Fr. Dom is back! James and Fr. Dom tackle one of the most misunderstood yet absolutely essential topics in the spiritual life: baptism. This is not just another Church formality. This is the dividing line between belonging to the Kingdom of God and the dominion of Satan.Drawing from Scripture, the Catechism, and the wisdom of the saints, TMC lays out with clarity and conviction what baptism truly does: freeing us from original sin, making us sons of God, and incorporating us into the Body of Christ. Without it, you remain enslaved to sin and outside the family of God.You'll hear why the early Church Fathers, councils, and even the Protestant revolution itself reveal that there's no salvation without baptism. Fr. Dominic doesn't sugarcoat the truth — he calls modern men to wake up to the spiritual reality of this sacrament and to recognize the Church as the one true means of salvation given to us by Christ Himself.James and Fr. Dom also confront why our age resists authority, why relativism and pride have blinded so many, and why men must reclaim their God-given duty to lead their families into the faith by baptizing their children without hesitation. In this episode, you'll discover:The biblical foundation of baptism — from Acts to Corinthians to the Great Commission. Why baptism isn't symbolic but supernatural warfare. How baptism undoes the curse of Adam and Eve and reclaims your soul for God.Why relativism, pride, and modernism are destroying moral order — and what Catholic men must do to restore it.The spiritual danger of delaying baptism for your children. Why contemplating death (memento mori) prepares your soul for heaven.Challenge to Men: If you have children who aren't baptized — schedule it now. Don't delay. Fathers, you are the protectors of your family's souls. Take your post. Lead your household back under the protection of God. Baptism is the first weapon in your family's arsenal against hell.3 Powerful Quotes:“Through baptism, we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God. We become members of Christ and sharers in His mission.”“If you're not going to follow God, then who do you belong to? Baptism begins to undo definitively the faults of our first parents in the garden.”“Parents, you're supposed to protect your child. Why would you let them walk this world owned by Satan when baptism can claim them for God?”Key Takeaway: Baptism isn't optional — it's the decisive act that transfers your soul from the dominion of darkness to the Kingdom of Christ. Every Catholic man must treat it as a matter of eternal life and death.Send us a text Support the showPlease prayerfully consider supporting the podcast on our Buy Me A Coffee page. to help grow the show to reach as many men as possible! Holy Mass is not just a ritual. It is not a routine. It is the Sacrifice of Calvary made present before your very eyes. In this homily, Fr. Dom breaks open the truth of the Mass with fire, clarity, and conviction. He reminds us that the Eucharist is heaven on earth, the most powerful prayer, and absolutely necessary for salvation. If you have ever drifted through Mass without purpose or conviction, this episode will shake you awake. Drawing from the wisdom of the saints, Church Fathers, and Sacred Scripture, Fr. Dom calls men to approach the altar with humility, reverence, and hunger for the living God. He challenges every man to return to Mass not as a spectator but as a soldier stepping onto the battlefield of Calvary. You will learn:Why the Mass is the same sacrifice as Jesus' death on the Cross—offered in a sacramental, unbloody way.How venial sins can be forgiven in the Mass and when to call them to mind. Why the Third Commandment (“Keep holy the Sabbath”) is the most broken commandment today—and how to fix it.How to prepare properly for Mass: through repentance, reading Scripture, and interior silence. What the saints taught about the unfathomable value of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Why humility, not pride, makes our prayers powerful and pleasing to God.Fr. Dom reminds us: “If the Mass were man-made, we'd be fools to be here. But it's not. It's a gift from the Father who loves us.”The Challenge: This week, go to daily Mass at least once. Prepare before you enter. Read the readings. Call to mind your sins. Offer your week, your struggles, and your family at the Offertory. Listen intently to the prayers of the priest. Then receive the Eucharist with devotion and gratitude. This is your lifeline. This is your weapon.Three Powerful Quotes from the Homily:“The celebration of Holy Mass has the same value as the death of Jesus on the Cross.” — St. Thomas Aquinas“If we knew the value of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, how much greater effort we would put forth to attend it.” — St. John Vianney“The Mass is where heaven meets earth. This is the Holy of Holies.” — Fr. Dominic CouturierKey Takeaway for Men: The Mass is not optional—it's the foundation of a man's spiritual life and the weapon that protects his soul and family from evil. Every Catholic man must anchor his life around the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, where Christ gives Himself completely so that we may have the strength to finish the race and fight the good fight.Send us a text Support the showPlease prayerfully consider supporting the podcast on our Buy Me A Coffee page. to help grow the show to reach as many men as possible! 9/15/25 - We sit down with Samuel Morales, one of the creators behind The Official List of 100 Movies Every Catholic Should See, a two-year project that brings together films from across genres, eras, and cultures to highlight stories that resonate with the Catholic imagination. More than just a “religious movie list,” the project explores how both explicitly faith-based films and secular classics can reveal truth, beauty, goodness, and the drama of human virtue and vice. We discuss how cinema, through its art, storytelling, and emotional power, can form the imagination, spark deeper reflection, and even aid in evangelization by helping Catholics become discerning viewers rather than passive consumers. From timeless masterpieces like Star Wars to modern blockbusters like The Dark Knight, the list challenges audiences to see film not just as entertainment but as a way of encountering moral and spiritual truths that speak directly to the human heart. Jesus sends the 72 out two by two — and he sends us too. In this homily, Fr. Michael reflects on the courage it takes to live and proclaim the Gospel in everyday life. Whether it's through a kind word on a deathbed, letting go of old wounds, or simply choosing peace over bitterness, every believer is called to be on mission. Drawing from encounters with his own family and parishioners, Fr. Michael reminds us that if we lose our edge — that missionary clarity and self-giving love — we lose our faith. This is a call to choose again, to live again, to go on mission again.
In Part 2 of Emily Torres's testimony, she continues her story of standing for truth at a Catholic university that seems to have abandoned its identity. From confronting radical gender ideology to being verbally harassed for defending the Church's teaching on marriage and pro-life issues, Emily increasingly found herself isolated on campus. Despite threats, public ridicule, and faculty pushing blasphemous theology, Emily refused to back down. She organized protests and reported blatant anti-Catholic behavior to college administrators, only to be met with silence. Now a Catholic high school teacher and soon joining Catholic Answers, Emily shares the lessons she's learned and offers wisdom for students and parents navigating today's culture wars. Her witness is a reminder that even in darkness, grace sustains, and truth demands courage. It also should provoke a sense of urgency. Every Catholic family needs to know about The Newman Guide. It is the antidote to the radical ideologies lurking in our educational institutions. Click here to watch on YouTube

In this Say Yes to Holiness podcast conversation, Christina has a conversation with Susan Windley-Daoust, Executive Director, of the Mark 5:19 Project. Susan discusses her journey and the launch of the Mark 5:19 project, a nonprofit apostolate aimed at helping parishes become evangelizing communities. In their conversation, Susan emphasizes the importance of prayer and courage in sharing the Gospel and encourages individuals to step out of their comfort zones and engage with others in conversations about faith. She also highlights the need for a culture change in the Church, where evangelization becomes a natural part of our lives and relationships. Finally, she suggests practical steps, such as forming small groups and fostering meaningful conversations within families, to help foster parish renewal. Takeaways Prayer and discernment are essential in the process of parish renewal and evangelization. Every Catholic, regardless of their role in the Church, can share the Gospel and be a witness to God's love. Parish renewal requires a culture change, where evangelization becomes a natural part of our lives and relationships. Creating spaces for meaningful conversations and fostering small groups can help facilitate the sharing of faith. The purpose of the Mark 5:19 project is to support parishes in their journey towards becoming evangelizing communities. In a devastating blow to a faithful Texas Catholic family with six children who have made their living running a private ranch, the Archbishop of San Antonio Texas has issued a public letter to all Catholics directing them not to do business with the ranch. The January 30th letter formally prohibits all clergy, schools, retreat centers, catholic groups “from contracting with or utilizing Sanctus Ranch for any Catholic-sponsored retreats, meetings, activities, or spiritual endeavors.” Even where contracts were already signed, the bishop directed them to discuss it with his legal team rather than fulfill their contractual obligations. Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller instructs Catholics against Sanctus Ranch, telling them not “to participate in any of its activities.” Previous to the Archbishop's action against Sanctus Ranch, the family-run business had bookings nearly every weekend. Every Catholic booking has been canceled since they were by Catholic groups in the archdiocese. The financial loss amounts to more than $425,000.Help the Sevigny family's ministry to survive: https://www.lifefunder.com/sanctusranch Sign the petition to Archbishop García-Siller: https://lifepetitions.com/petition/sanctusranchHELP US FIGHT THE LIES OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA AND SPREAD THE TRUTH AROUND THE WORLD: https://give.lifesitenews.comSHOP YOUR FAVORITE PRECIOUS METALS WITH LIFESITENEWS: https://stjosephpartners.com/lifesitenewsSHOP ALL YOUR FUN AND FAVORITE LIFESITE MERCH! https://shop.lifesitenews.com/ Connect with us on social media:LifeSite: https://linktr.ee/lifesitenewsJohn-Henry Westen: https://linktr.ee/jhwesten Hosted on Acast. 1, 2, 3, 4) What every Catholic Needs to Know About Evangelization
In today's episode I want to share with you a powerful insight from the 4th century Church Father, St. Macarius. It is a great reminder that without Christ our lives are empty of the most important thing. As I always say, we cannot give what we do not possess. Today's Topics: 1) Gospel - Lk 12:1-7 - At that time: So many people were crowding together that they were trampling one another underfoot. Jesus began to speak, first to His disciples, "Beware of the leaven–that is, the hypocrisy–of the Pharisees. "There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed on the housetops. I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body but after that can do no more. I shall show you whom to fear. Be afraid of the one who after killing has the power to cast into Gehenna; yes, I tell you, be afraid of that one. Are not five sparrows sold for two small coins? Yet not one of them has escaped the notice of God. Even the hairs of your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows." Bishop Sheen quote of the day 2, 3) Dr. Jem Sullivan is an educator and author of catechetical books and articles with a focus on the arts in evangelization and culture. Dr. Sullivan serves on the faculty of the School of Theology and Religious Studies at The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., and writes for various Catholic publications, has hosted documentaries on the arts in catechesis and evangelization, and has served as a museum docent. She is the author of books on the intersection of faith and the arts 4) Polish Jesuit Questions Francis: Pope Francis has said repeatedly that theCatholic Church cannot condone same-sex unions or “transgender” lifestyles, but a Polish Jesuit argues that his contradictory actions often sow confusion. Father Dariusz Kowalczyk, SJ, wrote that the inconsistencies between the pope's words and actions lead to ambiguity and confusion among the faithful, calling it “a matter of concern” https://catholicvote.org/polish-jesuit-questions-pope-francis-ambiguity-lgbtq-issues/?mkt_tok=NDI3LUxFUS0wNjYAAAGO5k4Y_iP0iPtQ-28gnqGBNlDlbj4OibzlwZXvEjGaK5zRCgMd07QK__bF2xXsfDkRNBoWAVM81ejRVmeoW9YZPAHy6vvJhC4QUKfN5ow3
