Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, Luke and Marlon as first-half goals from Conor Gallagher and Richarlison coupled with a magnificent team performance saw us record a vital victory at Aston Villa to move out of the drop zone. We discuss the manner of the win, with to a man, the players being outstanding, Gallagher in particular covering every blade of grass after opening his account for us with a precision strike from distance as we won the vast majority of our duels, kept possession well and closed Villa down quickly whenever they had the ball, blocking shots and crosses and making tackles with fight and determination as he picked up the Player Of The Match award. Richarlison's powerful header on 25 minutes gave us a cushion and from there we controlled the game for the most part, Villa only grabbing a consolation in the dying seconds when substitute Emi Buendia headed into the top corner for his third goal in as many games against us this term – their first effort on target. It was a minor blot on our copybook, though, as we made it back-to-back league wins for the first time since the start of the season to move a point above West Ham in the final relegation spot with three games remaining. We discuss the transformation in which Roberto De Zerbi is performing and whether we genuinely believe he will now lead us to a Great Escape preserve our Premier League status. Robbie Mustoe and Robbie Earle react to Match Round 20 of the 2022-23 Premier League season(1:09) Arsenal win the North London Derby, beating Tottenham 2-0. Hugo Lloris had an own goal, and Martin Odegaard scored the second to put Arsenal 8 points clear at the top of the table (23:20) Manchester United came back from a goal down to win the Manchester Derby, beating Man City 2-1. Bruno Fernandes scored a controversial goal as Marcus Rashford was offside but was deemed to not have interfered with the play, and then Rashford got the winner himself.  Aaron Wan-Bissaka also earned Robbie Earle's Underappreciated Performer of the Week.(39:19) Brighton continued to impress, beating Liverpool 3-0 at home. Liverpool now find themselves 9th in the league table and Brighton sit 7th. Kaoru Mitoma also did enough to earn Robbie Mustoe's Underappreciated Performer of the Week.(50:14) Newcastle took all three points late, beating Fulham 1-0 to send them back into 3rd in the Premier League table (53:43) Chelsea got back to winning, beating Crystal Palace 1-0 behind a Kai Havertz goal.
