In unserem heutigen Gastgespräch begrüßen wir den Ökonomen Lars P. Feld, Professor für Wirtschaftspolitik an der Universität Freiburg und Direktor des Walter Eucken Instituts. Mit ihm sprechen wir über die neue Regierung und den Koalitionsvertrag sowie über die aktuellen Entwicklungen in den USA. Trumps Zollpolitik sorgte für Turbulenzen an den Märkten. Wie fällt die öffentliche Meinung in den USA dazu aus? – Ein Blick nach Deutschland: Seit vergangener Woche steht der Koalitionsvertrag von CDU, CSU und SPD und damit auch die Agenda für die neue Regierung. Klar ist, es wird eine Reform der Schuldenbremse geben. Ist dies ein guter Kompromiss oder ist der Spielraum für Schulden nun zu groß? – Die Infrastruktur in Deutschland weist zahlreiche Mängel auf. In der Vergangenheit haben Überregulierung und Bürokratie Verbesserungsprozesse gehemmt. Wie sind die neuen Maßnahmen zur Deregulierung zu beurteilen? – Ein weiteres Ziel der neuen Regierung ist der Weg aus dem Fachkräftemangel. Welche Maßnahmen sind für ein breiteres Arbeitsangebot geplant? Und welche Rolle spielt dabei die Einwanderungspolitik? – Eine große Belastung für den deutschen Mittelstand ist der Anstieg der Sozialversicherungsbeiträge. Wie sieht zukünftig der Umgang mit Lohnnebenkosten aus? Schließlich: Im Vergleich zur vorigen Ampel-Koalition, trägt der neue Koalitionsvertrag zu einer Verbesserung der gesamtwirtschafltichen Leistung in Deutschland bei?

Was ist dran am Mythos, dass Frühaufsteher erfolgreicher, gesünder und glücklicher sind? Bähram Alagheband ist bekennender Langschläfer. Doch für dieses Experiment muss er zwei Woche lang täglich um 05.00 Uhr aufstehen. Wird er produktiver, konzentrierter – oder einfach nur müde und gereizt?
