Het conflict in het Midden-Oosten zorgt wereldwijd voor grote spanningen. Niet alleen geopolitiek, maar ook economisch zijn de gevolgen merkbaar. Zo is de Straat van Hormuz, waar ongeveer een vijfde van alle wereldwijde olietransport doorheen gaat, momenteel afgesloten. Dat brengt risico’s met zich mee, zegt Jan-Paul van de Kerke van het Economisch Bureau van ABN Amro.
