take the high road this June. So many people are being drug into the trap of arguing over sexuality in June. LOTS of people are angry or complaining, Instead of feeding the negativity, he decided to reenforce positive messaging by focusing on Fathers in the month of June and ignoring the drama. We applaud this and join him in his efforts. Had an amazing conversation with Steff and Muddy, two leaders behind Denver's Melanated Mic Night (IG @melanatedmic). We start by discussing what led Steff and Muddy into activism, focused on doing more for BIPOC communities. We touch on community importance, being consistently active in any capacity, organizing, and breaking free from systemic oppression. We also discuss being first-generation Americans and the balance in finding identity in the U.S. while also honoring the culture and history of our parents and ancestors. The episode closes out discussing Melanated Mic Night, a weekly community gathering of all people to support and amplify the voices of BIPOC community members. Steff and Muddy share their most memorable moments and the rally to support one of the lead protestors, Trey Quinn.

This is your last official camp pod of 2020, and it was recorded LIVE at Ourisman Toyota in Chantilly. JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler, Pete Hailey and Michael Phillips of the Richmond Times-Dispatch sat before a raucous crowd at the dealership and covered what happened in Sunday's practice, have a debate about Cam Sims vs. Trey Quinn, answer how comfortable they are about the left side of the offensive line and then take lots of fun fan questions. After that, you'll hear JP's 1-on-1 with Troy Apke, who might've been the MVP of Ashburn. If you like podcasts where Mitch transforms into a doctor and performs a knee test on JP and the hosts run through a bunch of random over-unders, then this is the episode for you.

Sorry Brandon Aiyuk, Jalen Hurd is lurking in San Francisco. Tough decision: Miles Sanders or Clyde Edwards-Helaire? Why drafting Joe Mixon over Michael Thomas makes perfect sense. Justin Jackson, Benny Snell, and J.D. McKissic poised for expanded roles this season. Joshua Kelley needs to prove himself on special teams. What if Aaron Jones or Ronald Jones test positive for Covid-19. Ke'Shawn Vaughn could be a big second half winner. Darren Waller is a good football player. Steven Sims needs to beat out Trey Quinn. A.J. Brown has a superior skill set to D.K. Metcalf. Nick Chubb looks like this year's Derrick Henry. Why are so many good analysts are bullish on Leonard Fournette? Kenyan Drake is currently being overdrafted. David Johnson is a good but snakebitten running back. Bryce Love must beat out Peyton Barber in Washington. Can Derrius Guice be the next Kareem Hunt for dynasty leaguers? Dontrell Hilliard looks like this year's Boston Scott. Lamar Jackson should be epic once again. Dak Prescott built a football field at his house! No one has more late round upside than Cam Newton. Why a breakout season is coming for N'Keal Harry. Michael Gallup is super-talented and should be targeted in fantasy football. Matthew Stafford is the absolute best QB to stack with in best ball tournaments. Deebo Samuel is only good for best ball tournaments. D.J. Chark is going to melt faces this year. Is Russel Gage arbitrage Calvin Ridley? Marquise Brown was smart to beef up to 180-pounds. Teddy Bridgewater will thrive with D.J. Moore, Curtis Samuel and Robby Anderson at wide receiver. Jamison Crowder going before Sterling Shepard in fantasy drafts makes no sense. Jaylen Samuels and Rex Burkhead are Swiss Army Knife players. Stacking Will Fuller and Randall Cobb in best ball makes a lot of sense. Adam Trautman will dwarf Kahale Warring and Josh Oliver as an NFL tight end. TEN/CLE Late-round TE Delanie Walker looking like a hero. A.J. Brown, WR1? Derrick Henry, weekly smash? Baker Mayfield and the CLE boys got out over their skis? BAL/MIA You won all the money if you played this game on the BAL-side. Lamar Jackson was a screaming value all offseason; MIA a weird test out of the gate, but expectations going forward? Remember Hollywood Brown? BAL backfield; the Mark Ingram show until further notice? Another late-round TE of note: Mark Andrews I don’t want to talk about Miami at all. ATL/MIN Dalvin Cook, league-winner? 10 pass attempts for MIN - yikes. Devonta Freeman/Ito Smith timeshare? BUF/NYJ Le'Veon Bell back, and not missing a beat. 17-60-0 on the ground, 6-32-1 through the air. Jamison Crowder was targeted 17 times; 14 rec, but couldn’t crack 100 yds. John Brown ended with a 7-123-1 line off of 10 targets, as a perfect downfield threat for the Bills' signal-caller. Devin Singletary appears to have control on RB1 duties, and added 5 receptions. WAS/PHI Terry McLaurin is here. Adrian Peterson a healthy scratch, but now Derrius Guice banged up. Chris Thompson healthy (for now) and providing the safe PPR floor. Do we care about Trey Quinn? Miles Sanders is still coming, it's just a matter of time. DeSean Jackson, also still good. LAR/CAR Todd Gurley splitting work; Malcolm Brown, goal line beneficiary? Christian McCaffrey was the 1.01 overall coming into the season, your RB1, and looks absolutely unstoppable. D.J. Moore, WR1; Curtis Samuel … ? KC/JAX Damien Williams vs. Shady McCoy vs. Darwin Thompson Patrick Mahomes, zero rust to knock off. Mecole Hardman while Tyreek Hill is recovering? Still buying JAX pass catchers without Nick Foles (that’s weird to type)? Leonard Fournette, the bellcow everyone was/is scared to own? IND/LAC Marlon Mack, bellcow I’m happy to own? Pay Austin Ekeler, not Melvin Gordon. TY Hilton post-Andrew Luck: Still useful CIN/SEA John Ross, third-year breakout? Andy Dalton stuffing box scores without Joe Mixon, banged up OL. Please, somebody, feed Tyler Lockett. D.K. Metcalf doesn’t care about your route running video critiques. Chris Carson > Rashaad Penny, to the surprise of nobody, really. NYG/DAL Pay Dak Prescott. OC Kellen Moore is a blessing. Michael Gallup legitimate WR2+? Evan Engram, top-4 TE - locked in. DET/ARI Target leader Danny Amendola is no bueno. T.J. Hockenson doesn’t care about rookie TE narratives. Kerryon Johnson losing pass-catching work. Christian Kirk drew 12 targets but it was largely a day to forget. Kyler Murray, late-starter.

Sean Payton called Alvin Kamara soft. How early is too early to select Deshaun Watson in fantasy football? How the Ty Montgomery enthusiasm jumped the shark. Nick Chubb and James Conner are set to exceed expectations this season. Sony Michel has been shredding preseason, and that matters. Dalvin Cook should be jammed into lineups this week. Tony Pollard went from lock button to stayaway when Ezekiel Elliott signed with the Cowboys. Austin Ekeler is tee'd up for a top-10 running back season. Chris Godwin and Tyler Lockett are set to go off this season. Why Keenan Allen's knee problem is not a major concern. Why starting Amari Cooper week 1 is sub-optimal. Michael Gallup is a solid tournament option. Why Curtis Samuel is a much sexier cash game option than Trey Quinn. Adam Thielen and Stefan Diggs likely can't both be fantasy WR1s with Kirk Cousins going under 600 pass attempts. Christian Kirk played less than half of Kyler Murray's snap this preseason. Is this a real concern? James Washington won the preseason but is he worth selecting late in fantasy drafts? Tanner Hudson qualifies for truther status. Stacking Jimmy Garoppolo-George Kittle-Marquise Goodwin can't fail in week 1. Can Matt Breida outproduce Tevin Coleman this season? Emmanuel Sanders has passed Courtland Sutton in high stakes leagues. Is this rational? How Tom Brady became the best-value pocket passer in fantasy drafts. Jameis Winston continues to look awful in preseason. At what point do we cross him off our draft boards? Carson Wentz is the ideal cash game play this week. Why Christian McCaffrey is the real 1.02 in dynasty leagues. J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, A.J. Brown, and Irv Smith should be targeted in November. The affinity for Kerryon Johnson in dynasty is real. Marlon Mack's dynasty value has picks. Sony Michel is the riskiest asset in dynasty leagues. Drafting Darrell Henderson at the 1.05 in rookie drafts makes good sense. Why Deebo Samuel, Parris Campbell and N'Keal Harry could breakout right away. Miles Sanders is the most underrated player in dynasty rookie drafts. Damien Harris is the best value upside in rookie drafts with RB1 upside in his range of outcomes. Dexter Williams is the perfect target in the third round of rookie drafts. Lamar Jackson makes Marquise Brown a risky bet. Mecole Hardman's upside remains sky high. Andy Isabella being projected to the No. 3 WR role with no mention of Hakeem Butler. T.J. Hockenson is a better bet than Kyler Murray in single QB rookie drafts. Dawson Knox is an ideal late-round tight end sleeper in dynasty. Artavis Scott is an intriguing stash. Dalvin Cook is more injury prone than dynasty leaguers are willing to acknowledge. Hard to find a better dynasty RB value play than Jaylen Samuels. Are Le'Veon Bell and Julio Jones heading for cliff years? How soon until JuJu Smith-Schuster is the WR1 in dynasty? Marvin Jones dynasty owners are heading for the exits. T.Y. Hilton is massively overrated. Julian Edelman is not actually underrated in dynasty. Chris Godwin and Tyler Boyd look like top-20 dynasty receiver? Calvin Ridley is more deserving of the prospect carryover hype than Mike Williams. Keke Coutee, Robert Foster, and Trey Quinn are ideal dynasty stashes. Celebrating Tre'Quan Smith's boom weeks. Tyrell Williams or Donte Moncrief are the new Spiderman meme. Robby Anderson is younger than you think. Who is the true No. 3 in Tampa: Justin Watson or Breshad Perriman? Is Austin Hooper an arbitrage play on Hunter Henry? Darren Waller going to be a thing and the perfect mid-season sell candidate. Dak Prescott was mentioned in a Post Malone song and is still underrated. Taywan Taylor deserves truther status after the Titans overpaid Adam Humphries. Sammy Watkins is a one-hit-wonder in search of a his first hit. James Conner should be worried about Jaylen Samuels. Mike Gesicki is the ideal post-hype sleeper. Bruce Anderson is a worthy final round stash in all formats. Why is everyone so convinced the Eagles will not feed Miles Sanders? Is Travis Kelce irresistible in tight end premium formats? Who is scarier to draft: Sony Michel or Leonard Fournette? Royce Freeman is a slightly better value than Rashaad Penny. Should Tevin Coleman and Matt Breida be stacked? Stefon Diggs is simply a better receiver than Adam Thielen. Albert Wilson is more likely to post a 1000-yard season than DeVante Parker. Christian Kirk and Mike Williams have extremely high upside. Keke Coutee, Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scanling, and Tre'Quan Smith offer maximum upside in best ball leagues. Better target magnet: Trey Quinn or DaeSean Hamilton? Robert Foster is missing mini camp and it doesn't matter. Does Carson Wentz know he's stealing money from the Eagles? Dak Prescott is the most underrated quarterback in fantasy football. Kyle Rudolph's fake contract shoudl not throttle Irv Smith's fantasy value. Dawson Knox and Foster Moreau should produce more in the NFL than they did in college. Ronald Jones shows that running backs who busted can become fantasy values. Is Tyler Lockett a better No. 1 WR breakout candidate than Kenny Golladay? David Moore is the perfect late-round stash. When does it make sense to play Peyton Barber in fantasy football? Dexter Williams vs. Ryquell Armstead: Which late round running back has maximum potential in dynasty leagues? A Dwayne Haskins breakout would propel Jordan Reed, Trey Quinn, Derrius Guice, Paul Richardson, and even Josh Doctson. Jameis Winston letting a golf ball get hit off his head was a bad decision. Matt Ryan won the draft, because the Falcons drafted maximum offensive line protection. James Williams vs. Darwin Thompson: Which KC satellite back as the best chance to stick longer term? How Lamar Miller and D'Onta Foreman won the NFL Draft. Damien Williams is actually a sell in dynasty. Kalen Ballage is a top sleeper RB no one is talking about. RotoUnderworld Radio Fantasy Football Podcast - Mind of Mansion, Ep 436: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@Fantasy_Mansion), Matt Freedman (@MattFTheOracle), and a surprise guest agree that N'Keal Harry and A.J. Brown are the only two bust proof wide receivers in the NFL Draft. Cardinals will undoubtedly draft Kyler Murray. Parris Campbell looks the part of a versatile NFL playmaker. Hakeem Butler looks like a poor man's Jon Baldwin. D.K. Metcalf looks like an NFL one-hit-wonder. Andy Isabella needs to be a day-2 draft pick to be assured of an NFL breakout. Jon Duhart, Reggie White, and Marcus Green are top deep sleeper wide receivers. Miles Sanders has the strongest case to be drafted in the second round. Bryce Love should have come out of college last season. Darrin Hall and Ty Johnson are the best deep sleepers in the NFL Draft. Dominick Bragalone needs to be on your radar. Dwayne Haskins is the 1.02 in 2-QB and superflex league formats. T.J. Hockenson is a top-5 prospect on offense. Irv Smith looks like Eric Ebron (in a good way). Donald Parham & Caleb Wilson are intriguing sleeper tight end prospects. Did the Seahawks pay Russell Wilson to hand the ball off? Tyreek Hill is a bad person and a hold in dynasty leagues. Travis Kelce vs. George Kittle: Who is the top tight end in dynasty leagues? Why is there no debate about Saquon Barkley being the No. 1 running back in fantasy football? Dede Westbrook needs to be fed this season, but don't forget about Keelan Cole. DaeSean Hamilton should lead the Denver Broncos in receptions. Watch Justin Watson post fantasy relevant weeks this season. Christian Kirk has a real chance to deliver a fantasy WR1 season in Arizona. No one loves Mark Ingram's future in Baltimore. Derrick Henry broke out all over the place last season, and no one cares. Who is more likely to slump: Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen? Keke Coutee is a top under-the-radar second year receiver who is primed for the biggest breakout. Should Ronald Jones have returned to college? Smart people have been hoarding Davante Adams in dynasty for many years. Will Fuller is a top dynasty league buy low candidate. Selling Tyler Lockett's extreme 2018 efficiency. Hold Tyler Boyd in fantasy football dynasty leagues. Odell Beckham is a top dynasty league sell candidate. Debating Le'Veon Bell's dynasty stock. Have Kenny Golladay and Chris Godwin jumped the shark? T.J. Yeldon lands on a backfield full of corpses. Aaron Jones is both good and a dynasty league sell candidate. Jamison Crowder could be the No. 1 receiver in New York. Charles Johnson & Austin Seferian-Jenkins deserve truther status. Trey Quinn looks like a top-30 wide receiver. Damien Williams' ADP is built on sand. Sammy Watkins is getting more expensive but is still a value. The Kenny Golladay and Chris Godwin hype has gone too far. Kenny Stills was the big winner from Ryan Fitzpatrick landing in Miami. Latavius Murray can easily outscore Mark Ingram this season on the strength of receptions. Tarik Cohen and James White are massively overvalued this season. Lamar Jackson should rush for 1000-plus yards. Kyler Murray heading to Arizona will help to unlock David Johnson and Christian Kirk, and the Arizona Cardinals are the best source of fantasy value this season. Trey Quinn and Paul Richardson are sneaky wide receivers on a bad offense. Marqise Lee missed his opportunity to truly break out. Tyler Eifert is the perfect late round back-up fantasy tight end. JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler, Pete Hailey and Brian Mitchell are back for this Tuesday edition of Redskins Talk, which starts off with a breakdown of Landon Collins' contract. After the numbers have come out, the deal looks quite advantageous for the 'Skins. Next, the guys welcome on Tress Way (14:25), who was at the center of quite a "controversy" on Tuesday thanks to Stephen A. Smith mistakenly referring to Tress as a starting QB. Well, as you'll hear in the interview, Way doesn't mind it and is in fact relishing his new status as Washington's signal caller. The guys say goodbye to Way and then look at Jamison Crowder's departure, wondering if Trey Quinn is the guy to take over in the slot. Chris Simms hops on next (31:05), and the NBC Sports analyst gives his opinion on tons of topics, from Collins to the mid-round QB he likes as a potential Redskin. If you like podcasts where Mitch brings up the idea of doing a solo emergency pod about potential lineman signings and you get more insight on the team's biggest signing in a while, then this is the episode for you.

Next up is some important housekeeping on things such as the Survivor Pool and the Tailgate Party (Week 3 Packers game, BE THERE). Anddddddddd that's where things take a turn. The rest of the action starts out as a segment where everyone grades the photos our ambassadors have submitted to the @RedskinsTalkPod Instagram page, but that segment quickly devolves into Tandler saying the same rating over and over again and Mitch getting weirdly introspective about this weekend's weather. Also, Pete is in a weird mood the entire time. If you like podcasts where Tandler demonstrates he barely knows what Instagram is and the guys try to dance around an awkward situation involving a dog, then this is the episode for you.

From an "undisclosed location" in M&T Bank Stadium, JP Finlay, Rich Tandler and Mitch Tischler are here to wrap up the preseason. The three hosts spend much of the pod giving their final projections for the tight races at running back, receiver and linebacker. Questions they pose include whether Samaje Perine's fumble vs. the Ravens cost him a spot on the team and how Maurice Harris' murky health situation is affecting the depth chart on the outside. They also run through their game balls and goats segment, shouting out Rob Kelley and calling out the 'Skins' tackling. And finally, you'll hear JP's 1-on-1s with Trey Quinn and Pete Robertson, both of which are very interesting. If you like podcasts where Tandler and JP sing some strange old songs and Quinn goes really in-depth on his celebration habits, then this is the episode for you.

JP Finlay, Rich Tandler, Pete Hailey and Ajay Atayee are bringing you this pod from JP's car out in Ashburn. Football is the focus at first, as the hosts recap who's healthy and who's not at running back and receiver and then debate the job security of players like Rob Kelley, Kapri Bibbs, Brian Quick and Trey Quinn. They then shift into an important segment (22:50), as they recognize all of the new podcast ambassadors. There are 80-plus names to read, so get comfy. If you like podcasts where Ajay contributes despite sitting in the trunk and Tandler is especially strict about made up rules, then this is the episode for you.

For the FIRST time in 2018, JP Finlay, Rich Tandler and Mitch Tischler recorded a post-victory podcast (yeah, it's preseason, but don't be so technical) and it's ready for you to enjoy. And, even though a 15-13 exhibition game sounds very boring, this episode is anything but. The receivers dominate the early portion of this recap, as the hosts wonder if Trey Quinn is at fault for his failed end zone connection with Alex Smith and also evaluate whether Cam Sims is primed to overtake Brian Quick. Eventually, though, as he usually does, Mitch steers things toward the BIG men and gushes over Daron Payne, Jonathan Allen and the rest of the 'Skins' defensive line. In fact, he even makes a bold proclamation about that specific unit. In the Game Balls and Goats segment, JP, Rich and Mitch hype up Kapri Bibbs (another riser) but don't give as much love to the NYJ LB who blasted Colt McCoy. Plus, stick around for the end as JP exclusively interviews both Sims & Bibbs postgame. If you like podcasts where JP and Tandler find a way to argue about whether there's an MRI machine at FedEx Field and Tandler also gets super grumpy about Dustin Hopkins receiving a game ball, then this is the episode for you.

A hot and sweaty day of Washington Redskins Training Camp 2018 today as the players hit the field and put in work.  DJ Swearinger & Jamison Crowder got a veteran day off today, which meant that Deshazor Everett and Trey Quinn stood up in their place. And today we also saw the single biggest hit we've seen at Training Camp this year! Your hosts today are Chad Ryan, Mark Phillips and Chip Brierre and together we recap all the action for you to ensure that you don't miss a single thing! Also today, we sat down with Mason Foster and had a fantastic discussion with the hard-nosed Middle Linebacker. Foster told us all about how he was pressuring Zach Brown to re-sign with the Redskins, about what makes them work so well as a tandem together, and exactly why he's a PUBG guy and not a Fortnite guy.  All that and of course more on another episode of the Redskins Capital Connection podcast! It's a special day on Redskins Talk, because our bud Jackson brought the second-ever Redskins Talk-themed sign to training camp. So, Jackson got to join JP Finlay, Rich Tandler, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey for this episode of the podcast. Practice was a bit lighter than usual today, with the backups getting more reps than the starters. Therefore, the hosts bounce around (more than they normally do, at least) and cover all sorts of things. Included: A chat about Trey Quinn's not-so-strong performance, more Maurice Harris hype, a nugget from JP on a sneaky cornerback, a note about Brian Quick on special teams and the usual "one thing" segment, which features a look at Josh Norman and Ryan Anderson. You'll also hear a cameo by NBC Sports Washington's Julie Donaldson and a story about JP almost getting destroyed by Mitch. And finally, today's interview is held with Jordan Reed, and JP asks the tight end just how much work he puts into his conditioning and about his growing bond with Alex Smith. If you like podcasts where Tandler's Millennial Meter starts going off and a hypothetical on what Mitch's first phone call from jail would be like is floated around, then this is the episode for you.

The Redskins returned to the practice field on July 31, so the Redskins Talk podcast has returned to recapping the sights and sounds from Richmond in this installment. JP Finlay, Rich Tandler, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey get things started by quickly thanking the listeners for helping them set another record before kicking the football things off with a conversation about Ty Nsekhe's health and potential move to guard. Will Mitch ever get to see it happen? Following that, they briefly focus on the linebacker spot and wonder if Martrell Spaight's days are numbered in D.C. That is followed by a really long chat about the receivers, as the four try to figure out who the heck is going to make the team behind the three top targets. Pete, for one, believes Trey Quinn is already safe, a claim that's met by plenty of pushback (like always) by the others. JP, for example, wants to see Quinn make a difference on special teams before he feels good about placing him on the final 53 (or 54, since it's JP). Finally, as usual, they go around to speak about their "one thing" from the session before tossing to JP's interview with Jonathan Allen. In that back-and-forth, Allen explains how his defense can become the "badasses" he wants them to be and scouts Daron Payne, too. If you like podcasts where JP announces when the season's tailgate party will be and Allen goes in on how much he loves freeing up others to make plays, then this is the episode for you.

Special guests Craig Hoffman of 106.7 The Fan and Kareem Copeland of the Washington Post join JP Finlay for this one, which opens up with two 1-on-1 interviews. First up is Pete's talk with Trey Quinn, where the two get super nerdy and go all in on Fortnite. How long did it take Trey to become the Fortnite beast that he is and does he play with other 'Skins teammates? He's got some strong one-liners on those questions and more. Then, Tandler catches up with Montae Nicholson, as the second-year safety lets Tandler in on how he's planning to avoid injuries and why keeping an underdog mentality is so crucial to him. After those segments, JP, Craig and Kareem discuss how nicely Alex Smith and Jamison Crowder's connection is developing and what to expect from Crowder in 2018. They also examine the team's improved depth and their plans for the off day. They also briefly discuss a pretty intense fight that happened between two defensive linemen and Trey Quinn as a punt returner. Then, they move into a conversation about how the 'Skins are really trying to improve the fan experience at FedEx Field, which is a thing that probably affects many of you listeners.
