Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt are back with a new episode ahead of the Premier League Darts play-offs! The boys start this week's show with a look ahead to the Premier League finale at The O2 and discuss whether anyone can stop Luke Littler from retaining the title, before making their semi-final and final predictions for Thursday night's play-offs in London. Bradley Brooks (14:25) calls in ahead of playing on the European Tour in Leverkusen this weekend. The former PDC world youth champion reflects on the last few years, from breaking his duck on the Development Tour and being on the wrong side of that historic nine darter by Willie Borland at Ally Pally to losing his tour card, having a year off the PDC tour, regaining his tour card at Q-School this year and getting back on the big stage at the World Masters. Alex and Burton then give their thoughts on Michael van Gerwen missing out on the Premier League play-offs for only the second time in his career, before picking out their favourite Phil Taylor moments after 'The Power' announced last week he was retiring from playing darts. Stowe Buntz Jr (51:13) calls in to discuss making history as the youngest ever CDC tour card holder. The recently-turned 16-year-old looks back on his landmark success at CDC Q-School earlier this year, joining his dad Stowe Buntz on the CDC tour, his dream to play at Madison Square Garden on the World Series, as well as the prospect of facing his dad at some point during the CDC season. Recorded earlier on Monday, Jimbo assembles Julien Laurens, Pol Ballús, Seb Stafford-Bloor and James Horncastle as the Euro gang sign off for the summer in style. There's only one place to start - and the dramatic events on Friday night in Serie A as Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku were on the scoresheet as Napoli tasted Scudetto glory amid jubilant scenes inside the Maradona and on the streets of Naples. Inter will be hoping to put the disappointment of missing out on the title behind them as they prepare to face PSG in Saturday's Champions League final. The French champions warmed up for the occasion by cruising to a 3-0 victory over Reims in the Coupe de France. So - who'll come out on top in Munich? The curtain closed on the La Liga season this weekend with emotional goodbyes for Carlo Ancelotti & Luka Modrić as their time at Real Madrid came to an end with a 2-0 win over Real Sociedad. Barcelona wrapped up their domestic treble-winning season with a comfortable victory at Athletic Bilbao - while Real Betis prepare for Wednesday's Conference League final against Chelsea… And over in Germany, the Pokal fairytale wasn't to be for Arminia Bielefeld as Stuttgart ended their 18-year wait for a trophy with a 4-2 victory over their third-division opponents. Plus, the big news out of Leverkusen is that Erik ten Hag is back! Produced by Lucy Oliva.RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Moments of the weekend (00.50)• PART 2: Serie A review - MVP McTominay guides Napoli to glory (08.30)• PART 3: Coupe de France review - and Champions League final preview (23.45)• PART 4: La Liga review - Emotional farewells to Don Carlo & Luka Modrić & Conference League final preview (34.30)• PART 5: DFB-Pokal review - and ten Hag's in at Leverkusen! Listen to the full show on Substack or on our YoutTube channel. On the first bonus show of the week, Manu and Stefan sit down to discuss the biggest transfer stories in the Bundesliga. They kick things off by breaking down the big news of the week: Erik Ten Hag is the new Bayer Leverkusen head coach. Will the former Ajax and Man Utd boss be the ideal replacement for Xabi Alonso at the BayArena? The duo then turn to two other managerial changes, as Werder Bremen parted ways with Ole Werner and Augsburg sacked Jess Thorup in favour of local lad Sandro Wagner. Will both clubs finally climb out of mid-table with smart managerial appointments or could these risky moves push them back towards relegation? They then wrap up the show by discuss new reports linking Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo to Bayern Munich and break down whether the Dutch talent would be a smart signing by the Bundesliga champions or little more than a runners-up medal in the chase for Florian Wirtz. Jimbo's got the whole gang together as Julien Laurens, James Horncastle, Seb Stafford-Bloor and Pol Ballús indulge in some European chit-chat as the season reaches its climax. The Serie A chaos continued with the title set to be decided on Friday night… unless a play-off is required! That's after Inter were held 2-2 by Lazio while Napoli were goalless at Parma, but it's Antonio Conte's side who still sit a point clear at the top of the table. The Eredivisie set a high bar for mayhem as PSV retained their title on the final day - despite trailing Ajax by 9 points with just 5 games to go! Michiel Jongsma's back to tell us how - and why Ajax's next boss should probably be bald… Over in Ligue 1, Alexandre Lacazette signed off in style with goals 200 and 201 for his hometown club Lyon - while there was extraordinary late drama in Strasbourg as Abdoulaye Touré's 99th minute panenka kept Le Havre in the top flight. Barcelona were still on the beers as they were beaten 3-2 by Villarreal, but it didn't matter after more Lamine Yamal magic had sealed the La Liga title against Espanyol in midweek. Meanwhile, the rebuild's already started at Real Madrid with Dean Huijsen signed and the announcement of new manager Xavi Alonso seemingly imminent… And in the Bundesliga, Dortmund completed their remarkable turnaround under Niko Kovac to seal a Champions League spot - while champions Bayern Munich finished the season 13 points clear of Leverkusen as Harry Kane made it back-to-back Golden Boots. Plus - what's the mood across Europe as the Premier League's 16th and 17th-placed banter clubs do battle in Bilbao in Wednesday night's Europa League final? Welcome in for another edition of the Morning Espresso from the SDH Network, brought to you by Oglethorpe University, Atlanta's premier undergraduate learning experience and soccer powerhouse.Carlo Ancelotti will be taking over the Brazilian national team, the first time they have had a permanent foreign manager ever. He has a lot of work to do as Brazil is in a qualification spot for the 2026 World Cup, but it is not guaranteed. There are lots of questions about the squad at the moment, but defense is a glaring issue. Tite's teams gave up 30 goals from 2016-2022, the team has given up 31 goals since the start of 2023. One thing going for Brazil, the only time they won the World Cup as the favorite was in Chile in 1962. Even at that one, they had to overcome an injury to Pele that knocked him out of the tournament. Right now, they won't be a favorite in 2026.As the seasons wind down in Europe, silly season ramps up. It's even sillier because of the Club World Cup this summer as teams jockey to get spots filled ahead of the tournament while others look ahead to next season. Kevin De Bruyne is not a sure thing for the Chicago Fire at this point as Napoli want to bring him in. Jonathan Tah is expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen on a free transfer and join Bayern Munich. One of the players he is expected to replace is Eric Dier, who will leave on a free for Monaco in France, but maybe not until after the end of the Club World Cup as Bayern could do a short term contract with Dier for the tournament. His contract with Bayern ends on June 30, around the end of the group stage. On the manager front, Cesc Fabregas is going to stay at Como in Italy rather than replace Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen according to Italian reports. Erik Ten Hag has also been linked with the Leverkusen job. Davide Ancelotti is reportedly going to Glasgow to join Rangers as their new manager, following helping his father with the first two Brazil World Cup qualifiers in June. Two clubs in the Club World Cup also need new managers and both have been linked to the Argentine Gabriel Milito. Boca Juniors is likely the front runner to get him as he is in Buenos Aires currently. They are still in the Argentine playoffs and will host Independiente next in the quarterfinals. Monterrey also are linked with Milito, but TUDN has four other names in their sights. Matías Almeyda and Dome Torrent, both with MLS experience, are in the mix along with Argentines Hernán Crespo and Eduardo Domínguez (currently with Estudiantes). John Textor wants to convince Thiago Almada of returning to Botafogo for the Club World Cup but with Almada not having a break since the 2023-2024 MLS offseason, he is reluctant to do it. Technically, he's still a Botafogo player on loan to Lyon so things could get interesting. Textor owns both clubs and has some looming financial decisions to make surrounding all of his clubs. Pachuca won their first ever Liga MX Femenil title last night, 3-2 on aggregate over Club America. Their 3-0 lead from the first leg held up, even after losing 2-0 in the second leg. They will be part of the 2025 Concacaf W Champions Cup later this year. Full schedule in MLS tomorrow night. Atlanta United's match in Austin has been delayed by 30 minutes as the high temperature tomorrow is set to be 105. Stay tuned for any further changes. We'll be on the ground in Austin later today and be on the lookout for updates from the SDH Network and from our soccer coverage on 92.9 The Game. Atlanta Soccer Tonight will air tonight at 11pm.No Espresso in its normal form on Wednesday or Thursday due to travel, but stay tuned for other updates (follow @SoccerDownHere on social media platforms, subscribe on our YouTube channel) between now and the Friday edition.

Draw in Atlanta, Harry Kane gets a trophy, and Natasha Bedingfield: Morning Espresso, 5.5

Welcome in for another edition of the Morning Espresso from the SDH Network, brought to you by Oglethorpe University, Atlanta's premier undergraduate learning experience and soccer powerhouse.Atlanta United scored first, but lost control of the match with Nashville afterwards. Following the goal, Nashville outshot Atlanta 10-2 and had 70% possession. They eventually found an equalizer and the match finished in an unfulfilling 1-1 draw. Atlanta is back in action next Saturday in Chicago against the Fire, who will be missing their goalkeeper Chris Brady following his red card in the first half of the Fire's 0-0 draw with Orlando.LA Galaxy lost last night in Kansas City 1-0 even though they didn't concede a shot, the goal was an own goal in the 13th minute. The Galaxy also lost both of their star wingers, Joseph Paintsil and Gabriel Pec, due to injury. Other MLS highlights of note include Vancouver going unbeaten in 10 games after a 2-1 win over RSL, Miami bouncing back from two home losses with a win over Red Bulls, and New England keeping their hot streak going since putting Carles Gil into a free role in their 3-5-2 shape.Parity is alive and well in the NWSL as the top 8 teams are separated by 4 points. Kansas City and Orlando are tied for the top spot with 15 points so far in the season.A verdict is expected tomorrow by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in the Club Leon case against FIFA over their spot in the Club World Cup. If FIFA's ruling is upheld, then we'll see the playoff game between LAFC and Club America go ahead. The winner of that would start the tournament here in Atlanta against Chelsea on June 16. Harry Kane has finally won a trophy after almost 700 games as a pro for club and country. Of course it wasn't straightforward... Bayern drew to RB Leipzig 3-3 on a late goal from the opposition and needed Leverkusen to slip up in their game later in the day, which ended 2-2 giving Bayern the title. Two big promotions, Pisa in Italy and Paris FC in France. Pisa hasn't been in Serie A since 1991 while Paris FC hasn't played in Ligue 1 for 46 years. Nothing beats Burnley's celebrations for getting back to the Premier League, they had Natasha Bedingfield on hand to sing the unofficial promotion anthem for them "Unwritten". She sang it for the fans at Turf Moor and the squad sang it with her in the locker room.Playoffs are set in Mexico and Argentina, they'll start next weekend. Champions League in Europe returns this week with Barcelona and Inter hopeful on injury returns while PSG and Arsenal try to shake off league losses over the weekend.More Espresso Tuesday on the SDH Network, presented by Oglethorpe University.

Manu and Stefan were back for the Bundesliga preview show (a day late due to travel), and there's plenty to unpack. Here's your weekly conversation-style recap from the pod: Bayern on the Brink (Without Kane) Manu: “This could be it — if Bayern beat Leipzig, they win the title.” Stefan: “And Harry Kane won't be on the pitch, which just writes its own jokes.” Still, Kane and Eric Dier will get their first career trophies if Bayern wrap it up. Stefan joked Dier could do a John Terry and show up in full kit at full-time. Stefan: “Bayern won't delay the title for sentimental reasons. They'll get it done.” Both agree this season's been mixed for Bayern, but Kompany has done the job that matters: reclaiming the Bundesliga title. Leipzig's Squeaky-Bum Time Manu: “This game is massive for Leipzig. If they don't get a result, Champions League football could be gone.” Stefan: “They're up against it. Orban and Gulácsi are out. Without them, they're hopeless.” Leipzig are under pressure from Dortmund and Freiburg. Without Champions League qualification, they may need to sell key players like Xavi Simons. Stefan: “They've been sleepwalking for years. Leverkusen's rise is forcing them to wake up.” Manu: “The issue isn't ambition. It's their failure to find the right formula.” The coaching situation is also in focus. Manu and Stefan suggest Leipzig need to make a bold hire — maybe Sandro Wagner or Cesc Fàbregas. Freiburg's Big Chance Manu: “If Freiburg beat Leverkusen and Leipzig lose, the door to the Champions League really opens.” Stefan: “Julian Schuster has actually improved on Streich's work.” Freiburg are two points ahead of Leipzig. Despite struggling against top-four teams this season, they have a chance to change that now. Stefan: “They need to break the curse. If you want to be top four, you have to beat top-four clubs.” They've signed a replacement for Ritsu Doan and could have Noah Atubolu back in goal — a major boost. Manu also explained why Freiburg shouldn't be considered a small club anymore. Manu: “Freiburg's greater metro area is bigger than Dortmund. They're a sleeping giant with real infrastructure now.”
