The command to be Salt of the Earth is perfect in light of the school shooting in Nashville. Why would you be called to be salt and light if the world is already wonderful? It only makes sense of the world is rotten and dark. The progressive worldview is a poison. It's not true. It's obviously not true. But if you believe it's true, you'll never be salt. Sol Luckman, ladies and gents. This is my first venture talking with folks outside of my own clients and the Ohio world (Sol is in Florida). Before I get into it, open your mind! Sol is an artist, writer and academic. Because of his experience with a decade-long health crisis, it lead him into energy healing and DNA alterations (changing the blueprint, which I am big in that through meditation). He states in another podcast which fits me too, “My goal is present information and let people make up their own mind.” He and I are different yet the same (as I state, differences are great!!!). First, we talk about his kick-off into the spiritual, alternative world then move into his perspective that life on Earth is a virtual, simulated show down to the history of the goddess ruling this earth before the patriarchy. And, again, why the balance of male/female is so necessary. He believes balance will not happen in this "simulation" yet people can work on finding that within themselves. Yes, I agree that finding it within is so important YET I believe balance overall is happening NOW. Love it. As he states at the end of his interview... follow your bliss. At the meditative conclusion winkee winkee, the Just Be Practice is about opening your mind as my guests moving forward are going to be magnificent and continue with this evolution flow. True science and true religion must be compatible, not incompatible. In this episode of Religion Today host Martin Tanner gives a few examples of problems found in the Bible and some religious traditions, along with ways to reconcile them. He described misconceptions most people have regarding Doctrine and Covenants Section 77 and the age of the earth. Martin also gives examples of problems with science, including current inconsistencies. He concludes with near-death experiences as one area in which science and religion seem to be converging and compatible. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Maintaining a consumption-driven economy while keeping emissions down seems more and more like a pipe dream -- is it time to re-think capitalism altogether? “The only thing it requires is a massive cultural and political movement changing the rules that constrain capitalism,” says Rebecca Henderson, author of Reimagining Capitalism in a World on Fire, “but as soon as we can do that we’re done.” Short of a whole new capitalism, can the stock market be used as a tool for climate action? We may not all be managing billions in assets, but can we use our nest eggs to help finance a green economy? Visit climateone.org/watch-and-listen/podcasts for more information on today's episode. Expanding oil extraction and clean energy, supporting capitalism while fighting climate change: can humans ever really have it all? In their new books, authors Hope Jahren and Rebecca Henderson explore how a healthy climate might coexist with a consumption-driven economy — and what we need to change to get the best of both worlds. Meanwhile, is Norway the perfect example of having it all — or just a walking contradiction? Like “a drug dealer who doesn’t use its own product”, Norway’s sovereign wealth fund is the largest in the world, supported exclusively by petroleum revenues. As they continue to explore new avenues for drilling, the country has also moved away from using the fossil fuels they produce, electrifying their economy and leading in climate friendly technologies.
